Yarrowpelt eyed the young cat, her smile still set in its place. "It's not a bother, really. I just enjoy the sun. Don't you?" She lifted a paw up to her mouth to lick obsessively in an awkward sort of pause. "I'm Yarrowpelt," she continued after she had finished, setting her foot daintily back on the grassy turf.
Summerpaw. A befitting name for an odd cat, in Yarrowpelt's humble opinion. Their mouth kept twitching, the corners quirking up and down as if they weren't sure if they should smile or remain apathetic to the greeting. The warrior tittered a bit to herself as they finally settled into a small grin.
"I suppose you get this a lot," Yarrowpelt resumed, "but your eyes are so..." She didn't finish her sentence, but decided to leave the conclusion to Summerpaw's imagination. Interesting, certainly, each ruling a separate half of their face, as the sun rules the day and the moon, the night. Yes, interesting, very curious indeed.

Summerpaw let out a small purr of laughter at Yarrowpelt's latter comment. Shrugging, they looked back at the warrior.
"Well, I don't hear it as much as you might think, but I'll take that as a compliment, thank you," Summerpaw gave a small smile before turning to the sky and opened their mouth to answer Yarrowpelt's first question. "I do enjoy the sun, and I quite enjoy the moon as well. Sometimes I just really can't decide."

Thistletoe quietly sat himself down on a rock, watching his surroundings before a voice piped up behind him.
"Ah! Good to see the young generation watching their surroundings." It was Ashenheart. He turned around quietly and padded over.
"Hello, ma'am. Do you need something?" He meowed.
"Oh, if anything I mainly wanted to try and chat with someone. Everyone calls me Ashenheart. What about you?"
"I'm Thistletoe. Got called that cos of how sharp my claws are. They're great at breaking ground, yknow." Thistletoe introduced himself. The two cats continued chatting.

Larkswoop emerged from the warriors' den with a yawn, stretching each leg in turn. With a flick of her ear, Wolfhive's words rang in her mind.
I want you to make an effort to interact with more Clanmates. I don't care who, I don't care how many - but within the next week I want to see you bringing in at least six pieces of prey with others, okay? Talk with them, take them out on a hunt with you. It can be one session, it can be split up - whatever works best for you. But focus on visiting with others and making up for the friends you currently do not have. If I don't see you trying, I will have to re-evaluate your status in the Clan since without those connections you'll likely relapse again.
A purr welled in her throat. Larkswoop was just glad that Wolfhive had let her return. Spotting a nearby Clanmate that she recognized as Sproutfleck, the warrior bounded over to him on graceful paws.
''Hey, Sproutfleck!'' She called, slowing to a trot as she approached him. ''Would you like to go hunting with me?''

Wolfhive was heading for the camp's entrance when he noticed Larkswoop approaching Sproutfleck out of the corner of his eye. He gave her a short nod, before he fully disappeared past the barrier.

it's one of those days, cunningshrike has found, where his head spun with something other than plans and thoughts. a fuzzy middle ground. a grey area between his god complex and his intense inferiority, where he was instead cradled by apathy and a large divide between his free will and his mind, autopilot mode shifting into gear and the monotony of clan life digging its ugly claws in.
then, pin prickles up his back, he felt eyes on him. shocked into alertness, like an astronaut on a tether, cunningshrike found himself yanked back to the forefront of his mind. passing a cursory glance over his shoulder, he spotted treepaw's dead gaze boring into him. he blinked.
then he grinned, head canting curiously as he observed the soon-to-be-warrior.
he was returned with an unchanging stare. familiar discomfort crawled up his spine, his once boundless energy suddenly caving to the intense demands of his paranoia. she wanted him dead, he decided in that moment. she wanted to usurp him, and cut him to pieces so he could never rise from the grave and exact his revenge upon her. so his dreams of one clan united under his iron claws would be forever dreams.
a low, nervous laugh escaped his throat as he forced down any malice. nonsense, cunning! how silly. to take a stare so personally. he cleared his throat, repeated some affirmations in his head, and smoothed down his fur before turning and trotting over. with practiced charisma, he smiled, "hello treepaw! glorious weather we're having, hm?" he inquired through a glistening, sharp smile.

In camp, Wolfhive watched Fallingpaw begin to walk off with mild confusion. "Aren't you supposed to be supervised for the actual chores?" Was pretty sure that was part of the punishment, 'n he didn't want Fallingpaw to make such a minor mistake again. "You still want me to, or are you finding someone else?"

falling paw put his supplies down to speak "Oh right yeah... yeah I was headed to the medics den but I guess I could do the apprentice's den if you want to come with me." he said looking at the two dens as he spoke the names he was kinda hopeing Wolfhive would go but did not want to force him
