Honeybite growled in the back of her throat as she noticed a patrol seemed to be late in departing for their patrol. Nosey as always, she approached Silkpaw and Finchpaw.
"Were the two of you not assigned to a patrol? What is the delay?"
The lilac-point looks over to the lithe warrior, and blinks.
"Erm, well, you see.... Our warrior hasn't shown up, and we can't go alone."

Ugh, of course. Someone else decided they weren't going to do their job, and now she had to actually do something productive to fix someone else's mess.
Fine, whatever.
With a displeased sigh, she gestures for the apprentices to follow her.
"I'll take the both of you in their stead. What was your patrol?"
Silkpaw's tail pressed to the side of his body.
"Icy Heartlands, hunting."
Honeybite nods, and pads out of camp, expecting the apprentices to follow.

Yellowtwist arrived back at camp, hopefully with his patrolmates with him.

He dropped off his four broom.

Tuftedtusk arrived behind Yellowtwist, dropping off his dandelions beside his patrol leader's, eyes scanning the clearing for Mossfreckle.

Gracklepaw followed the rest of his patrol with his 3 marigold in his mouth, dropping his beside Tuftedtusk and Yellowtwist and waiting beside them. Were they supposed to wait? He wasn't sure. He'd never been on an herb patrol.

Briarsplash came bounding in, carrying four pieces of prey. The warrior glanced behind her, making sure Wolfhowl was following. Carefully setting the prey into the fresh-kill pile, Briarsplash then padded over to Lynxshade to give the report.

"Good haul... woulda gotten more had Lionpaw showed up, though," she huffed. "The 'paw never showed their face!"

With that, she dipped her head to the Enforcer and waited to make sure Wolfhowl came in.

Wolfhowl followed Briarsplash, carrying 3 pieces of prey. He put the prey on the pile and padded over to Lynxshade.

"A nice bit of prey... We would of gotten more had Lionpaw come. He didn't come on the patrol. Also, I think I heard some falling trees as I was walking back from the patrol." Wolfhowl said to Lynxshade.

Petalrot pushes bug's way back into camp with the two apprentices to bring the gathered herbs. "Mossfreckle, here are some of the herbs, Midnightpaw and Grousepaw are carrying the rest - I hope it's enough."

grousepaw followed quick behind petalrot, mouth full of a dock leaves. "i got stuff." he grunted through the leaves, a lazy grin tugging at the corner of his mouth.
