EmberClan lives in the mountain Skyreacher. A short walk away from the mountain is a barn where a friendly loner lives. A trek in the other direction will have you at the Great Lake.

The Great Lake (A huge lake to the west of the mountain that stems from a waterfall, known as the Moonfall. Nobody except leaders, deputies, medicine cats, and cats with permission may go near the Moonfall.)
The Barn (A barn to the east of the mountain where a friendly loner lives. It is EmberClan’s backup camp.)
The Moonfall (The StarClan meeting place.)
The Eagle Tree (A large tree named after the most remembered leader, Eaglestar. An eagle is always there, and it’s believed that it is Eaglestar’s spirit. Every cat has to go there for their vigil, and it’s said that if you leave an offering, Eaglestar’s spirit will bless you. If you try to hunt the eagle, you will be severely punished for disrespecting StarClan.)

TRADITIONS
The Mudfest - Every year, to celebrate the return of greenleaf, the cats of EmberClan hold the Mudfest. Cats split up into teams and fling mud at each other.
The Eagle’s Crown - Every leaf-fall, a select few young apprentices are chosen for a play titled ‘The Eagle’s Crown’. It tells the story of Lizardleap’s rule and how Eagleleap had to make an impossible decision: save his Clan but kill his brother, or watch his Clan fall to ruin.

FOUNDATION
Ghost was a loner who hated the idea of living on his own, and wanted to settle down somewhere. So he decided to found a small group of cats and settle them in a nearby abandoned mine. It eventually became a thriving Clan, and he named it EmberClan after the embers that once burned in the torches. He named himself Ghoststar, and chose Eagleleap as his deputy.

EARLY HISTORY
Ghoststar was murdered by Lizardleap because his anger at not being chosen for deputy grew to be uncontralable. He took over the Clan for a decently long time before Eagleleap killed him and took his place as leader.
LATER HISTORY
The Great Blizzard happened during Fangstar’s rule. It killed many and cut off EmberClan’s connection to StarClan due to the Moonfall freezing.
RECENT HISTORY
Petalstar dies peacefully in her sleep and Emberfall succeds her, becoming leader. Shadowblaze becomes deputy, but dies to the same illness that killed Petalstar. Currently there is no deputy

WARRIOR/MEDICINE CAT’S CODE
Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships and romance with cats from the other Clans, but be prepared to meet them in battle.
Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan’s territory.
Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Once made an apprentice, the cat must travel to the Great Lake with their mentor at night.
Kits cannot leave camp without the supervision of a warrior.
Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night at the Eagle Tree after receiving their warrior name.
A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh unless the leader has a valid reason not to.
A gathering of the Clans is held at every other full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
Boundaries must be checked and marked regularly. Challenge all trespassing cats.
No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code. Only question if their word is completely unreasonable.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
A warrior frowns upon but does not fully reject the soft life of a kittypet.
A leader can be deposed if 2/3rds of the Clan agrees on it. These rumors cannot be started by the deputy.
A cat can switch Clans for love, but must overcome 3 trials of the other Clan leader’s choice. If they fail, they have a chance to still make it depending on what the other leader thinks.
Before retiring, a leader must go to the Moonfall to be stripped of their nine lives so that the new leader can take up the role.
A medicine cat is allowed to have a mate and kits, though being biased will result in punishment.
Medicine cats are to stand outside Clan conflict and rivalry; treating every cat with the same amount of care as they would their own clanmates.
A medicine cat must be able to interpret signs from StarClan, though they do not need to be able to commune with them, but it is highly suggested.
Medicine cats cannot reject an injured cat.
A medicine cat must do everything in their power to save a sick or injured cat.
A medicine cat will give his or her life to save a cat.
