Temporary Forest Training Teacher

Fawn twitched her tail. Gather around, all of you. She meowed and sat down.

Welcome to Forest Training. In this class, you will learn forest stuff. I don't know. I'm the substitute for this class. Fawn remarked, obviously annoyed that she was told to come here.
Yada yada. I'm Fawn. I'm usually the Improvement teacher but now I'm the Temporary Forest Training Teacher. She meowed.
We have some new students today, so, yeah, I'm going to do all the introduction nonsense. I'm Fawn-- well you knew that already. Red is the Headmaster and you will address him as Headmaster or Headmaster Red. Only I can address him as Red. He's the scary black cat with the amber eyes. You guys saw him at the Hay Pile. So, names, since I can't remember anything.

A black-furred she-cat with silver swirls and silver eyes looked around. Well, this was and odd place. But Mom did want her to come here..... and she really hoped she didn't use the wrong name....... I mean, having two names? Really? And 'Vortex' is kinda lame, she thought. A giant tractor, long broken down, was where she was supposed to be, apparently. Oh, wait. She was supposed to call that a giant 'dead monster', wasn't she? Uh, cat talk was so weird. How would she ever get used to it? And being in cat form was weird. So overwhelming. She took some deep breaths, trying not to let herself accidently cause some wind and do something bad. The fact that Wendy's.... er, Vortex's mind kept going back to the classroom debacle did not help. Instead, she tried to focus on feeling the breeze, but that still didn't help. Wendy.... uh, god, VORTEX (would she ever get used to the second name?????) sat down by the.... uh.... no, not broken down tractor, GIANT DEAD MONSTER. She managed not to cause a hurricane (or would that be a tornado? was she using the wrong word? well, she wasn't near water, so it must be tornado not hurricane). And who where all these other people.... wait, no, not people, CATS!!!! She ended up causing the start of a tornado, and she began to panic, which just made it worse.

Wendy.... er, Vortex, was surprised by this cat's reaction. Like it was normal for a cat to make tornadoes out of nowhere. The surprise as enough to make the tornado stop, and the day went back to normal. And she wasn't as nervous. If it was normal, it couldn't be too bad, right? Minus the fact that no one else her probably knew about the fact that she was technically a human. When her mom
helped get her into this, she told her, Don't let anyone know that you are a human, not a cat. It could be very, very dangerous for you if you did, because it might not get taken very kindly. Not that Vortex would risk that kind of embarresment anyways. "Uh, thanks?" she said, unsure whether the cat actually meant the complement about her tornado being 'cool'. Vortex, nor anyone else who had seen that happen, had thought it was cool. Only her family knew, and they thought it was disastrous, and when it occured around unknowing human teachers, they found it a dangerous and annoying development. So yes, saying that a tornado she caused was 'cool' sorta got her surprised. But at least no more wind broke out..... yet.

Moon listened to Fawn and flicked her tail nervously. Well, this is it... She really was getting in this school, and she really was going to learn to control her powers. There's no getting out of this. She had accepted by now that she wouldn't be able to fix herself, to remove her powers, but was she doing the right thing?

Suddenly she could feel a breeze cutting across her fur, which grew stronger by the minute. She glanced back, and saw the source of the wind. There was another cat, a student, she guessed, but as she laid her eyes on the black cat, a piercing headache formed. Oh no oh no oh no.... And then she blacked out.

Wendy was in the car, shaking scared. A very fast wind still blew, something that's happened around her before, but now.... now she knew it was her fault. "I'm so sorry, baby...." her mother, in the front seat of the car said. "I never told you, because I didn't think.... this.... would happen."

"I'm a freak!" Wendy shrieked, her black hair whipping around her face as a vortex of wind surrounded her. She knew it was her fault, but she really didn't care right now. She was a creepy, experimented on freak.

"No, no, your aren't a freak! Youre just..... special." her mother said softly.

Wendy had to disagree, and the mini tornado around her grew worse. It did not, however, affect the rest of the car. And her words came out clear. She was a freak, as far as she was concerned. That was why she had silver eyes and silver lips. That was why her skin was so pale. She got more agitated, and the mini tornado got larger and started messing with the car. Wendy felt the car stop, and her mother pushed a needle into the skin of on her her pale, skinny arms.

"I'm sorry honey, but I can't have you drawing attention to yourself like that, and destroying the car. The classroom debacle was suspicious enough. I know you didn't mean to....." the eight-year old girl felt herself black out.

The vision ended. She lay still for a few moments, frozen in shock. She couldn't move. She couldn't breathe. She couldn't see. She felt a stabbing pain in her head, all around her body. She couldn't think. She let out a low moan. She was in agony.

Okay, what the heck? This cat just blacked out after one look at her. "A-are you okay?" Vortex asked the strange cat, who seemed to be in pain.

Moon could hear... something... somecat was speaking, but she couldn't make out the words. She was shuddering now, but the pain receded to her head, leaving her body free of pain but her head feeling like needles were pinning her. She opened her eyes a crack; her vision was blurry. It soon cleared, and she was looking at the black silver cat. She widened her eyes, scrambling backward, wincing in pain. "You... you were the... the..." She stopped speaking. Her limbs felt weird after being a twoleg... Human. The word came to her. Human. The word felt strange and foreign in her head. What was that!?! Internally she was freaking out, but she tried to keep calm. Something told her to keep quiet about the vision... She took a deep breath. Her fur crawled, like she didn't belong in this body. "S-sorry..." she said, wincing again. "I'm... I'm fine." She shook her head, still feeling strange. She looked at the cat again. Wendy. This cat was Wendy. She was sure of it.

Caspian bounded over, eyes bright. He had, unfortunately, missed the first class. But, he was in his element. The forest! Yeah! He sat patiently, for his turn, yelping at the tornado, grinning like a maniac as it stopped. "Woah.." He said quietly, eyes bright. "Hello! I'm Caspian!"They purred, flicking his tail in greeting. Wait, was he supposed fo demonstrate his power, or...? If so, what would he demonstrate? Plants would be the easiest, and safest, likely. Caspian wasn't sure how he ended up here. Well no..they did. He just didn't like it. He had gotten mad, and he..lost it. He wrapped some random tom in vines and burnt him a tad. Not intentionally, of course. But he freaked out, and someone told him about this place. Looking back on it, he was 90% sure it was Headmaster Red. He watched the other cats, not bothering to interact with em. He huffed, and shook the memory from his mind, putting back on a cheerful face.

Fawn ran over to Moon and prodded her. You alright? I think Red mentioned something about your power. Visions or something. She muttered and turned to the new student. Nice tornadoes. Never seen that before. Fawn commented and helped lift up Moon. Okay. Back to introductions. She meowed and listened to Caspian's response. Ah, thank you. What might your power be? She asked.

Headmaster Red

Red jolted awake. He heard a howl and rush of wind. He stood up and looked out of the Tall Moss(his den). Red saw the tornado and he blinked. Alright. Tornadoes. He meowed and padded to the Dead Giant Monster to supervise.

The tom looked up, and blinked. He had been zoned out on a lizard, and then he had been asked what his power was. "Huh? Oh! Uhmm.. It's elemental control, but I prefer to stick to plants. Fire wouldnt be the best idea in the woods anyways.."He answered, ilting his head slightly as he spoke. That's a good explanation, yeah? Yeah. Yeah, it would work. Of Course, he could have another, undiscovered power, he supposed. Unlikely. Okay, so..tornadoes and..visions? Oo, cool! Awesome. He glanced down and the grass, and saw a dead flower. Huh. Wonder how it died? Like obviously flowers don't live forever, but in vegetation like this, it would take more, right?
