Night gave a gentle blink to his brother, Night pressed his muzzle to his brothers ear, murmuring a quiet thanks, "What is she" Night whispered to his brother, his eyes and tone serious as he looked at Nightshade. "Letting her press up on you like your mates?" He questioned, Night was a protective brother, only wanting the best for his brother

Nightshade looked at Jack and nodded, she then turned and watched Night lean forward to Jack. Her eyes narrowed. What did that sly tom think he was doing...what was he saying. she thought, she continued to stare. She hated when people whispered.

Night looked at his brother. Blinking as his usually narrowed eyes rounded. "It was just a question" he mumbled, shifting his paws for a moment. Seeing his brother glance at Nightshade, "It's ok to have a crush. I've had one before." Night meowed, his deep tone unusually soft, it usually only got soft when talking to his brother as he was family. Night shuffled his paws again and blinked at Jack. "Your saying breakfast now? I don't like you hiding things from me Jack." Night murmured, "I want you to trust me, I'm your brother not another one of these cats. And wheather you like it or not, what your saying and they way your looking at her is like, a new kind of duality I've never seen before." Night meowed, adding quickly before his brother got mad again, "but! As your brother, I trust you."

Nightshade curled up into a ball, it wasn't night fall but she was pretty tired with everything going on. She yawned, and closed her eyes trying to get some sleep but it wouldn't arrive, she opened her eyes and looked up at the sky.
