Jack nodded. I'm fine, just tired. He gave her ear a small, rough lick before collapsing in his nest and dosing off.

Nightshade nodded, but purred when he licked her ear. She stood there and watched him for a couple minutes. Just to make sure he was still breathing, standing up she walked out of the den.

Night gave his brother the most, "I told you so" look ever. His gaze flickering with a protective amusement as he looked at his brother and his seemingly new mate. Night growled. "You even snapped at me and now look at you. Wipe the girn off before I do." Night growled, his tail flicking the only thing showing the playful banter between the siblings.

Ember sat on one side of the Dark Center, glaring at Fallen. Fallen was looking directly at her father, pretending to not notice Ember when she did.

Tracker sniffed loudly and saw his daughter looking at him. He narrowed his eyes and looked away. Damn it. Why is she looking at me like that? He hissed to himself and lashed his tail.

Nightshade sat on the far side of camp, she knew Night and Jack were talking. She didn't want to interrupt them, all she could do was worry about him from outside.

Slitthroat was sitting on the opposite of camp where Nightshade was. His one eye looked around camp. He then bent down and took a bite of the bird that was at his paws.

Lynx was sitting at the entrance of the leader den, waiting for Night and Jack. She wanted to speak to them both about taking in Sliverkit as her own.

Bear looked around the clearing, her eyes rested on Lynx her mother. She didn't understand why Lynx was so caught up in trying to raise Silverkit as her own...but deep down she knew.. it was because she lost her own

Night finally walked out from Jack's den to let him rest, giving a gentle purr to his brother. Not bothering to hide his affection towards his brother and show a bit of a soft side to his group mates. Yawning, Night looked around at the cats. "He's resting" Night told Nightshade, padding up to her. His eyes showing there normal narrowed state, though they had a softness in them that wasn't there before. "Don't worry about him, he'll be fine. Jack's been through way worse than this." Night meowed, his tone gruff as he tried to stay calm. Though Night had to sit down to hide his trembling tail. Night gave a deep exhale. He'd almost lost his brother before, due to stupid fights and defending his right against hating the clans, but this was to close to home. Literally and metaphoraclly. Night inhaled gently and calmed himself. Night spotted Bear, waving the cat over to him with his tail. "Nightshade, have you taken Fallen out? Maybe taking her out will get your mind off things for a while, you can do a short trip and come back. Perhaps just teach her a crouch." Night meowed to his sister-in-law. "But don't make it quick and have her learn to be a lopsided badger just because you want to come home." Night growled, his normal tone coming back.

Nightshade looked up when Night came over to her. "So you are sure he's gonna be fine?" she asked, with what Night was saying about how he has been through worse really didnt' settle her nerves. She then looked over at Fallen at the mention of her apprentice. "I have taken her out this morning, but I can do that for sure right now." She meowed. "Fallen!" she called before turning back to Night. She could tell he was acting some what strange but shrugged it off as possibly scared. "I'll make sure she gets it right." she said with a dip of her head. Nightshade's mind was here and there so maybe Night was right. Maybe it would take her mind off things.

Grayson hid behind a bush, creeping slowly into the clearing full of cats. Who were they? Why weren't they with their housefolks? Did they all sneak out? His collar jingled, and he froze, pressing himself against the ground. Had they heard that? He made his way under the bush, covering his kittypet scent. He had refused to eat for almost four sunrises now, and he was starving. Grayson just didn't want the slop that his housefolk dumped into his bowl.

Silverkit pulled away from Lynx once again, the stubborn little thing scowling.
