Hemlockleaf sat guard by the camp entrance, though his gaze flickered back to his clanmates occasionally. He enjoyed observing the goings on within the camp. He sat so he could watch his clan and the outside, his gaze only revealing his alertness and satisfaction.

Icekit chased after a small yellow butterfly. Butterflies. That's what they were called. Palepaw had told her those flying things with pretty wings were called butterflies. And turns out, butterflies were quite common in ShadowClan. She wondered if they'll let her chase after butterflies once she is an apprentice, like Palepaw.
Mistfall went to lengths to keep her coat shiny and clean, often obsessively. The mostly grey she-cat was in the middle of a thorough cleaning session when she noticed a kit on a collision path with herself. The young thing was following a butterfly and obviously wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings. Slightly annoyed by being interrupted, but ultimately deciding that she didn't want to be trampled by some unobservant kit, Mistfall leapt out of the way swiftly and swiped a paw down in front of her wanting to catch.. Icekit, right? the thought flashed through her mind for a moment wanting to catch Icekit's tail and stop her in her tracks.
"It's beneficial to sharpen your tracking skills, but you must watch your surroundings," Mist rasped out. She kept her eyes on the kit curious about what her reaction would be.
Mudslide hadn't much to do at the moment except for sitting. Which, in hindsight, was fine. But just sitting around simultaneously seemed to give some cats the notion that she was open to being talked to. She wasn't. Ever. Don't. Even. Try. As much as she hated conversation though, if anycat came to talk with her, Mudslide was far from being rude. Cats who were ticked off for no reason always made her feel trapped all over again. Trapped in a conversation she didn't want to be in as well as being stuck with a cat who talked like she was the one who skimmed all the meat from their prey.
Maybe she should go out for a walk, try and find some nice trinkets for Roachflare to find an excuse to bother and talk to them. She knew a peace offering wasn't required to share his company, but it was somewhat built into her system. Mudslide wasn't sure why Roachflare enjoyed her company, why he stuck around, but encase he left got dragged away by the rest of them, at least he'd have something to remember her by. Also, she felt as though she needed to do something to make up for the fact that talking to her was like talking to a tree.
Which was fine. Mudslide wanted to be boring, unnoticeable, and basically average, but she didn't want to be like that with her one friend. She wanted to open up a bit more, but every new and revealing words that bubbled up in her throat got choked out by her own fear of losing him. Like, why try? And she didn't like that, not at all. But maybe it was safer for her.

*Nightkit sat in the clearing, looking around. He knew the other kits would be playing, but he didn't really have much interest in playing with other kits. It seemed mundane really, as did trying to find someone to have a conversation with. But Mother had said that he needed to explore. He sat down, curling his tail around his paws and hoping someone would come up to him.*
