Shellpaw padded out of the Apprentices' Den, giving his limbs a quick stretch before making his way towards the fresh-kill pile. Hmmm, it was a great day to have some fish. Well, technically everyday was, but today especially felt like it. The orange tabby apprentice picked up a fresh trout from the prey pile and walked to a corner of the clearing, settling down to eat his meal. Yum yum.

Wolfkit couldn't help but be nervous, but also excited, it was a mix of the two emotions. This was the first time she was allowed to traverse around camp by herself without being watched and Wolfkit knew better than to mess around and get herself into trouble. Her Mom had asked her to find things around camp, like finding the biggest leaf, or seeing if she can find any smooth pebbles in the creak. Just some small things to keep the she-kit busy as she didn't exactly have any littermates nor friends to explore the camp with. Her Mother had also urged her to be open to meeting new people and creating connections with others but personally Wolfkit would rather it just be her and her Mother. Although she supposed friends would be nice to have as it'd make carrying the treasures back to the nursery much easier than if she did it all by her lonesome.

For now though Wolfkit padded across the clearing, hoping to start invesigating for her treasure on the opposite side of the nursery.

"Great!" He mewed happily as he began bounding towards the river. "Let's go now."

Brokenstream skidded to a halt by the river's edge, glancing over his shoulder back at Sorrelsplash. "Wanna race to the other side?"

Sorrelsplash let out a soft purr and bounded after him, slowing down to a stop as the Lionheart stopped at the edge of the river. After a moment of thinking over his offer, she finally nodded and dipped a paw in the water. "It feels amazing!" She announced. "Perfect temperature for me to beat you to the other side."

He didn’t have time to be tired ans he skidded into camp, eyes still wide and his ears pinned to his head. “BERRYSHINE! COBWEBFERN! I gotta warrior in the ‘erritory! He was attacked, throa’ injury and eye- eye missing, dunno what else…he doesn’t have much time I don’ think…I can show you where he is.” he let himself heave a few breaths as he waited for the healers reaction. One they hopefully had things under control, he would seek out StormStar immediately. He was just too panicked to consider speaking to the leader right now.

Frostbite stood up in the clearing from the spot she was at, the white she-cat's icy blue eyes instantly held worry. A Riverclan warrior attacked? she thought. Who would attack one of us? the she-cat padded over to the Lionheart. "Rowanmane, who's out there? Are they alive?"

Stormstar - RiverClan Leader

"What the hell?"

Descending from her den in a flurry the leader immediately bounded over towards Rowanmane. The scent of blood and fear mixed together and had the leader wrinkling her nose. Seriously, could they never catch a damn break?? Stars above if this was another predator she was going to take every single warrior in the Clan and exterminate the entire forest. "A Clanmate was attacked, badly it seems, 'n you just left 'em out there???" Her roar was furious, tail lashing as she stared at Rowanmane. A Clanmate - injured, at that - just left in the territory? Bleeding?? To attract predators???

Her fury at Rowanmane made her want to spit words that she knew she'd regret later, so she swallowed them. "Who, Rowanmane? 'N where??" She knew she could likely just follow the scent, but in her rage she stood there glaring daggers at her Lionheart. It wouldn't be the smartest idea to just rush in, plus without a name she ran the risk of following useless scent trails considering patrols had just come back awhile ago. Stars above...

The large she-cat nodded as she settled in more, wrapping her tail neatly around her paws "I'm glad, I'm not bad myself, though the colder the weather gets the harder it feels to leave camp, let alone the warriors' den" She joked with a tired smile, nodding in response to Frost's question

"mmm- For the most part I suppose- The prey's starting to get pretty scarce- I'm worried for the leaf-bare season" She said sighing softly, her tail tip twitching behind her as she took another bite of her carp before chewing, then swallowing "Hopefully our warriors can pull themselves together enough to get enough prey to last the season" she said with a soft sigh.
