I hope so. Goldenwhisker meowed, looking up. Would StarClan approve? Would they forgive and forget the bad things that still haunted her dreams? Would she ever be with Darkfire again? She shook off her bad thoughts, replacing it with one fierce thought that she loved. I still have Smoketail.

Smoketail purred. His heart soared everyday when he looked at her, beautiful as can be. Like a flower. Her name definitely suited her. Smoketail leaned forward and pressed his nose to hers. “I love you.”

"Why was it your fault? You are just a kit." Hornetfur meowed, trying to comfort her. "You didn't know, you are...how many moons old?"
Violetpaw continued to sit next to him, looking around the camp and occasionally looking back down at Silentpaw. After a while went by, she heard the tom sigh and she gazed over at him, noting his claws digging into the ground. "You know," She began, her whiskers twitching with faint amusement. "You match your name, you are very quiet. I wonder how you managed to get a name that perfectly suited you like that, it's almost crazy."
The black she-cat looked back into the camp, shifting a little where she sat to get more comfortable. "My name is Violetpaw, but I don't know why I was named that, nothing about me is Violet and I don't look like a flower."

Silentpaw side-eyed the apprentice beside him when she began talking. His... Name? He knew exactly why he was named that. Even right after birth, he meant nothing to his mother. Just silence. He'd eventually gotten used to the fact that he would never be appreciated. Until it was revealed Foggymask was his father. He had treated him differently. He didn't have a favourite child, unlike Clovepool. He appreciated him. He loved him.
Silentpaw's breath hitched as thoughts of Foggymask began drowning him again. DON'T. CRY. He screwed his eyes shut and nodded stiffly. He wanted to tell the apprentice -- Violetpaw -- to leave. But he knew she wouldn't. Unless he attacked her. But that was too risky. So he just let her talk. Like he always does with other cats. He tried to focus on her voice, attempting to drown out the overwhelming thoughts of his father.

Stars, when did he attract cats? First he heard Salmonshade's quiet and calm voice, and then Violetpaw's soft yet concerned one. Too much. Toomuch. The apprentice sucked in a deep and shaky breath before lifting his head from the ground and looking at both Salmondshade and Violetpaw. Great, great, great. How was he going to explain this?!
He wouldn't, that's what. There was nothing to explain. They didn't deserve to know. With his usual deadpan expression, Silentpaw shook his head and lightly waved his paw, dismissing both the warrior and fellow apprentice. There was nothing for them to worry about, it was his problem after all. He wasn't about to drag other cats into it. Why did they care so much?! He's not that important. To anyone. To Firepaw, or... The other Firepaw. They didn't care. Clovepool didn't care. Shadepaw didn't care. Foggymask didn't care either. If he did, why would he get his ass killed?
His panic and grief was quickly replaced by annoyance and frustration. Frustrated at himself for looking so weak and pathetic in front of his Clanmates, frustrated at Foggymask for being the one to cause all this in the first place, dammit, and frustrated at both the cats standing before him because WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY CARE?!

Salmonshade frowned. "I'm not leaving. What's wrong, hon?" She sat down next to Silentpaw and had a worried look on her face. "Don't think I'm babying you. Just checking to see if you're okay. Family member missing?" She asked. She knew what it was like to have a dead family member. Also an abusive parent.
