What- WHAT WAS HIS BROTHER DOING??? Grottokit gave Houndkit a horrified look and reached over to tug the ruined snake skin toward him so that he could hunch over it protectively. It was a gift from Mother! How dare he!!
Grottokit fixed his brother with a withering glare, now entirely disinterested in the snake and the dumb question that was asked. "Why?" he barked. "You ruined it. It's ruined!"

Specklekit snuck out of the nursery, and looked around. She smelled something... interesting. Her mom was sleeping, and all the other kits were so busy playing, that no one noticed her slip out. I have to know that that smell is! She thought, stumbling on her tiny legs. She followed her nose and came upon a den with a weird smell. All sorts of plant smells. She sighed, pleased at the different scents.

Blackberrybat hummed a little tune to himself as he made his way from the warrior's den to the prey pile with a light skip to his step. Breakfast was always a nice start to the day, a good way to wake up and appreciate the work your clan mates put into taking care of each other while looking over the camp as it wakes up. A smile made its way onto his face as he took a small mouse and settled towards the edge of camp to eat peacefully before finding some chores and tasks and fun stuff to do for the day. Maybe he should visit the elders, and help out there, and maybe start some games for the little guys in the nursery.
Shadow Fiend: Inactive
[ black and white cat, blue and amber eyes. face and shoulder scarring. | she/they ]
[ #VGCHollow ]
➢ Hollow drifts through the clearing, finding a shaded area to rest. Her eyes wandering among the cold Clearing that Shadowclan cats gathered in for whatever activities they wished to do or get done. Her own were pointless in the current state of mind they had fallen into. Boredom chomps at her tail like a bitter voice in their head. Her Warrior training was thankfully moving faster than expected. She could climb trees (although she could use some extra practice) and stealth was a work in progress of sorts with battle falling into the same category. Swimming could be interesting but Hollowpaw wasn’t truly a fan of water or those who were often found in it. Clan politics didn’t interest her much either but they figured if they wished to be some an Enforcer, they would have to start taking a step into the proper knowledge of it…

small spiky-furred black tabby with striking icy blue eyes. has a huge fluffy tail & a few scars in the shapes of bite-marks across its ankles; notch in left ear. speaks in a rough & low tone of voice and smells strongly of mint & pine.
➛ Gutsgnaw couldn't get a read on Squirrelrise to be truthfully honest. She covered bat's ass and they both had managed to not get completely sniffed out. Seemed to be a competent enough warrior. (Also unfortunately was a witness to it bawling its eyes out & overall being a mess. And happened to be one of the few connecting links remaining of Goopywhisker. ) Somewhere around the line they skipped a few steps because teeth wasn't even sure what she really .. liked. Favorite colors was important although boring small talk. A requirement if you would.
Besides, the feline couldn't stand being in camp for so long and they were stuck back on the buddy system. (Also.. it was low on supplies.) Eight-teen moons waiting to be free and yet.. only more waiting! Abyssdamnit, if bat wanted to risk its own safety then that was haunts personal choice!!
Shaking its head, Gutsgnaw rose to its paws and silently approached Squirrelrise. This was easy. Just one sentence. Not a big deal at all and totally didn't feel awkward. "Yoyo, Squirrels! Waanna go on a walk?" It inquired, large striped tail swishing back and forth. At least the sun beaming down offered some warmth in leaf-bare.
it's not my problem if you don't see what i see
and i do not give a damn if you don't believe ── my problem,it's my problem that i never am happy ! !
The usually small warrior sat in Shadowclan camp carefully washing the dirt from her paws. She had a small thing about clesyness, even though her dark fur hides most dust and dirt. She must look her best. Tinywolf's tongue hung out as her icy blue gaze spotted a spotted tom. She should know him, right? Well a name isn't coming up into her head so she must get to know him. "Oh! Hey, hello! You there!" she chirped, beckoning the cat with her tail. "Yes you! Can you come here?"

SQUIRRELRISE she/her | 17 moons | small, scarred russet and brown molly with white markings and yellow eyes
[ chill of death, hulk SMASH ]
sleep had started to come to squirrelrise easier than it used to. she still by no means got a full night's rest, but certainly more than she previously got. so, now she doesn't feel like a zombie from a lack of sleep, she feels like a zombie because of the cold. it's just a smidge better than greenleaf. she thinks she'd rather be cold than feel like shes melting because of the thickness of her fur. still, her nose is so, so cold and her pads feel like they're numb half of the time. her left one being even more numb than it typically is. it's only going to get colder..at least I haven't gotten my paw stuck in snow this season, she muses, an almost silent laugh leaving her.
she's snapped out of her reverie when a familiar voice calls her name (or, a variation of it.) she practically jumps out of her pelt, head snapping to stare at the cat with wide eyes. oh, it's gutsgnaw."oh..gutsgnaw," honestly, bite..confuses her a bit. she's not entirely sure if they're friends, or acquaintances, or simply bonded over that night. she likes to think that she's friends with it, though. her fur lays flat, nerves settling as she processes it's question. a walk. before she can even attempt to prevent them, anxious thoughts flood in her mind— or rather, just one: will there be blood this time, too?
hhhunggh...shut up, brain!, she internally cries out. "s-sure, a..walk s-sounds..good." she nods as she rises from her sitting position. despite her worries, she's actually happy about the offer. she needed to get out of camp. besides, maybe she could find a worthy token of friendship for gutsgnaw while they were out. "do you..like being..a warrior s-so far?" she inquires curiously.
Wormpaw ♣ He / it ♣ Shadowclan apprentice ♣ 10+ moons
Wormpaw furrowed it's brows "ooookay sure!" He said with a nod
"So! Everything starts with your crouch" The apprentice crouched, his paws a shoulder width apart, his tail still and held above the ground "Just like this"
He held the crouch for a moment longer before straightening up and looking towards Shadowkit, checking out his crouch to see if he was doing it right.

So, so tired. Emberkit didn't even stir when her mother left the den, and barely twitched when later a good portion of her siblings slipped out too. It was so cold outside, but so toasty in the Leader's den. Why would she ever move?
But true to form, it wasn't long before Emberkit's siblings started causing a ruckus that made its way up to the hollowed out ridge. Emberkit slowly blinked awake, trilling long and low as he stretched out his tiny (and yet still big for a 4 moon old kitten) legs. Ah, Grottokit. That tom could complain about anything and everything. Emberkit toddled to his paws, making his way meticulously down the ridge and into the camp clearing.
Grottokit was standing in front of what looked to be a floppy, flat stick, wailing at Houndkit (who was hardly paying attention) about ruining it. Emberkit made their way to the gaggle of family, then peered at the strange thing Grottokit was so upset about. It smelled like prey, and based on the bites taken out of it and the pink strip near Mother--Emberkit gently rubbed against Mother's chest as they passed on their way to Grottokit--it was edible.
"Why scream." Emberkit grunted, plopping herself down in front of Grottokit and poking the snake skin curiously. "'Ruined'?"
