welcome to sunflower's kit finder!! as a pre-warning, this post will include themes of miscarriage, post-partum depression, histrionic pregnancy disorder, abandonment of a spouse, and shaming of a pregnant female. if any of these subjects bother you at all, click off now! don't feel guilty, your mental health is way more important than this finder <3

with that aside, i'd like to tell you a bit more about sunflower. she's a new shadowclan queen, joined very recently. she used to be an outsider. sunflower is literally her name- she's bright, sunny, and keeps a happy disposition and smile on her face at all times. for a while after her mother died, she fell into a deep depression, not leaving the makeshift den she had for herself and barely eating. but we'll get more into that in her backstory!

when you wake up next to him in the middle of the night

sunflower was born as an outsider, raised as an outsider.. and her mother died as an outsider. at the time of her mother's death she was around 15 moons, and fell into depression after it. in her depression, she turned to other outsider cats, seeking comfort in becoming mates with some of them. she suffered two miscarriages while an outsider, nearly passing away from the second one. eventually, her desperation for kits caused her to develop histrionic pregnancy disorder.

histrionic pregnancy is a condition based off of histrionic personality disorder. it's a disorder in which the affected is completely convinced they are pregnant, to the point of even developing pregnancy symptoms. this usually occurs from desperation to be pregnant if one cannot.

how did she get these kits? well, after realizing she didn't actually have kits and was fooling herself, sunflower went back into a depressive period and turned back to outsiders. eventually, she got pregnant again. the cat she had gotten pregnant with was disgusted by her, leaving her alone. sunflower feared that if she had another miscarriage, she would pass away, so she turned to a clan for help and joined shadowclan.

hiii !!! i'm finley, and i'm going to yap for a second. you probably know me- i play the well-known riverclan mca cobwebfern and the lesser-known hawkbrave kit crowkit in windclan! i've been on the site for a couple months over a year, and i play sunflower :] the idea for sunflower first came from rani over on the wco discord, actually! the idea of a queen who had suffered so many miscarriages she developed histrionic pregnancy disorder intrigued me, and i decided to begin playing her! the thing is- sunflower has gone through so much, and i've never had a queen.. so i decided to pass on some luck to her and she has unexpectedly got actually pregnant, with a successful pregnancy!

so, what do i want from this? since the pregnancy will be successful, and the first ever kits sunflower will have, she will dote on them endlessly and keep them as safe as humanly possible. i would like them to not go missing! so if there's any chance that that might happen, please refrain from applying to this finder. <3

you will need to be active! i want sunflower's kits to stay active and not go missing!! i don't have hypokits at the moment- so feel free to make your own appearances up! sunflower is pictured above, and the outsider she had been with is a braided brown tabby. these kits will not have a father figure- sunflower will have to raise them on their own. now!! my favorite part!! name ideas!! if you wish, i can pick names, but some ideas are anything related to weather- sun might name her kits rain, cloud, mist, anything of that variety :]

raykit is a sweet boy, always out to make friends and trying their best to lighten up the dark paths they may tread.
despite their name, they adore the rain! it's when the bugs come out and he loves watching them fly or squirm their way around.
they does what they can to endure tough times and always enjoy the normally positive outcomes of their or the clan's hard work.

″ kind words are easy to say, but their echoes always stick around. ″

raykit will try their best not to leave their mother's side at all times, trying to be the best they could be and helpful as they can, always. if she's ill, raykit's gonna get ill too just to be with her. if she's gotta go out on patrol, raykit's trying to sneak out of camp with her.

siblings and friends are their second priority if they can't be with their ma. they'll jump around, try to organise games, scavenger hunts, anything they can to make them be pleased.

if someone hurts you, don't let raykit find out, because there will be tiny and demonic kitten screeches and claws pelting in their direction.

″ people only have one heart so don't break it. ″

as they grow up, raypaw will volunteer for anything and everything they can. who wants to patrol? raypaw. who wants to battle? raypaw. who wants to hunt with me? guess who? raypaw.

but hey, beams of sunlight always find their way through the darkness.

″ think about the present, because that's the only thing you can change, right here, right now. ″

raykit's future held a lot of ideas in my brain from the millisecond you posted the finder including:

• children and love interest finder
• a plot involving bullies and fighting
• a plot involving accidental murder

sun rays take 8 minutes to reach us on earth but it takes years to grow a plant
so why can't we give this ray some fun on its journey?

raykit is scared
raykit is not truly happy at all...

there is always a downside to so much happiness...

raykit has a tendency to overwork themselves to the point of exhaustion.
for as much as they try to be helpful they also have difficulty staying awake some days, in which the day before they have ran around doing errands for everyone they could.

Bramblekit is a kit who prefers to avoid anyone who isn't family, and doesn't really speak around anyone who isn't family either. She will make random off-handed comments if she gets ticked off though, like when a kid says the most WILD things and you have to just process it for a second.
APPRENTICESHIP
As an apprentice, Bramblepaw will probably take a while to actually warm up to whoever her mentor is, and will prefer to go out and train/patrol with siblings. As she learns, her back-handed comments only grow.
WARRIORHOOD
Brambleflicker(possibly) will still only really talk to her family and any friends she may have made. She will get things done though, and has remained protected of her family throughout her entire life. He comments also grew much more... intentional.


RELATIONSHIPS
SUNFLOWER
Bramblekit will have a tendency to stick to her mother's side, though it'll decrease a little as she ages. She'll also seek Sunflower out to talk to anytime she may be really upset about something.
SIBLINGS
Her siblings are the only cats she properly banters with that's not just rude comments. She'll mess with them and such, but is also highly defensive of them.

At some point in apprenticeship, Bramble may find herself jealous of another, cat, maybe even a sibling depending on how things go. But, this jealousy may really affect Bramble, and cause her to be a bit angrier, and push herself more.

As a warrior, Bramble may find herself in a relationship, but uh oh! It's a doomed trope! Which doomed trope will probably be decided in the future, but it will likely involve Bramble unintentionally being bad for the other cat.

This one's simple. Something may happen to someone she cares about, and it may be indirectly, or even directly, her fault, and it will really weigh heavy on her shoulders.

Morningkit doesn't really act like a kit. She is quiet. She acts more mature for the crowd. It's never who she wants to be, it's how they want her to be. She always tries to do her best when someone wants her to do something. She'll struggle with who she is.

"It's not the energy reeling."

When she isn't trying to please everyone, she's most likely chatting with her siblings or close friends. When she isn't struggling, she is very active and playful! It's a rare sight for cats she doesn't interact with, but cats that she's close with are used to it.

"Its not the hunger revealing."

At one point, she stops eating. She just can't. Morningkit can take a few bites of food before throwing up. She has a tiny eating disorder. She can eat normally for a few days then she can't. Her mind swirls and she feels like she's hollow.

"Not what you really wanted."

She gives up. Morning wants to be herself. And she does. She's more social and not awkward now. She gets out more and talks a bunch. She's more silly and open.

Morningkit loves taking walks and sunbathing!!

When she's older, she'll love kits and want her own!

She will be bullied when she's young.
