Floodpaw nodded as Deerspark told him to keep claws sheathed, even though it was common sense. They wouldn't want to harm their own clanmates, anyway. But deerspark moved on and started talking about the main places to attack, the most important ones or the ones that draw the most blood. Their lips curled into a snarl at the mention of Bumblebutt, however. She had knocked him out cold the last time they crossed paths, and he had gotten exiled shortly after. But the tabby apprentice gave the warrior a confused look - three v one? "Whats the three v one? Was it after I was exiled?" the blue gray tabby asked, tilting his head.
The warrior moved on to talking about the places they should aim for - some of which Floodpaw had already lost in battle. The face, he had lost an eye (albiet from a flood, but still), The ears, which he had lost when the thunderrats raided the camp, along with his tail in the same battle. He would have lost his life too, if it wasn't for furbs. Deerspark showed him the scars, and floodpaw could only stand there. Now it made sense why the Thunderclanner would have attacked him at the ears and tail.
The older tom went on to explain how to attack, which was more in the shoulders then paws. The apprentice made a mental note of that for when he would next find himself in battle. And distractions also helped - the one-eyed tabby might have to try that out in the next battle. "Alright, got it," they said, nodding his head. "What else do I need to know?"

Ospreykit waddled over to a warrior who was grooming herself. C-could y-you t-teach me how t-to f-fight? She mewed, embarrassed by her stutter. She only knew one other cat who had it, and she had made friends with her.
