The fluffy she lays sprawled out in her usual spot, resting her muzzle on her paws as she contemplates a trip to the fresh-kill pile. She's simply famished, but so very comfortable where she is right now, it's ever the dilemma. Plus all the cats, crowds definitely aren't her favorite. Stars above, just look at her, so lazy! Briarmask huffs, shaking her head before forcing herself up, determindly setting out for a piece of prey before her anti-social brain can convince her otherwise. After quickly snatching a random piece of prey from the top, she rushes back to her shady little space, not even bothering to look at what she grabbed. But she's not picky anyway, so it should be fine. When she plops back down she sets her newly-retrieved lunch down to study it, a fairly small vole, which is fine because she is only one cat after all.

Echobarley flinched at the sudden anger radiating from his left. Dragonflycliff was being annoyed at this.. Quasar? thing. Whatever it was it had hurt an apprentice. And his apprentice at that. He stopped darting his eyes around and looked fearfully at the sky for a bit. Maybe expecting this thing to come out and fight.
But he didn't think he could see it at the least, so he stopped and gave a worried glance in Ashpaw's direction. "Interesting. Sure, what are ya gonna do?" he beamed, trying to hide some sort of fear.

Ashpaw took a deep breath. “So.. I think I’m gonna help the ghost! After all, it does seem like a Starclan cat and yknow.. Starclan’s really important, huh?” they began, before looking around to all of the cats they were speaking to.
“I was wondering if any of you wanted to help me! It’s good to help others, right? And we’ll probably get something in return, eh?”
Ashpaw stared at the others hopefully. Hopefully none of them would notice the small speck of nervousness in their voice.
Nettlepaw looked at Ashpaw. “You are.. right.. on that.. part..” they agreed hesitantly, trying to mask their unease. “I guess.. I.. could help.” At that moment, they attempted a little awkward smile. However, they could almost see a flash of fear in Ashpaw’s gaze before their sibling resumed an expectant expression towards Echobarley and Dragonflycliff.

Echobarley froze as the older cat suddenly materialised from the side. StarClan he needed to get better at spotting cats. "This is my apprentice, Mountaintalon. I was about to take Ashpaw for training but they wanted to talk. So I talked too, then Dragonflycliff came along." he said, then faced Ashpaw for a few seconds with a sort of pleading look. "Also, look at their face. Maybe you should have been here for the whole conversation."

“Yes, they’re right. I don’t think you.. understand! Yes. You might not have.. uh.. heard everything? I think? Uhm.. please.. just.. uh.. I don’t mean to meddle in anything, really I just want to help..” they stuttered. If they couldn’t gather support for The Quasar, they would be as good as dead. As for Nettlepaw..
Ashpaw feared what would happen to them if this didn’t work.
Nettlepaw stared at Ashpaw in shock, then back at Mountaintalon. They felt terrible for their sibling, but felt nothing towards Mountaintalon. They weren’t scared. They were angry.
“You.. how.. dare you. Ashpaw is.. trying.. their.. best. We aren’t.. warriors. We.. just want.. to help. Especially.. since.. Ashpaw.. is still.. new to.. Thunderclan. Is helping.. your.. ancestors.. really.. such a.. bad thing?” they snapped at Mountaintalon, before their eyes widened. Nettlepaw backed away. They shouldn’t have said that. THEY SHOULDN’T HAVE SAID THAT.
The green-eyed apprentice looked over at the other cats sharply, fear in their gaze.

At this rate, Rosekit should be named deputy, leader, medicine cat, and whatever else there is because she was doing such a good job keeping everyone in line while Miss Bumbastar finished her fit. Yes, and that was how when her tiny kitten ears caught wind of someone using the 'ohhh you're in trouble' voice, she was first... uhh fifth on the scene. "No worries! Rosekit is here and she will deal with all trouble makers immediately!" She huffed out haughtily, stepping right in between the twins and the warrior, "Yes, I think that... the warrior must be right because he's older and knows more- well not more than me, because I'm special- but better than you." The kitten concludes without any idea what was said and why. "SO Rosekit declares you two apprentices hereby EXILED! And if you don't leave now, I will have your heads!"

And I believe for you to question me while you sit here doing nothing of consequnce is also quite hypocritical."
Back to the apprentices. "The dead have died," he rumbled. "They have access to power beyond your imaginations. If they are asking for your help, they are either not worth the trouble, or they are lying to you. As soon-to-be ThunderClan warriors, your duty is to your living Clan - not the deceased spirits of your ancestors."
He gestured toward the camp's entrance. "If you wish to gossip about things that have no impact on your Clan, then at least do so when contributing to hungry queens and kits. We are recovering from a devastating illness; if you do not wish to aid in that recovery, then you are dead weight. If you would all join me for a hunt, then we will all be doing our duties, won't we?"
Oh dear. A child. Mountaintalon cast Rosekit an unamused look and sighed. "Yes," he said flatly. "I am afraid if we do not leave now, then this fearsome creature may have all of our heads. Let's go."

"I don't know about you but I actually trust StarClan. Maybe then this cat Ashpaw met has something important to tell us."
She flicked her tail, standing up and stretching a paw, yawning. Fine then, Mountaintalon, you'll get your way today. Fine she'll go hunt but on her own. She turned and walked another way and waited for the others to leave, not before Echobarley tried to drag her. "Let go." she growled, but he wouldn't stop, so she turned and followed him to Mountaintalon, not before hissing wordlessly at Echobarley and Mountaintalon.

Echobarley (jokingly. he wasn't scared of a kit.) shuddered at Rosekit's threat. He looked at the clearly-not-in-an-amazing-mood Dragonflycliff then at Mountaintalon who was leaving the camp and making him hunt too? He didn't even do anything!!
Dragonflycliff seemed to walk the wrong way, and after some failed attempts to drag her convincing, he got her to listen to reason. Reason being Mountaintalon.
