Stagheart nodded; Owlstar's points were fair, and her offering to train Daisypaw herself on self-defense was both an honor and relief. He dipped his head respectfully, submitting to her words and thinking them over for a moment before responding. He was grateful that RiverClan's new leader had a good head on her shoulders; he'd respected her as deputy, and it seemed even now she did well with offering a balanced perspective between logic and kindness. Probably much better than many others.
"I know she can't hide forever... that's what I'm worried 'bout," he agreed with a huff, furrowing his whisker brows in thought. "But I like whatcha said. 'N it'd be an honor for both me 'n her if you could teach her anything you know or come up with. I'm sure she'd be real appreciative, too."
Regarding camp confinement or not, Stagheart hummed in thought, tail flicking. "Camp confinement would rest my mind easier, though not hers. I do agree witcha it'd be easiest, but if she wanted or had to go out, then she'd have to get a warrior or two wit' her. Somethin' like that. I trust your lead on this, Owlstar — I ain't much good in these sorts of situations. I only know huntin', fightin', 'n killin' when need be." His whiskers twitched in dry amusement of that blunt yet accurate remark. "If you think that'd be best, I'm with ya on it. You just tell me if you see anythin' that needs changin' for either me or Daisy, 'n I'll do my best with what I've got."

Nightweb dipped his head respectfully as he entered the den. "Owlstar, is there anything I could do to help around the clan? Patrols, extra training? Its just...," he paused for a moment, to consider his words. "I haven't been so helpful and don't really have anything to do and I don't wanna see like a lazy clanmate or anything," Nightweb says with a blink of his eyes. He didn't want to seem rude or selfish and he did in fact love helping out in anyway possible. Plus, anything would get him out of his nest.
Amber eyes strained to see past lichen, making out the blur of features that was the begal, Brokenstream. Pleased but also slightly anxious to see a familiar face, Owlstar perked up and addressed the Head Lionheart. "Aye, chap. C'mon in, what's eatin' ya?"

"Hi, Owlstar." He mewed with a friendly blink. "Don't worry, it's nothing too serious." The tom said with a chuckle. "First, I want you to know that the burden of leadership isn't only yours to bear. The Lionheart team, and the whole of RiverClan, is here to back you." He said earnestly, giving his friend a sympathetic look. "Speaking of the Lionheart team..."
Brokenstream looked awkward for a second, as if he wasn't sure he should ask, but quickly came to the determination that as Head Lionheart it only made sense that he had a say. Besides, he doubted Owlstar would tell him "no" without a valid reason. She was level-headed, as far as he's seen from his friend. "I would like to discuss reinstating Duskleaf and Rowanmane to the team." He said firmly, taking a seat in front of the RiverClan leader. "I know Duskleaf made a mistake, but I believe he has learned from it and enough time has passed." He looked thoughtful for a moment. "As for Rowanmane, I do believe more time needs to pass, but I have taken great note of the lengths he's been going to for our Clan since his blunder, and I do believe he understands the gravity of his mistake as well." It was clear Brokenstream thought highly of the two former Lionhearts, but still understood that he wasn't the only one who would need swaying. After he finished speaking, he felt as if a weight was lifted off of his shoulders. No cat could say he didn't try, and he didn't falter in his trust that Owlstar would be fair in her decision either way.
"Also...another thing." At this, the tom appeared resolute, green eyes flashing. "I would like to request a name change."
He could do this. He. Could. DO THIS. Because he was awesome and cool and he DESERVED IT actually, and if she said no then he was going to go straight to Almondchatter to complain! Yeah! And then they could both talk very loudly at the den entrance until Owlstar caved.

This piece of prey was far heavier than she had originally expected. Bitterhive’s jaws remained clutched around the piece of prey that she had hunted while out in the territory, the fur around her legs still slick from the water splashing onto her chest. The dark molly had swerved her way through the camp entrance and departed her way towards the leader’s den, stopping in front of it to observe the den before making any movements. It should’ve been a good thing that she hadn’t gone over to the leader’s den yet to speak with the leader personally, but then again, she hadn’t truly decided to look at the den for a closer inspection herself. Not that it mattered, but curiosity decided to waft its way into her system and she wanted to momentarily observe before deciding to make any abrupt movements. Pupils narrowing and feathered tail lashing, the smoke braided tabby placed the deceased fish in front of the den and swiped her tongue across her teeth to clear away stray scales that clung to her canids. “Owlstar,” she called, her tone carrying it’s usual notable bluntness as she stared ahead into the den. “I wish to speak with you for a moment about some things I have in mind, if you have the time.”

There was a lot of things that was buzzing around in Adderstrike's mind and she had to let them out. So once everything was settled down after getting home from the gathering she walked over to the leader's den. Her ideas she had were given a snowball's chance in hell of being listened to but maybe it would come to Owlstar's mind again when it seemed like there was no other choice....
So she poked her head inside of the leader's den. "Owlstar, may I speak to you?"
Truth be told, Primroseadder wasn't happy. Cobwebstorm had been doing a great job as a RiverClan Medicine Cat, and Owlstar had decided to tear the position away from her---ripped it right from underneath her paws---on the word of the ThunderClan Leader, Bumblestar.
The warrior stopped at the entrance to Owlstar's den, her tail tip twitching to-and-fro. She needed to bring this up to her leader; if she didn't, others would. ''Owlstar, may I speak with you?''
Primroseadder suspected that her quiet voice would tell the light-brown she-cat that she was upset about something. Good. Maybe Owlstar needed to know that her warriors were upset.

Owlstar regarded Stagheart and his words. She understood the camp confinement thing, and his requests, so she nodded. "Whenever she goes out, I'll make sure a warrior is present. And, regarding her own self defense, I'll try ta talk ta 'er at some point. Ya did say her conditions gettin' better, yeah? What can she do without sprainin' an ankle?" she didn't want to push the apprentice too hard, limits were what kept cats safe most times.
"On that note, I'll try ta teach 'er any skills I deem useful, like camp reinforcement. Sure there's more she can do to help out along the clan beyond regular apprentice duties." Owlstar pointed out, her mind churning. "Does she have any notable interests herself? Maybe I can latch onta that." she recommended. How exactly depended on what said interest or skill was, but it was worth a shot.

Owlstar tilted her head at the warrior. "Yeah, yer on the right track, chap. In times like these though, I'd appreciate if ya were ta go huntin' or host an event. If ya wanna keep yerself busy, I ain't stoppin' ya. Long as ya don't cause problems fer us." it wasn't exactly a hard criteria to meet, being a warrior, an active one at least.
"Try n' look fer apprentices who lack trainin'. It ain't hard." Owlstar chewed on her own words. Darn... She'd forgotten to reassign Eagelpaw, hadn't she? No matter, she'd deal with it at the next meeting. Would this mark a month in the game for her? Only two more and she would've been around for as long as Stormstar was. A thought that made her gut twist.
"That's all I got fer ya, includin' what cha stated yerself. Volunteerin' fer anythin' is a good way ta not look like a bump on a log."

His opening statement was enough to make her relax, if not slightly. She knew no bad news would come to her, at least nothing terrible. After blunder after blunder she was looking forward to something new. Ah, Lionheart requests.
Her interest was, of course, granted as the tom spoke, fur filled ears twitching after nearly every word. Two good requests. She was hoping Rowanmane could join the ranks once more, as well as Duskleaf. Both had been quite helpful regarding the deaths that swept their clan. "What 'bout Seabreeze? Figured he's more mentally stable now, and nicely active 'round the clan." she pointed out with a gesturing of her paw. "But, I have no objections. We need more Lionhearts, and the chaps you've requested ain't far from my own thoughts."
A name change? Owlstar perked. "Hm... Unexpected, don't cha think?" she teased, a smile wrinkling her features. "Of course, whatcha got? As long as it ain't somethin' completely stupid."

Owlstar lifted herself from her mossbed slightly, peering through lichen before the warrior stuck his furry head into her den. She offered him an acknowledging glance and a wave of her tail, beckoning him inside. "Figured it important, yeah? Whatcha need?"

Owlstar turned to the entrance of her den, ears perking as amber flashed behind a veil of lichen. "Yeah, what's goin' on, Adderstrike?" she addressed the she-cat by name, picking absentmindedly at her mossbed.
