Featherpaw followed behind Mudhaze, and followed him to Sedgewater Valley. Stay with him? Fine with her. When they got to the border, she stayed close, but marked the border the best she could. Oh a WindClan patrol? Interesting. She watched silently.
"Oh, lucky me." The spotted tabby growled, not hesitating to walk away from that excuse for a cat that squaked like a wild hen. He padded around, looking for trouble. "Any 'a the rabbits around?!" He called out, like that would magically summon a Windclan warrior.

"Mmhm, no problem-" Porcupinequill nodded before that undeniable reek of fish hit his nose like a monster. "Ugh, must be riverclans goons. They never stop, do they?" He asked sarcastically, walking away, only to run into the other side of the patrol.
ughhhhh. why. just absolutely why. floodpaw barley had time to get up and get out before stupid mudhaze took off. the small tabby rushed after them, trailing behind them until they came to the border. and then the cat's mentor started bossing everyone around. why were they so ANNOYING???? the one-eyed riverclanner gritted his teeth, opening his mouth to speak once the younger tom finished. "Mudhaze, can you just stop being an asshole for one minute?! And try not to harass WindClan, we have had enough problems with them," floodpaw growled, the last part applying to all the cats.
The small apprentice stalked over to the border, marking it in multiple spots before the stench of WindClan hit. ew. "WindClan!" floodpaw called out to the patrol in warning, quickly scurrying back to his mentor. "lets mark the border and get out of here," they muttered, lashing their half-tail.

Look who FINALLY showed up! Mudhaze blinked rapidly at Floodpaw as his apprentice appeared behind him, then scowled and practically deflated. "ohhhhh my starsssss you are such a KILL JOY. I'm not DOING ANYTHING! Go gripe at a rock and leave me be!"
and then- oh boy. OH BOY. WINDCLAN! Mudhaze swung around to face the other side of the ravine, eyes wide and sparkling as if he'd just stumbled onto an incredible opportunity. Which he HAD, actually, because look!! "Oi!" he called across the ravine, bouncing forward a few steps until his toes met the edge of the fall. "OI! YOU RABBITS! WHAT'RE YOU DOING OVER THERE!? EVERYTHING- uh- EVERYTHING ALL RABBIT-Y??"

apologies for double-notif, couple of important things and didn't want to double post. first off the beaver patrol rp and this patrol rp aren't being merged, they take place separately and it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for this patrol to have not already noticed the beaver.
pineswipe and porcupinequill are also still a-okay, nothing's been said about needing to be specifically assigned to the border and they're playing by the buddy system so they shouldn't be in trouble for just being at Sedgewater. so we're good to carry on as usual o/ @Snowyfeathr @FANNIBAL @Purely_K2 @Beaan ]

Pineswipe scoffed at the calico. "Is that really all you think of us?" Then, with a hint of mischief in his eyes, he continued. "Well, I guess you are all just 'fish eaters', then." He stood tall, disguising his limp as much as he could. He needed to act strong for Windclan.
Fleetsmoke's eyes narrowed, and she gave a flick of her tail tip. The signal.
The WindClanner launched forward out of the heather and lashed out at the beaver's face, claws extended as far as they would go. They sliced the patrol's opponent's nose, then its cheek. It snapped at her with its sharp teeth, but Fleetsmoke was too quick. She ducked, just barely managing to avoid a nasty bite to her unscarred shoulder.
''Avoid the beaver's teeth!'' Fleetsmoke called out to her patrolmates, darting in again to sink her teeth into the beaver's leg and darting out just as quickly.

He let out a breathly snort and prepared to spring anyways. Before he was able to go on his own, the signal was made. Well great, now it seems like he takes orders from her. Falconbeak hissed but raced towards the beavers side and lashed a unsheathed claw towards his side. He was taken about by the slick and smooth fur, it was like fighting a smaller Riverclan cat. As Fleetsmoke called out the warning he managed to hop backwards just as the beaver attempted to bite him. "Can't these things stay on the other side of the border." he groaned before striking it with another claw.

At the signal, Birchfawn leapt and clung to the Beaver's back with all of his paws, snapping his teeth down on its ear - hard. He felt the beaver bucking and twisting around trying to get him off, but he clung on like a stubborn burr.
Porcupinequill sneered and turned his nose up. "God, you trout never know how to quit. Do you?" He hissed before turning to his clanmate. "Hey, let's just ignore them, to see how mad they get." (Sorry for the short response)

Featherpaw stood back and watched silently, not sure what to do. She didn't want a fight to break out, but the situation seemed tense.. And of a fight DID break out, what would she do? She didn't know how to fight! She continued standing back, watching silently.
DuckFeather lunged at the beaver, striking its side before getting whipped away. It wasn’t bad though, and the lung-damaged cat quickly stood to strike again. It was odd, this uncommon predator was stronger and larger than herself. Not fair. As DuckFeather went to strike again (with the beaver stuck under BirchFawn) it suddenly broke through. DuckFeather tried to jump away but…a pain caught her. The beavers teeth dug into her scruff and she whined in pain. But it wasn’t done. It was trying to leave with her, and there wasn’t much the small warrior could do. DuckFeather tried to dig her paws to the ground, slash and claw at it…ineffective. No-no too close to the rushing water- NO. Then the solid ground went from under her and she plunged into cold, quickly being dragged from her home…her head bobbed up and down…then who knows where she went.
