Rosekit allowed the paw handling but at the same time she internally winced at the idea of some stranger warrior's likely dirty paws on her pelt even for the barest fraction of a second. She worked hard to keep her appearances up, for first impressions sake. Why does it matter what you are capable of, if you show you don't care about yourself or how you represent your appearance. The skill was good, but the presentation and skill was amazing. "Yes, of course. I didn't see the purpose of my claws when we aren't hunting real prey yet." But she unsheathed them anyways, she wasn't so dumb as to not know how to, thanks. Her tail was already off the floor, not wanting it to drag and collect any dust or stray dirty stuff, so she was ahead on that part of her posture. "Should I try pouncing now?"

Rosekit

Rosekit caught the nod of approval out of the corner of her eye, and took it as a cue to focus completely on hunting. She would rather that the warrior demonstrate how she was supposed to do it first and then had her mimic to her best ability so that she wouldn’t humiliate herself getting it completely wrong on her first go through. Whatever, beggars can’t be choosers as they say. She could only hope that Tigerpelt was not assigned as her mentor during the next meeting.

She wiggled her haunches just a little bit, making barely noticeable changes to her hind paws’ positions before she leapt forward, claws outstretched as the kit planned to land with the pinecone beneath her paws. She landed about halfway on the mark, and landed heavily. On paw had slapped down on the pinecone while the other one landed to the side. It still would’ve been caught at least, if at least one of her paws could hold it down.

“How was that?” She questioned the warrior, turning her blue-grey eyes onto Tigerpelt suddenly after staring at the pinecone for a moment.

Mistlepaw and Minnowtail wandered around.

Tigerpelt nodded with a purr. "That was great. If it were a animal, it would have definitely substance injury or maybe even death," his voice lower at the last word. He stared at the pinecone, now almost completely crushed.

Nettlepaw nodded, even though Mistwhisper hadn’t actually confirmed their assumption about the she-cat. Well, that was a problem for a later time. They smiled, before nodding and walking towards the camp entrance, waiting for Mistwhisper to come.
