IRISLEAF KITS

For those of you who don't know, this will be the first litter born to Irisdream (RPed by me) and Duskleaf (RPed by @Seamrog) of RiverClan. This has been a relatively long time coming, and I hope you all are ready for this!

In case you are still in the dark and have no idea who I'm talking about, please be sure to read up on Irisdream and Duskleaf at their respective bios!

Appearance!

I'm no genetics expert, but thankfully we've both got pretty details descriptions!

Irisdream is a pale silvery/icy blue-gray she-cat with soft, thick, and lush fur. Though she is not long-haired. She has a white underbelly, blue-gray sock on left hind leg, white toes, darker blue-gray mark on her head, small white blaze, white ring around base of her tail, white-tipped ears, white eye dots, various shades of blue-gray on her tail, and her eyes are a very deep, dark blue. She is lean and silky, but not wiry.

Duskleaf is a dark grey tom with some areas of lighter grey. His fur is always a little bit messy in appearance. He has deep green eyes and medium-length fur that catches onto leaves. He also has a lighter stripe going from his head to his tail, two lighter stripes going from his jaw to underneath his eyes, and a long patch of lighter grey going from his chest to his belly.

Neither are bigger or smaller than average.

These kits will also have an older half-sister, Kitepaw (RPed by me), who is Irisdream's daughter from her previous relationship. They have a grandfather (Blizzardoak, listed on Irisdream's bio), but he has gone missing due to inactivity. They will also have family in ThunderClan, as Duskleaf is half-ThunderClan. Living ThunderClan kin include Mintwhisper (silver tabby with bright green eyes) who is Duskleaf's biological mother and Snakefang (brown tabby with bright green eyes) who is Duskleaf's biological sister. Reedclaw (deceased) was Duskleaf's biological father. Reedclaw had the same green eyes and colors of fur as his son, though his fur was a bit thicker though and he had stripes of light grey throughout.

Blizzardoak, Mintwhisper, and Reedclaw would be the kind who's genetics have an impact on the kit's appearance! Other than the parents of course.

Names!

This is a fun part right?! What names do these parents enjoy?? Well, you're about to find out...this litter has a theme!

Survey says the theme is . . . . .

I know. Shocking. But all the kits will be named after flowers and plants!

**It is important to note that Irisdream has clinical OCD, which does have a genetic component with the potential pass on any clinical anxiety disorder to her kits. Kitepaw has social anxiety and generalized anxiety. This does not mean your kit HAS to have anxiety, just important to note!**

how they will be raised

Well, both parents are currently Lionhearts! So this may have an impact on how they're raised. While Irisdream is working on confronting her anxieties, she still struggles. So she will likely start out trying to instill good manners and behavior in her kits. She will be easily overwhelmed by bad or loud behavior at first, but over time she will adjust and become a calm and gentle parent. She wants to establish a close bond with these kits, as her and Kitepaw have a strained relationship. So this will also make her overprotective, overly cautious, and a bit of a "helicopter parent", especially early on.

Duskleaf will be acting as a buffer, he is currently the only cat able to talk Irisdream down when she gets in her own head. They will be co-parenting these kiddos, so the goal is that this will create a more balanced upbringing.

What form? There is no form! We want to see creativity and effort as these are an important ship for us!

Columbinekit is someone who needs everything to go the way she thinks it would go. Well... Not needs. Wants. No, no, no. She needs everything to go the way she wants it to. If it doesn't she'll.... Uhhhh... Die. Yeah, die.

"It's the same one saying that I can't make it"

If it wasn't obvious, Columbinekit is very, very, very exaggerated. She overcomplicates things and makes strong and bold statements that are obviously not true. She overreacts all the time, and is dramatic and emotional. Like a swing.
... If it was broken in 10 different places.

She is just... For a lack of better words... All over the place.

Columbinekit is always trying to do everything at once, and gets pouty and frustrated when she faces the consequences of doing so. But despite it, she never seems to stop. Does she ever learn? Well, that's the thing. She often forgets what happened the last time she did the same thing, and does it again. And what happens? The exact same thing. Shock. But now she just seems like a dumb and scatterbrained goofball. There are some things she is good at.

Basically anything she wants. Keyword, wants. If Columbinekit manages to get hooked onto a specific interest, it is quite hard to bring her out of it. And whatever it is, she'll learn to master. No matter what. Dedication? Natural talent? Who knows? Nobody can figure her out. Not even Columbinekit herself!

"How do you get out of your head?"

This sweet (and crazy) gal is also not the best at reading the room. She often makes unnecessary jokes at the wrong times, and says things without meaning to. Speaking of jokes, she also loves to make fun. Not of other cats, but of herself. She's not insecure! Oftentimes she'd call herself adopted or Irisdream and Duskleaf's fake child because she doesn't really look like them. She loves to make up stuff just to get others to laugh, even if it means sliiiiightly overexaggerating a story. Okay, maybe a lot exagerrating. But hey! The more intense and chaotic the story is, the more entertaining it is, no?

She never seems to stop being her chaotic self, even when told to. She tries, really! But sometimes things are wayyyy too funny to stop laughing at! Can't a warrior apprentice kit have fun?

"Telling yourself you won't make it"

She's usually no thinking, just doing, but at very rare occasions, she will suddenly be hyper aware of what she is doing. Every movement, every word that comes out her mouth, every thought that she thinks. She notices every look that is thrown in her direction. She notices everyone's movements. She overthinks. What if they're silently judging her? Should she stop talking? Should she stop moving? What would they say if she says this, does that, and would they even care????

The very next minute she's back to her happy, prancing self.

"And second nature is to second guess"

She gets extremely frustrated when nobody listens to or understands her. No explanation needed. She's just very petty. Rude? Of course not! Just... Really demanding at times. That's not rude! It's not rude to constantly want attention?
... Maybe..?

Or when you burn every bridge before you cross

Columbinekit would grow to become very... Superstitious.

She doesn't learn her lessons, but sure is prickly about bad luck. And don't you dare try to change her mind because she is a sore loser. She's never wrong! Just look at it! Being just near it gives you a sense of dread, doesn't it? Huh? What do you mean it's "just a stick"??? LOOK AT IT! LOOK AT IT HARDER!!!

Riverkit
Riverkit is a small white tom with his left side all black paws (and legs) and right side all grey paws and legs! Riverside has big blue curious eyes and is a cute little quiet munchkin
Riverkit is quite, observant. And quite closed of unless with his parents. Riverkit has a undying hate (as he gets older) for selfishness.

Though Riverkit will get older and become more tolerable, due to his closed off personality he's going to always almost have his eyes hooded so he can see but you can barely see his eyes open and a small smile always on his face, due to the way he is, a lean yet muscular tom, this will make his face always serious and a bit menacing which is what he'll grow self concious of, making him grow into the small smile that alwas remains.

Only opening them when serious or in malice. Riverkit is a sleepy tom with a little spark for fighting, learning fast and killing ahh I meant hunting for his clan.

Other Name Options: Rainbowkit, Myrtlekit
Future names: Orchidpaw, Orchiddrop/Rainbowwisp/Orchidflower/Myrtledance
Gender & Pronouns: Trans Female (MtF), She/They
Appearance: Pure silver fur with a long, dark grey sock on her back leg. She has blue stripes running down from her eyes to her jaw, which look like tear lines. Bright green eyes, short fluffy tail, and unusually long whiskers.
(Face markings are somewhat based off of the third hypokitty)

Personality: She is a bit Bipolar, with two sides. She only switches to her second side when she is mad, though. One side is quiet, peaceful, kind to everyone, and doesn't talk all that much. When something aggravates her (this is her other side-), however, she is loud, rather rude, brutally honest, and cold. Both ways, however, she has a habit of apologizing for no reason. She loves to swim, and can often be found just wallowing in the water. (I plan to purchase the 'Go With The Flow' Purrk for her if she's accepted). She has slight social anxiety, and will not immediately go over and introduce herself to people. Unless she's mad. Then she will make her presence known, very creatively.

Irisdream (Mother): She loves her mother, though she can sometimes get annoyed at her because Irisdream is always hovering around her.
Duskleaf (Father): Orchidkit thinks he's very sweet, and a good balance for Iris. She likes to listen to water sounds with him, especially when she's stressed, as she also finds the sound of waves relaxing.
Siblings: Depends on her siblings' personalities, and how they treat her.
Kitepaw: She thinks she's a bit odd, and wonders why she seems so distant. However, Orchidkit also really respects her and quietly observes what she's doing.

She is a spoiled acting kit. She acts like she's on top of the world, and she's got the best of everything. Best parents, best food, best mentor, etc. She thinks she's the favorite, and the best at everything. She doesn't like it at all when somecat has a different idea than her, and she'll shut it down immediately. She always has fake rumors to share with her siblings and friends. But when somecat bullies her friends or family, she'll get aggressive and stand tall. She hates when any cat turns her down.

She'll tell this to her parents or siblings, but they won't stick up for her because they know it's the truth. As an apprentice, she'll start to understand that she's not supposed to act like this. When she becomes a warrior, she'll be matured, but she'll start lacking behind and being unmindful of what she needs, and instead pushing herself to the limits to help others over herself. When somecat brings it up to her, she'll wave it away and work harder, until she's strained and injured from working so hard.
