Despite her flirtatious nature, he saw loyalty in her. He refused to believe anything else. "Our kits will be amazing", he murmured to her, chuckling softly to himself as he imagined miniature versions of him and his mate. These kits were going to complete his life. They would be the perfect family. A mother, a father, and kits. The perfect picture. Too bad that would end eventually. "I'm sure everyone else will be jealous of how perfect our kits will be", he said, a small smirk resting on his maw. Wouldn't it just be so funny, seeing other toms with jealous expressions sprawled across their faces. Toms that had thought they might've had a thing with Illusion. Hades liked making other cats jealous, he just didn't like being jealous himself. The egyptian mau didn't like showing he had any weaknesses. And he certainly did. Illusion. He kept their relationship secret for he didn't want anything bad to happen. He just wondered if Illusion had let their secret spill.

Illusion accepted the nuzzle and returned it with her own. The fluffy she-cat let out her own soft purrs and listened to Hades purrs. Soon enough they'd be in the nursery and dealing with kits. That would take her time up easily, however she wasn't sure what Hades would be doing. Surely he'd come and help and visit as often as he could, but she wouldn't deny the tom's independence when it came down to it. "They'll be perfect indeed," she murmured back, happily. Illusion's optics looked over her mate, thinking of something else to say. "So any names already come to mind?" she gave a small chuckle as she pulled away from Hades, her tail swishing in the air as she began to normal routine of padding around the other cat.

Hades pale green gaze followed Illusion as she once again circled around him over and over. Her question made him frown in thought. He hadn't really thought about any possible names. He didn't really mind what they named the kits, he would love them no matter what. Of course, he would never express that in public. Hades couldn't show he had any weaknesses. It would set his reputation and family in danger. "No, I haven't", Hades admitted, ducking his head to give his chest a few licks. He'd kind of forgotten that they would need names for their kits. "Have you?", He asked in a curious tone. Illusion must've thought of something. If she hadn't, he didn't really care, they would think of something. He wanted their names to be something strong. To show power and defiance to the Syndicate. Wouldn't it just make him so proud if one of his kits could one day rule the Syndicate.

Illusion paused in front of Hades as her optics scanned over the tom. Finally she blinked and let out a small sigh. "I haven't thought of anything yet either, however, I think I'll just wait until they're born to name them. Their names must suite them after all," The alabaster she-cat let out a small purr and settled herself down. She was laying on the cold ground with her fore legs tucked under her comfortably and her tail curled up to her side. She looked like a cotton ball the way she laid. Illusion broke her stare away from Hades and towards the clearing as she studied other cats. It was fairly empty, she assumed most cats were out in the territory, so she didn't have much to look at. "I haven't talked to a healer about them, I don't know what they'll be born," she spoke quietly, not looking at Hades when she spoke. Instead she was staring towards the healers den, her ears pricked, listening. Being a first time mother and not being around too many pregnant cats here, she had no idea what to expect or how long she needed to wait. She just knew that from her weight gain and her rounding stomach that she was expecting.

Hades gazed looked down as Illusion settled herself down on the ground. He copied her and sat down next to her, cuddling up to her. He ducked his head down so he could lower the chance of anyone recognise him. His ears perked up as he heard her mention not having seen a healer yet. "You really should see a healer. We don't need anything to go wrong", Hades said with concern flashig in his pale green hues. Everything needed to go perfect. Hades wasn't a fan of imperfection. If he had the power to, he would never allow anything to go wrong with Illusion's pregnancy. Unfortunately, he didn't. The most he could really do was convince her to go see a healer. Lifting his head up, he pressed his muzzle to the back of the alabaster's ear before licking it. He stayed like that for a moment, breathing in the comforting scent of Illusion. The beautiful she-cat was the only treasure he had in the Syndicate. Everything else was just imperfect. Hades believed his mate and him were the most perfect thing in the Dusk Syndicate. Any other was just below average for him. Nothing else met his expectations.

Illusion let out a soft purr as Hades pressed up against her. Despite her thick pelt, she could still feel his warmth and appreciated it in that moment. The Angora mix opened her mouth in a wide yawn now. Since she realized she was expecting, she'd figured out why she'd been much more tired that she had before and the extra warmth didn't help in that moment, nor did the gentle lick on her ear. "I'll get around to it.... maybe," she teased lightly, however the tease was serious in her mind. She wasn't sure she'd even see an healer to begin with, she was just going to go with it and hope for the best. Her optics closed halfway as she turned her head and drew her own tongue over his cheek and between his eyes in a loving fashion. As her pink tongue rasped his fur, she pressed up against him a little more. "They'll be perfect no matter what," she assured with a small pause from the grooming before carrying on.

Slowly, she crawled out, her shoulders brushing the top, the fur being wetted by the bits of snow that clung and melted. Finally, she emerged, eyes pursed to a slit to filter out the blindingly bright light. Slowly, they adjusted, and she could see the whole of the clearing, quiet and peaceful in the early morning, a rarity for the turbulent existence of the syndicate. She let out a slight sigh of relief, the scarce amount of cats a weak comfort. She gave her fur a quick shake, icy crystals falling to the ground. She gave the glade a quick scan, and spotted a molly pacing back and forth, restlessly. A bit of curiosity igniting witching her, Skipper trotted towards the she-cat, red ears held erect. "Are you alright?" she asked, tail twitching slightly as she awaited an answer.

Seeing the she-cat approach, Talon was tempted to snarl at Skipper to make her leave. The fighter needed to find peace with herself before she could answer any of Skipper's questions. Talon kept her features steady as she looked over the newcomer. "Come to join my pacing party?" the fighter quieried Skipper, her eyes in somewhat of a haze.
As the she-cat asked Talon her question, her ears folded back defensively, but soon returned to their normal appearance. "It's odd how cats who live in the Syndicate don't realize that it is a stressful life," Talon remarked coldly, not quite regretting her decision of her attitude toward the cat. The fighter let out a long sigh, tears boiling in her amber eyes; exasperated.

Skipper lashed her tail, mouth twisting with displeasure; she hated overly emotional cats, especially ones who seconded guessed their life in the syndicate. And it was even worse that it was a fighter- if Talon even faltered in battle? It could spell disaster for their entire group, and severe injury for Talon herself. She let out a drawn out, exasperated sigh, rolling her eyes and flicking her tail. "No, it's not stressful. We do what we do to survive, and to live. And I think your "pacing party" is useless- please, just go do something worthwhile. Or at least don't be ridiculous, really," Skipper mewled, her tone sarcastic and snippy, colored be inherent dislike of those who complained. Her ears flattened and she scowled widely, teeth flashing a milky white as she pulled back her lips slightly in a partial snarl that only augmented how bothered she was. Her whipcrack temper had already flared, a reflex that she had developed after being hurt time after time. She glared at Talon, feeling suspicion rising in her, despite it being unwarranted.

Re: Dusk Syndicate Clearing
Tundra padded into the clearing, her fur ruffled and yellow-green eyes tired yet alert. It was clear for someone to see from afar she was limping. The siberian she-cat had just been training outside in territory by herself, using a small, thin tree as an enemy. It had all gone pretty well, she had given the tree enough kicks that she had nearly pushed the thin trunk over. Unfortunately for her, she just had to trip over a root and crash into a harder, stronger, thicker tree, giving herself a massive bruise on her leg. She limped over to a quite spot in the clearing, not wanting to be bothered. If anyone walked up to her, she would talk, but if no one didn't.... Tundra sat as she sat down, sticking her bruised leg out to avoid hurting it.

Re: Dusk Syndicate Clearing
@Empress Of Evil
A she-cat lay in the brush. Her short, spotted pelt shivering as a long, cold breeze hit her long, powerful body. The female let out a hiss as she curled up closer to the bush she lay beneath. She had been watching this cat in the clearing for a bit. Her yellowish- green orbs watching his every move. It was a habit of hers to "stalk" other felines. Leopard didn't like to use the word "stalk" per say because stalking was used for prey, and this tom was not her prey. She just liked to observe other cats. She learned from them. If he or she made a mistake, then Leopard would reflect upon her sightings if she ever encountered a similar situation. The leopard pelted fighter densed her muscles up as she stepped one small paw out from under the bush. She then followed up with her other small paw.
Once the female was out of the undergrowth, she circled around a large oak tree. Leopard poked her head out from the other side of the tree as her medium- large eyes watched the male intently. He was nothing special. This cat was just a normal, everyday male. The she-cat didn't really care for toms. She saw them as all the same. They wanted heirs. They all wanted heirs to carry on their legacy that they had failed to leave before they died. She smirked at these thoughts as she flicked her tail tip and continued to slither behind the tree trunk.
Leopard wiggled her nose as to see if she could pick up a scent. she caught to many scents at once form the other rats, that were really cats in the clearing. She really wasn't a mean cat, but she tended to "insult", well more like give nicknames to the other felines in her group. The female let out a low growl, barely heard with a normal cat's ears. "Not good," she muttered, "Not good," she whispered again. She tended to repeat words or phrases that caught her attention. She licked her lips as she showed her sharp fangs.
Leopard refocused her hues on the tom as she sat down now next to the tree. She tilted her head at him wondering if he would care to meet her. Most cats didn't want to talk to her due to her weird and strange behavior. However, the other cats seemed to accept psychopaths, but not her. She learned to block out the feelings she used to feel of being rejected. She had observed and learned. She had learned to not feel what she didn't want to.

Re: Dusk Syndicate Clearing
@ KitKat12
Forest sat quietly. For the time being, she was keeping herself tucked away in the corner, not wanting to see, or be seen by her mentor. If only her father was around to help. She talked to him easiest, so he would be of great help at the moment. Unfortunately he had gone out earlier on a border patrol. With a sigh, Forest let her pale green hues wander around the clearing. She saw a few other cats and picked up small words of conversation. Nothing enough to comprehend though. She was beginning to feel miserable. The place she had been working so hard to learn to love, seemed to slowly be turning against her, a feeling she didn't want to have. She had heard too many stories from her father to know what it most likely felt like to be rejected by most everyone in the group.
@ Empress Of Evil
Calixto entered the clearing. He stretched his long, sturdy hind legs and released a powerful yawn. As he exited the fighters den, he shook out his pelt, to clear away the matted part of his long creamy fur. For him that was a problem when sleeping, it always screwed up his fur. He wasn't a clean freak or anything, but he didn't want to look lazy or whatever. Besides, these were his den mates and he could not look bad for them. They had a Syndicate to uphold, so he would make sure he did it efficiently, while looking his best. Now, Calixto wasn't the vain type, he was just simply self conscious of his body at almost every moment, a terrible habit he had picked up as a Trainee. He couldn't shake it, so it stuck. He didn't mind it as much now, where as when he was younger, it always had to look neat and clean. Now he just fought and struggled to keep the knots and tangles away. After he spfinished ridding his pelt of unwanted knits, he paced forwards and sat down in the shadows. The cool of the shade soaked into his pelt. Because of his long hair, he became over heated and hit rather easily, even in the colder weather of leafbare. He sat down, grooming it, removing strands of bracket from his nest that had lodged themselves in his fur.
