Absolutely! I would like to add any experience gained from the patrol that bumblestar lead to retrieve mountaintalon if any (since we haven't finished yet)(Basically leaning into injury instead of death)
Since they're not fighting them during the ongoing encounter I wouldn't say that adds to any knowledge as to how to deal with them. Keep in mind that death isn't a requirement but injuries will likely be numerous and pretty heavy
