once upon a time.
There was a king. The king had many children but unfortunately none of the ones he knew about were sons. Until one day, the king's second wife finally gave him the son he wanted. The king held his 'only' son with high expectations. The son of course carried out each and everyone. The prince felt as if his only goal in life was to make his father proud.
After very many hardships, one that included the loss of half his face, the prince had been knighted. The youngest knight at the time. Time went on and the prince unfortunately did not like his knighted life. The prince felt as if he had grown distant with his so-called loved ones.
Eventually everything came crumbling down. The golden prince's mother went missing and his father was soon killed afterwards. The prince felt like he had no more purpose in his life. Without a word to anyone the prince abandoned his crown and fled the kingdom.
The former prince eventually found a small hut with a boy. The boy pitied the prince and his permanent scars. The boy allowed the prince to live in his home.
No more a prince now just a comfortable peasant. One without the pressures of being the perfect son.

The rising sun started to shine through the curtainless window. A single green eyes slowly opened. The black furred tom let out a stretch before stepping out of the small pile of blankets on the ground. Dogskull Oliver looked around his home. It was basically empty. There were a few boxes, but they were picked up and brought outside. Oliver stared at the open door before walking over to the kitchen. The bell on his green collar made a sound and the twoleg in the kitchen looked down. Oliver couldn't understand what he was saying but let out a small mrrp and started purring when his boy picked him up and held him like a baby. His boy asked him something, but Oliver of course couldn't understand.
The boy held Oliver closer to his face and the scarred tom bumped foreheads with him.
The boy carried him over to the closet in the front hallway. This confused Oliver, he was supposed to be getting breakfast. Oliver was placed back on the ground and gave a questioning meow. His boy pulled out a small caged thing. The very thing that Oliver was placed in before being taken to that horrible smelling place. Oliver squinted at his boy, the boy obviously saw his uncertainty and gave Oliver a comforting pet. Oliver leaned his head up into his boys touch.
The boy opened the cage thing and Oliver reluctantly stepped into it, he trusted his boy. His boy wouldn't hurt him. The door closed and the cage was picked up and carried outside. The cage was placed into the monster that his boys family seemed to have tamed. Oliver was still in shock that these things could be tamed.
Olivers boy sat next to him in the monster and it woke up. Oliver didn't realize that this meant he really would never see anyone from Shadowclan again.
Though if he did know..
It wouldn't have bothered him.
The End.
