It been moons since he was lost to the wilds and the blizzard that swept over ShadowClan has led him astray. After wandering the bleak landscape for moons, spring has come and Palepaw realized he's in a place he'd never seen. With the rain pouring down, the thin kitten shivered before making his way forward.
If only he wasn't as forgetful and if only he was smarter, Palepaw wouldn't be in this situation, yet he'd decided: until he find his path home, he'll explore the world like he'd always dreamed of. And his explorations has led him here...a den like structure.
"Hello! H-hiya! Anyone home? I mean no harm and I'm just passing through!" Palepaw started but his voice wavered, shivering under the heavy pour of the rain. "C-could I share your den? Just until the r-rain passes?"

it was safe to say Rue was Surprised. she turned to face the newcomer. "Of course Hun, Feel Free to Bunker down till the rains have Passed... Hmm... I'm Rue..." she introduced herself, before blinking... this new cat held a faint scent she hadn't smelt for many moons. "are you... of Shadowclan?"

Rue...that didn't sound like a clan name and his eyes went huge. It was the first time he's met a cat out here in the middle of nowhere. And if Rookfire taught him anything, it would be stranger danger, but he'd only follow half the advise.
But stranger, may still be dangerous... but the little one was too forgetful and outgoing for something like that. "I am! I am...a long way from home. But it's okay! I'll find my way back!"
"I'm Palepaw, by the way. What's this place?" Palepaw asked with a voice filled with curiosity, but also shaking from the cold. His sky blue eyes lit up brightly as he examine this den Rue stayed in.
( I plan on having Pale explore the world, so he won't be going back home right away ^^)

Rue Asked, wondering what her 'father' was up to these days. she then turned to limp farther into her Den. it was a damp day, and she needed to make sure the Seeds she'd gathered Moons ago where still good...

All the healer's he's known has been super duper nice. Lostspark. Mossfreckle...and Rookfire! They were the best best best!

He didn't know if his memories were getting foggy again or he hasn't heard of that name before. Palepaw replied, shaking his head regrettably. "I- I don't know of a Elmshadow...sorry..."

"You are so far from home! Don't you want to go back?" The pale calico inquire with such worry in his voice, it wavered almost anxiously. But that never lasts long. His eyes dart back and forth between Rue's legs, and without a second thought, Palepaw offered himself. "I'm pretty okay at hunting! Sooo I could hunt for you while I'm here! In exchange for the herb lessons and for letting me stay here!"
"Let's start tomorrow!" Palepaw decided adamantly with a huge grin and sparkles in his sky blue eyes.

Palepaw woke up early the next morning and snuck out of the healer's den. Even though Rue had said she could hunt for herself, Palepaw couldn't just take lessons for free. That's not fair! So the little apprentice set out his morning hunt.

Okay...maybe he wasn't as good as hunting as he thought he was. Might've failed the first two tries...But at last, he caught something! A fresh vole from the undergrowth sat limp in his jaws as he skipped back towards the den Rue would be in. "Rue!"
"I've got a vole for you! A gift! For breakfast," Palepaw proclaimed with sparkles in his eyes. He dropped off his offering by Rue and settled himself down, waiting for the lesson to start.
