Alright, so Ashwhisper is back, and she’s feeling rather silly now. Even though The Quasar (who we’ll get to in a moment!) is starting to hate her, Ashie still persists! Now with a cult! I and staff have been having a little chat, but now.. NOW..
I (properly) present to you;

The New Moon Society.

Okay.. what is that?

Well, The New Moon Society (TNMS) is a little outsider cult based in a spot a little way’s away from Thunderclan and Shadowclan’s outskirts! It’s actually the same spot Ashwhisper and acclaimed TNMS hater Nettlescratch grew up! Awesome stuff, yeah? Well, the cats in the group all live together in that very spot. And they partially worship The Quasar, but.. it’s complicated. Since Ashwhisper is the main “prophet” of the group, she expects the same amount of respect — she’s the one bringing its teachings to her people, of course! Except.. it’s not all true. See, she’s a bit of a liar, and at times may twist The Quasar’s words to get the Society on her side AND HER SIDE ALONE. If anyone strays from her word, they will be dealt with swiftly. The Moonseeker and her Blue Moons (Ashwhisper and her most trusted cats) roam the outskirts, recruiting apprentices, warriors, and young outsiders to join the group. They will prey on groups suffering major losses, and may resort to their own force to get others to join.

Just a little notice, this cult will last until late September. By that time, Ashwhisper will DIE and the cult will disband. Do not try to recreate it.

Who’s this “Ashwhisper” and “Quasar” bunch? Isn’t a quasar a really bright black hole?!?!

Well, I’m so very glad you asked! Let’s get a grip on our favoruite cult leader first!


Ashwhisper

To put it short, Ashwhisper is… a misguided girly who really likes The Quasar’s because she’s PRETTY SURE that’s her dad. Except it isn’t. It very much isn’t. She and her sibling Nettlescratch were born in the spot TNMS will now be, Ash in particular raised in a literal giant hole in the ground by her dad, Moonfreckle. He taught her the art of manipulation, which has definitely helped in the long run! However, he died from lightning striking and drowning and then her mum Dusk died too which wasn’t great. She went to Shadowclan, started a fake cult, got apprenticed, left for Thunderclan, met The Quasar and got into a fight with it, tried to start a cult for it, got exiled, got rejected by Riverclan, and now she’s here! Great stuff. Oh and she’s VERY mentally unstable. Do not mention family or ‘knowing too much’ around her. She will claw your face off.

But now………


The Quasar

The Quasar. Oh, The Quasar. Ququ is a very odd fellow, but here’s how it appeared. So, Moonfreckle always had a pursuit of power, but when he died he was really angry about that. Being dead and angry is not good. Moonfreckle’s got cursed, and suddenly all of his emotions he’d suppressed (for example, his hate for authority whilst he was in Thunderclan, or his “love” for his family) or even not used (as in, the emotions most cats probsbly experience but he hasnt, for example compassion or empathy) have come back to bite him! This was in the form of a glowing manifestation of those feelings called The Blinding Spark, which festered in his spirit and took over, becoming.. The Quasar! The Quasar and Moonfreckle now share a body. But we’re not done yet, oh no. The Quasar still wanted power, and just REALLY HATES THE COVENANT, so it made a wish upon the moon, as ya do, and it came true! Except it didn’t.
You see, there’s a thing called Wishes Coming True But With Insane Drawbacks. That’s what The Quasar got! So now, it gains power with the new moon but there’s a MASSIVE problem. Moonfreckle is.. starting to become just a lingering bundle of feeling in the back of its mind. These feelings? Manipulative tendencies, violence, hating The Quasar, and not really loving his wife! That last bit is irrelevant.

Okay. HOW DO I JOIN?????

It’s simple, really! Just follow the rules of the cult below, and fill out the form! Then, I’ll see if you can join the very limited time allegiances of this terrible cult wonderful group of like-minded cats! You can even be a high ranking cat if you’re cool enough and one of em dies! Here are the types of cats involved in this group;

The Quasar’s main prophet. Receives prophecies and teachings, delivers word of The Quasar, respected just as much as the ghost. Hopefully.

Blue Moon Follower (1/3) - Echobarley (@sturgeonwind), others will be filled in ic
The Moonseeker’s most trusted cats. Fulfil orders, help recruit more cats, deal with insubordinate followers.

New Moon Follower (0/6) -
The general populace of the cult. Blindly follow teachings, definitely don’t speak out against The Moonseeker, worship The Quasar.
