2025 Egg(ish) Hunt!

Yes, you. Get over here.

You see this empty nest, yes?

I thought I could keep my eggs this year by sitting on them
and keeping them nice and safe. And it worked, believe it or not!
I finally won against the egg thief. My eggs hatched!
I was going to raise my chickens to give me even more
eggs to eat. It was a masterful plan!

They're all gone, though.
It seems there's a new thief I've never seen before.

Worse yet, the culprit has hidden them around the forums, breaking
all my rules. They are buried deep in threads, nestled in albums,
tucked among old pages, all over the place. It's disastrous!

...But the culprit did leave clues as to where these chicks are.
Here, I'll give you this piece of paper I found tucked underneath me
where my chicks were. Maybe you can read it, because I sure can't.

To Percival, and anyone else who may be reading this note:

Yes, I stole your chickens. All 15 of them. It was quite easy, too!
And I have gone a step further this year, hiding them all about the forums.
You can't hire your minions to scour the whole of the site – why, that would
take far too long for you. And who would even agree to do such a thing?

Lucky for you, I have decided to be generous. I have scattered them across
the site, yes. But I have also left notes like this at every place I have left
a chick. Clues, you see. You find one chick, it'll lead you to the next, so on, so forth.
In fact, I have your first one now:

I'll go easy on you.
I'll give you your first clue.
The very first chick can be found near,
In fact, it's right over here.
Just remember, these clues will get harder,
So as you keep going, you better get smarter!
Each of these chicks knows one word. (Do you know how hard it was to teach them?)
When you find each one, it will cheep its word to you. Make sure to keep track
of it. It would also be best if you kept track of the order in which you find them.
(For example, you could write down something like Chick 1: WORD, Chick 2: WORD, and so on.)
It will come in handy later, you see. And make sure you or your minions don't
get an unfair advantage if you stumble upon one without a clue leading to it.

I will give you more puzzles as your quest goes on, and eventually, you'll use the words
you found to find me... if you can, that is! Hahaha!

I like to think of myself as patient. Benevolent, even. Which is why I'm
giving you until Thursday, May 8th at 11:59 PM ET to find me.
If you cannot do so before then, I suppose your chicks are going to become my breakfast.

To Percival's minions who are reading this, I have an incentive. I will give anyone who
happens to find me 5,000 Koins and an exclusive award. So long as you find me
before the deadline, that is. I will not accept any late arrivals.
Once you find me, you will privately message me all 15 of the words you found.

There will be no hints from the staff team for this hunt. You're on your own!
So, to help out with that, you all are allowed to collaborate if you need help with clues.
If a friend of yours cannot figure out a clue, you're encouraged to point them in the right direction.
While I can't stop you, I really discourage you from just giving out the answer.
It takes some of the thrill of the hunt away, you know?
