Almondstream trods back to camp after being sent to a brief night patrol at Smallpines. Riverclan seems to be minding their business (for now). Almondstream greets the elders with a respectful nod and takes a fat mouse from the fresh kill pile. The moon is shining in the gloomy night sky. After Almondstream finishes her meal, She goes to the Warriors den to share tounges with her fellow Warrior friends. After that she cleans her shoulder before settling down in her cozy moss bedding and drifts off into a deep sleep.

Claws tore into her throat, and for a moment she could see her life flash before her eyes. Regret immediately struck her. Not only regret, but everything she'd ever done. She wasn't aware of the screams coming from her throat. She wasn't aware of the tears, the searing pain, the spilling blood.
Firebloom awoke, choking on her own blood. Immediately, her paws scrambled to grasp at her throat. It happened. It wasn't just a dream. It wasn't a normal dream, at least. She tried to call for help, but nothing came out. Her vision began to swim now, twisting and turning as she tried her best to stay awake. If she closed her eyes, she may never open them again. She tried her best to ignore the blood pouring from the gash in her throat, and just leave the den, but she couldn't. How could anyone?
Stay awake. Stay awake. Don't give up, you're better than this. She repeated to herself in her mind, barely being able to catch her breath. She'd survived something like this before, the scars littered across her body proving so. She should be able to handle this. She should. She should.

He was just resting in the warrior den, exhausted, but finally managed to close his eyes for a wink of sleep before an alarming sound woke him. It wasn't a yell, but it was still a desperate cry for help that was drown out by the sound of gasping, thrashing and horrific bubbling. Before he could decern who it was, his nose filled with the pungent scent of blood. The metallic notes woke him completely and it made his fur stand on it's end. His vision blurred as his eyes adjusted to the lighting of the den. Someone was hurt- who? Icy blue eye darted around to find pools and pools of blood seeping out of the red furred warrior.
Maplehaze felt his stomach drop and his heart stopped for a moment. Dread filled his once tired face. The absolute horror that unravel before him made the russet bengal tom stumble backwards. "F-firebloom?!"
What happened? What- There's no time. Haze stood up and rushed out of the den, yelling, "HELP! W-WOLFHAWK, HOLLOWPAW!?IT'S FIREBLOOM, SHE'S HURT- BLEEDING-oh stars, oh stars."
The tom paced back in forth, before repeatedly telling the bleeding warrior with tears wanting to well up in his eyes. "Hey, it's going to be alright. It's gonna be fine. Help is coming- you'll be alright. You will be alright!"
Brackenclaw- He/Him, 26 Moons old, Thunderclan Hornet. Purrks: Just a Scratch.
Brackenclaw would hear the cries for help and would immediately spring into action. 'Bleeding? How? Did something get into the Warriors Den and attack Firebloom while she was asleep?' Brackenclaw thought to himself racing over the large Maine Coon coming to assess the situation. Brackenclaw saw the heavily scarred she-cat pouring blood and struggling to stay up and conscious. Brackenclaw raced to grab some moss that wasn't covered in her blood. He would at least know to apply pressure on the wound. He would do just that. The Hornet would look over to Maplehaze he had no time to temper his usual intimidating voice so instead he just let his dark and deep voice ring true and urgently. "Instead of calling them why not go get them and hurry! I'll try to keep Firebloom alive!" Brackenclaw would say leaving it less of a suggestion and more of an order. This was a race against time. @Star @goodacacia
Haze swallowed back all trembling feelings when another warrior arrived. Much more equipped and knowledgable. The russet tom stepped backward, briefly watching Brakenclaw push moss onto Firebloom’s wounds, and just seeing the blood gush out once more made him queasy, sick to the stomach. If he had to do that- no, he can’t. His lack of knowledge, lack of everything, would’ve made it worse. No time to think. No time to waste. The hornet was right, they needed to call for help directly. The russet tom stumbled backwards and bolted towards the medicine cat den.
Come on. Come on. Can’t he run any faster?? His clanmate needed help, but he was just a stumbling mess.

It had been a long day. As always in the Clan. Always something to do, always run left and right...
Smokefang entered the Warriors' Den with a sigh.
With everything that happened, otters, and so many things... Well... He was
exhausted. Kind of. The absolutely 'normal' warrior could never find true rest, his mind was far too twisted for such thing.
It was a little disadvantage... When he did manage to find true rest, he found himself plagued by memories. Some could say grief or remorse, he, on the other hand, said it was a job that wasn't done well.
Mpf. That wasn't the point today. Today, he really wanted to find rest tho, and he wasn't about to let dumb memories stop him. He went directly to his den without a sound and flopped on it with a tired sigh, and curled up in it as he closed his eyes...
Finally, some well deserved rest...
