The leader stammered as he realized that there were cats who might not want to explore the Riverclan territory when the river had been frozen over, and almost every pawstep was into a pile of frigid snow. "Honestly, I can't wait for greenleaf- though I love the snow, you eventually get sick of seeing it."

Since the subject was turned to a more positive one,reunited,he thought the other would think their closeness would e awkward so he pulled away a bit more. He didn't mind the contact,but he didn't want to make the leader uncomfortable. He smiled and nodded to his words. "I'd love to honestly." his voice was his usual soft tone,though still had hints of apparent excitement in it from reuniting with his old friend. "I don't mind the snow,I find it beautiful."

Brackenpaw padded out of the apprentice's den, his pelt neatly groomed and tidy. Having short fur could be a great advantage for him at times. It made it easier to groom and he was cooler in green-leaf. In leaf-bare though, he often found himself quite cold. He padded past the fresh kill pile and grabbed a small mouse before padding over to a quiet spot in the clearing. He lay himself down, stretching his back legs and started to eat the mouse. Once he was done, he brushed away the thin layer of snow and dug a shallow hole in the dirt beneath. Using one paw, he swiped the bones into the hole, before covering it back up. Noticing a bit of fur was rather matted on his arm, her started to groom it, taking long strokes and trying to smooth it down.

"I'm good. How about you?" Blackgaze asked after answering the question, the warrior smiling at her friend. She didn't talk much with her best friends anymore, unless it was Russetstar and they were talking about the clan. Though, it only made the time she spent with friends better and more cherished then before when that's mostly all she did. The inky deputy found it nice that Cloudrain had approached her, as she tended to find that she usually needed to approach everyone else for them to want to talk to her, and that was never good on her anxiety as approaching others had many different possible outcomes and consequences. The poor molly thinks too much when it comes to socializing or helping others out. Which is probably why she makes such a better warrior then she ever would a medicine cat.

"I'm great as usual!", Cloudrain said, her eyes glimmering with joy and cheerfulness. It was extremely rare for any cat to catch Cloudrain not being her usual happy self. The tabby she cat wasn't the smartest cat in the planet, and not very good at extremely difficult fighting techniques, but she appeared to have this amazing ability where she could turn every negative problem into something positive. Cat's who preferred to be more negative than positive, would find her annoying. But really, she didn't take any notice at all because she would've already gone off to make someone else happy. "Are you busy? Because if you are I can always go and talk with someone else", Cloudrain suddenly asked. She was well aware of all the duties her best friend had, after all, duties were the reason she could hardly ever find the time to talk to the deputy. She never liked to get in someone's way, despite getting in the way more than she realized. Cloudrain just never notices if she is bothering someone when she is making someone happy.

Moonpaw sat down, her usually happy expression gone. She was clearly upset, and didn't really want to be bothered. Since her mentor's death after the EE, she hadn't smiled once. She grumpily scanned the clearing, looking at her too-happy clan mates.
