Firebloom approached Hollowpaw with a smile, giving Sunpaw a slightly apologetic and grateful look.

"L-looks like Sun...Sunpaw m-managed t-to gather more... B-but I hope this is an... Okay amount." The scarred she-cat dropped the bright flowers at her paws, before stepping back.

Burnedbark trotted back to camp, depositing his catch before approaching Risingstorm. He dipped his head respectfully as he approached, this time he did have a report. “Risingstorm,” he mewed, his tone and expression no more solemn than they usually were, “the patrol was…less than successful. Combining it with a training session for the -paws seemed to be…a struggle for them.” He reported, blinking apologetically. As patrol lead, a failed patrol was his responsibility in the end. “I can go out again, to make up for the prey.” He offered, and it was a genuine offer. He didn’t like that they didn’t bring back loads of prey, but it wasn’t the apprentice’s fault either. Perhaps training during a patrol was too fast-paced for them?

Her paw was sore, her face damp, and her attempt at fishing had been a bust. She was not going to sit around waiting for the rest of the patrol to gather their catches. Judging by the look of the emptying clearing, they were already late anywho. That was going to be a mouthful she would prefer to avoid, but apparently would not.

"Risingstorm!" She let out the call to the Hornet, glancing around for his brown pelt before dropping the mouse she had caught into the fresh-kill pile. At least it looked rather plump. Still convinced it's pregnant.. or at least it was, "The patrol at Sunkissed Creek was fair enough I suppose. Prey seems plentiful, but hunting around others is not my forte."

The last part of her report held nothing of value, but this was Blossomclaw we were talking about, she didn't give a damn what was relevant if she was in a mood.

Mallowswarm

Mallowswarm was close behind Blossomclaw as the patrol entered camp. She followed the warrior's lead, placing her catches on the fresh-kill pile before straightening, head turning towards the tabby as she spoke. As the patrol leader, she was supposed to be making the report, but it was probably for the best that the other cat was doing it. She knew she wouldn't have remembered to do it unless she was promoted. Still, it made her wonder whether she was fit to lead a patrol. She knew the answer to that question. Of course she wasn't. Mallowswarm tried to push the thought to the back of her mind, but it lingered, nagging at her. She doubted it would go away after she had been dismissed. Those thoughts, those insecurities never did, not for a long time.
