Oakpaw folded her ears upon hearing what Spiderthroat had to say. It felt like anger was emanating from him, making Oakpaw want to disappear even if she wasn't even remotely related to the whole ordeal, this whole situation made Oakpaw feel uneasy.

Fernwhisper listened carefully to each word and furrowed her features, when she heard of the neglect. She really is out of the loop these days.

The dilute feline felt the icy chill of uncertain crawl up through her body from her paws. What would happen now?

Spiderpaw yelped from the apprentice's den when all the commotion in the medicine den happened, poking her head out cautiously. Were they under attack?! StarClan! How much could they endure! But then...Spiderthroat emerged. With the medics. The deputy looked...well he looked like hell. Not in the sense that he looked like he was in bad shape - even though he was - but more...the energy he was giving off was as though he were the embodiment of hell in this moment. At first, she thought Wolfha- Wolfpaw would be executed. That was just...the energy she was feeling. Or maybe her own fear?

Either way, she was stunned. Jaw agape, eyes rounded. How could this happen? She could hardly believe it. How could...medicine cats of all cats allow something like this to happen? She may not have believed it if it was any other cat delivering the news, but she knew Spiderthroat wouldn't trivialize or exaggerate. And he wouldn't lie. But...wow... The dark gray feline could only sit there. Stunned.

Nightwhisper heard yelling and walked out. Finding Weepingwillow he sat Coe beside her. A protective stance as he was so sure something would happen. Emberpaw watched with his ears pinned. Good for nothing medicine cats! They couldn't save his sisters they couldn't save these cats! He knew when him and Acornfall went on patrol with Wolfhawk that he was a stuck up tom! Emberpaw BOWED to that foolish Wolfpaw. Emberpaw bared his fangs. This cat coul no be responsible for his mothers birth. He'd do it himself.
"This stupid medicine cats are all good for nothings" the tom snarled. Receiving a surprised look from his mother and a gentle tail from his father.
Nightwhisper meowed "Emberpaw. Keep your comments to yourself your to young to be involved in such matters. Just worry about your training and let the high ranks and seniors deal with this"
Emberpaw huffed.
Cloverkit looked around. Mama? "P-Papa!!" Cloverkit heard yelling. Lots of it. Deranking? Hurt cats!? Cloverkit was terrified as she pinned her ears. Wailing for her mother or father. Suddenly she felt a soft tail scoop her in. Weepingwillow looked down at the little Cloverkit. The kit shivering into her belly as she whimpered. Weepingwillow put her tail over the kits ears to block out more sound. "Hush little one. Everything will be ok"

This was all his fault. Wolfhawk clenched his jaws, worried about what fate he would meet. Exile? Death? All the options seemed to be on the table. All because he had been stupid. The large tom watched as Spiderthroat exited the den. As soon as the deputy started speaking, the medic hung his head in shame, trying not to break. He held back a snarl once mudhound had come up. He had chewed up the herbs, he only asked them to swallow. What is with everyone getting the story wrong?! He knew it was not the time to protest however.

Hollows wasn't getting demoted. But. As soon as the deputy turned to him, he shrunk. Wolfhawk just wanted to crawl into a corner and die right then and there. Instead they were being scolded and humiliated in front of the entire clan.

"You are no longer Wolfhawk, Medicine cat of ThunderClan. You are Wolfpaw, apprentice."

No. It was gone. All of it. Green eyes became tearful, his brown pelt bristled. He had lost all of it. Not because he had done it willingly, like he had hoped. Because he was incompetent, stupid, and had a lack of a brain. Nine moons of his life had vanished in the blink of an eye. Wolfha- no. Wolfpaw felt like the same scared apprentice trapped under that damn tree. He couldn't breathe.

His inner doubt thrived from this however. You were never good enough. Should have left when you could. Look what happened now. It's your fault. Always. Your. Fault.

Should have left when you had the chance. "I wanted to step down," he said,voice barley above a whisper. "B-Before the otters, I-I wanted to leave. But then Bumblestar didn't wake up, a-and I needed to do everything. I wanted to talk to her. I wanted to tell her that I wanted to retire. A-And i'm sorry. I'm so so sorry," the tripod muttered, tears streaming down his face. He got what he wanted, but not in the way he had hoped. He would try. He would try to be a good apprentice, try to let go of his past and learn from his mistakes. But at the moment, it felt utterly hopeless.

And he hated that familiar feeling.

Pineblossom limped her way out of the medicine den after watering Treetiger once more. Spiderthroat's anger was beyond anything Pineblossom had seen before, and it almost made her want to crawl back into the den. Her own wounds from the rogue creature weren't causing her much of any pain anymore, but her shoulder on the other hand... well she would just have to suffer through that.

Demoted. Wolfpaw. ThunderClan... was without a fully trained medicine cat. Pineblossom's eyes filled with a mixture of fear and an inexplicable amount of rage. This cat that was supposed to heal.. admitted to wanting to step down. What the hell was going on? This Clan was falling apart at the seams, and these otters were only going to speed up the process if they didn't have a proper healer. She wanted to speak up, but she couldn't do such a thing.

Hickorysmoke growled at this, the tom stepped up, ears pinned. "Spiderthroat. Because of this I'd like to take out patrols to collect any herbs we are missing." Hickorysmoke's holden gaze glared at the two medicine cats. A waste of potential, truly.

DandelionPaw watched as the other cats went about their business, the sun was warm but she couldn't help but be bored, she had a while till her mentor would get around to training.
as if i want to do that, maybe i should play with the kits, their looking extra adorable and playful today.

Playing with kits was one of her usual things to do when not out of camp be it on a patrol or a lesson. Though at this point it would likely be for patrols since she had all her lessons at this point. Sunpaw could take time to learn more; she was never opposed to learning more stuff. Yet everything that got offered to her was something she already knew, she wanted new knowledge not old!

Well she was stuck in camp with no authority to leave camp when she wanted, losing her mind to boredom. She had a couple of ideas but didn’t have anyone to really unleash them on or with. Until she spotted another apprentice who looked oddly enough like her, could it be some forgotten twin?! Her first action was to come running at them and then proceed to launch them in dandelionpaws direction.”Twins!” came her screech Sunpaw paid no mind if her stunt landed on the other or not it was mainly to gain their attention.

Dizzy sat in the clearing with a grumble.
He should probably be asleep right now, but starts if his mind wasn't racing.
After what the med cats told him...
After what happened to Flint....
After that panic attack during battle training...

Maybe they were right when he was a kit.
He'll never get anywhere with his attitude.
He huffed and hit a random pebble on the ground,
sending it flying across camp.
He sighed and sat down.

simply sitting down and breathing down their neck.
okay, this was creepy.

Wha- Who- Who's kit was this.
Hi expression sharpens and he huffed.
