Halestar stood on the Highbranch, her green eyes looking down at the camp. She cleared her throat and called all the cats forward, making sure Moondancer was in the group of cats.

The leader started to speak, voice almost emotionless. "It has been a while since I have become leader and ShadowClan is recovering well, as you all probably know. However we are still in need of a Deputy, and I would like to name Moondancer as the new deputy!" she called, looking directly at the other cat.

"Would you like to accept the role?" she asked, tail flicking softly, waiting for the response of the other cat. The leader hoped to StarClan that this cat would accept the role as deputy, as it took a lot of thought to decide on this one cat... someone she could trust.

Moondancer had been out hunting with a new friend, and had just finished clearing out a few shards of ice from her fur, before she heard the call. The egyptian mau she-cat peered at Ocelotpath and smiled at him, before walking over to sit beneath the highbranch. Peering up at Halestar, she wondered for a moment why she were looking at her more than the others, before the announcment was made. Deputy? Her? Pride swelled in Moondancer's heart, and she stood up and put the most determined and loyal attitude on, giving a wide smile as she answered Halestar's request. "I shall accept this with honor, and serve the clan to my best ability" She said, nodding. She had not expected this, but was more than happy.

She puts loudly "yes welcome smokekit, tigerkit and thornkit my children." She licked each of them after her mate had.

Hatterpaw smiled as he bounced around the clearing with a big smile on his maw. His brother was asleep and so he was free to bother anyone who he could find. He padded around playfully, bouncing and smiled with a big goofy grin. But as he padded he didn't pay attention and ran into a molly. He fell back then scrambled to his paws. "S-Sorry!" he meowed.
