Mistkit scurried past her mother into the rocky clearing. She was giggling like an apprentice had made a hilarious joke about a senior warrior, tripping over rocks and her own paws. She skidded to a halt right in front of the stream, knocking dust and dirt into the water.
'Hm.. Jaysong hasn't figured out I'm gone yet...
She couldn't contain another burst of the giggles, as she thought of the worst things she could do to make her mother mad. Run into the stream, Bother the elders, or, if she wanted to be really bad, she could simply hide away somewhere. She knew she was a handful, and she loved it.
The only thing keeping her from totally running off into the wilderness was the one thing keeping her from doing mostly everything, her sister. Where was Moondancer? Probably out of a patrol somewhere doing important deputy stuff...
'I bet Moondancer wasn't as mischevious, but I don't care.'
She never did. Unless, of course, Moondancer was around...

Juni sighs, her whiskers twitching as she spots the tom, padding up to him, the cream she-cat flicked an ear in concern, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine..." he got up and padded for the entrance of the camp

He was half disgusted with himself for even thinking that, though he had a grudging liking for the young she cat. Perhaps it was because everything he wasn't. Maybe it was because she was actually attempting to be nice to him. Whatever it was, Lunarpaw was finding himself wanting her to stay.

Briarpaw was a bit taken aback by his words. She reached out a paw out to him as he turns away from her, bitter at how sympathetic she was towards him. She was upset at herself for trying to relate to a cat she has no experience with. She was upset that she probably made him feel worse than he did before. She shrunk herself, pinning her ears back and inched herself over to where his face turned towards. "I-I'm sorry... r-really I am." she squeaked apologetically. She tried to think of something to make him feel better. "You know I..." she was beginning to explain why she was bullied a lot, but she quickly shut her mouth up. She was afraid if she told him, he would start bullying her too. So she cancelled what she was about to say. "I... forgot what I was going to say." she lied, with a wide smile.

The oddly colored tom's hues narrowed and he sighed. "Yeah. Everyone's sorry, aren't they?" He mewed with a shrug. It's just a word. It doesn't fix things, does it? He had heard a vast majority of 'I'm so sorry' 'what a brave cat' 'just keep your head up!' in his time, but it was a rare occasion when someone actually meant it. Still...if anyone did, perhaps this cheerful little cat would. He felt a little bad for making her look so depressed. We could use a few cats like that in the Clan. Happy little things, Lunarpaw thought with an odd, half twisted smile as though he were trying and didn't really know how. His ears pricked up as she looked as though she were about to say something important, and then she quickly changed it, telling him she had forgotten. You don't just forget something right in the middle of a sentence, he thought with an angry narrowing of his hues, but he managed to force himself to calm down. "That's what I thought. Everyone forgets." He mewed in a low voice that seemed to hold four moons of frustration and anger in it. Everyone forgot. Everyone apologized. Did they really think he was such an awful cat, or that he was so easily broken? Because he wasn't. Lunarpaw was a good cat...at least, that was how he chose to think of himself.

The she-cat liked to use medium to big words in order to make the cat she was conversing with think she was smart, or to just annoy him or her. I truly am not all bad. I just am kind of dull sometimes I'm afraid. However, I do like to have fun times sometimes. It really depends," she mewed. She then shook her head, "Never mind about me, tell me about yourself Shadepaw, and oh, I am Adderpaw sir," she said. The apprentice liked to throw in some old language like sir, miss, pardon, shall etc... She tilted her head as she kept eye contact with the male.

For a moment, Shadepaw wasn't quite sure what to think. She seemed innocent enough- if not just a little on the strange side. There is use for a cat like that...he thought, cocking his head to the side as he examined the cat. His own hues gazed back at her, cold and unfazed...almost as though he felt nothing at all. Shadepaw yawned, stretching out until his paws were almost touching hers, before quickly pulling backwards. The tom wasn't about to do something stupid. He was a fairly smart cat- though intelligence definitely wasn't his strongest suit. He knew when he had met someone that was smarter then himself, and he was willing to admit that...in his head, at least. He would never say something like that aloud. "Oh, why thank you. I inherited it from my wonderful Mother." He mewed with another sly smirk.

He wasn't sure whether she was being sarcastic or not, but he decided to treat the "compliment" as though she were. It wouldn't hurt anything, right? "Quite the personality you have there, Adderpaw. It's an honor and a pleasure to meet you." He mewed, straightening up and dipping his head in an exaggerated bow. His hues were twinkling with laughter, though he managed to hide it with a friendly smile. Shadepaw had found that his smile- or smirk- could get him on pretty much anyone's good side. Perhaps even this strange feline's. "Hm? Oh, I don't know...I think you would much prefer a mystery. So? Figure me out." He added with a wink and a third smirk, getting to his paws. He was taller then the she cat, which showed- though not very clearly. He waited her response to his somewhat odd comment, figuring it would come soon. She wouldn't be able to do it. Just by looking at him, Shadepaw's appearance did not at all reflect his personality...he was a much nicer looking cat then he actually was. His handsome features, however, had succeeded in getting him what he had wanted many times...and he wasn't used to hearing the word no. As a matter of fact, the word infuriated him, throwing him into a dangerous state...a state that was not to be messed with.

The she-cat let out a light chuckle, "Hmm, that is the first time any cat has liked my personality," she said smiling so wide that her sharp teeth were showing. She then brought her lips back down into her normal smirk. She looked at him as he stretched and brought her paws back a bit as his and hers almost touched. She didn't really like physical contact unless it was a cat she actually likes, which had not happened yet. She blinked as he explained his personality.

Adderpaw then tilted her head. "I do love a good mystery," she said as she watched him wink at her. "My dear Shadepaw," she began as she shook her head looking down before looking back up at him. "I'm afraid I am not the type o she-cat that flirts or to be flirted with because I have difficulties returning the favor, so therefore, your wishes to swoon me to get what you want will not work very well I'm afraid," she mewed. The apprentice wasn't sure if this was a his motive, but she just wanted to make it clear. She really didn't have much interests in a romantic relationship at the moment, but may be someday.
