Stormbreeze looked on feeling left out. Mothpaw's doing all the work, Hawkface is looking serious, and Spottedpaw is being weird...er. Lepo nuzzles and kisses Priecho, despite Mothpaw's efforts to politely shoo him away, it touches his cold heart, but it's warmth is not enough.

"Russetpatch!" Mikiro called from afar, "I need to speak with you alone, now!" "She's not going anywhere!" Stormbreeze turned and hissed, "You've lost our trust!" Mikiro growled, "This is between me and her, the rest of you are not involved." Spottedpaw bares her teeth and mews fervently, "They're already involved! We all want answers, so if you have anything to say..." Mikiro pondered a moment, then with a slight smirk, mewed, "Fine. I'm waiting at the Moonpool if you want your answers." and promptly pads away.

"Who else dosent believe a single word that fox-heart mews?" Stormbreeze pouted. "He's definitely not himself," Priecho mewed in a raspy voice, "I wouldn't either." Mothpaw smacks Priecho's ear to tell him not to talk, since his mouth is full of polituce. Spottedpaw looked over her shoulder and raised her ear, then mewed with a sigh, "We have to," she then looks to Hawkface, "You deserve to know, all of you." Mothpaw pads around to Spottedpaw, "I'm staying here to help Priecho. You'll understand more than I will, Hawkface." "And Softtail needs to be with our kits." Stormbreeze added, "I can tell her when we regroup."

Hawkface sighs heavily, shaking his head. "We don't have a choice." He says resignedly, shaking his head again. "We need to know. But if this does go bad... Stormbreeze...you and I will have to fight to give them all a way out."

The three pad across to the Moonpool, Mikiro sits waiting on the other side. There is an air of unease, and the fox's silence as they approached made Spottedpaw's fur stand on end.

"I thought I had destroyed you," Mikiro started, "But it turns out Spottedpaw is truly one of your own kin." The Moonpool is calm despite the draft from above, and from its reflection to Hawkface's experienced eyes, Mikiro seemed to have a dim blue light eminating from him.

Stormbreeze unsheathed his claws. He blinked to try to see what Hawkface could, but he felt a deep unease about this and took a pawstep back.

"Reincarnation is a sacred power, both virtuous and dangerous." Mikiro explained. "Starclan uses this power to allow those who's lives have been altered from their intended path another chance at achieving their dreams and purpose. Aurorastar... He went against Starclan and misused his ability to bring back someone who didn't deserve a second chance. You must see it, Hawkface, just look into Spottedpaw's reflection, the true deceiver is upon you."

"They already know I ended up in the Dark Forest," Spottedpaw mewed, padding up to the Moonpool. Sure enough, surrounding her reflection is a mist of red and black. "What did you do to me? I don't feel like Russetpatch anymore, but she's still in my head and speaks for herself."

By the blessings of Starclan, faithful foxes and cats alike can manipulate the soul, recoving lost memories and allow one to commune with a loved one long gone, as long as a Moonpool and one of their own kind is present. I tried to have Hawkface dispel Russetpatch thinking her hold on you was the same as possession. Unfortunately, it made both of you stronger, being of the same blood." That fox...? The way Mikiroreffered to his own brother caught Spottedpaw's ears.

"What?" Stormbreeze growled, padding up to be next to Hawkface, "I won't let them go back to that broken clan."

Hawkface growls deep in his throat, glaring at Mikiro. "Our path has been chosen, and not just by Starclan. When we set out, we all had resolved to never return to Glenclan. It's not what it once was, you can barely call it a Clan anymore. We will continue forward, no matter my fate or any of ours. You cannot change that."
