"Alright," Flamewing meowed, her tail waving from side to side. "Let's go!" And with that she raced out of camp.

He was right behind her, able to match her pace with ease.

Flamewing glanced over her shoulder. She decided to go as fast as she can and see if Falconflight could keep up. She sprinted at ahead at full speed. can you keep up? she thought playfully.

Sure it wasn't true exile, because she, and the others who were there with her, had done nothing wrong, only gotten in the way of Blazingnight. The Angora swiped her pastel yellow hues over the clearing. This was home, and she had missed it dearly in her days away. She had always taken for granted the pleasures that she could enjoy when she was here with the clan. Here it was okay if you didn't always come back with prey. Out there, if you didn't catch anything you would starve. All it was was more stress for her than anything, and boy was it a relief to be back here in her home. But she was here now, but her times in the woods behind the territory would never be forgotten.
Finchfeather was supposed to be happy about being home. His sister was the leader now, and he was free to go back to normal life as it had used to be- however, a part of his yeart had been ripped apart in the liberation, his mate seeming not to care about him anymore and moving to Skyclan- which left him here with a broken clan, family, and heart. He was bitter about it, for sure- Finchfeather wasn't known for taking anythihg lightly. Padding into the clearing with his head down, the brown tabby warrior's head hung low as he sighed, eyes narrow as he glanced around at all the cats he'd helped to save. They look so happy- why is it just me who doesn't feel right? Maybe it was selfish of him, but the warrior thought he'd done enough good in his life to deserve a happy ending. Gazing around camp, he started to search for anything that would keep his mind off of his own misfortunes- and sure enough, he found one face he definitely recognized. Diverting his eyes to the gray-dappled molly, he strode up towards Smokeblossom briskly, as if he'd just finished a patrol. "Hey- how's settling in been going for you?" He mumbled, eyes still staring towards the ground awkwardly.

Smokeblossom saw the tom coming towards her. She recognized him as Finchfeather, one of the cats who had been in exile with her. She gave him a kind smile, but could tell by his sulky expression that it probably wasn't welcome. Her eyes flowed over him, taking in his mood and posture, and got the feeling that something was troubling him. She wasn't quite sure what it was, but she could tell that she probably shouldn't bring it up. "Oh i-it's alright I-i guess. T-there h-has b-been al-lot h-happening around h-here." she replied quietly, her voice small and shy sounding. She didn't link talking around cats she didn't know that well, because of her speech impairment. She was afraid of what they would think of her when they heard her talk, so she tended not to talk much at all. "W-what ab-bout y-you?"

Just as if she were purring, there was no emotional change in his face when Sorrelbreeze began to growl, his yellow gaze remaining on the she-cat as it gradually grew louder, his gaze flickering to take note of the bristling furs that rose up along her spine and tail before looking back at her face, again, no change to his own. The claws and fangs were also noticed but Badgersong hardly took a step back when she stood and spat up at him the pointed words she had to say.
When she motioned to the fresh kill pile, he didn't bother to look over at it, he knew what it looked like and didn't need her to get him to notice it.
"I'm sorry, but do you truly think that your own duty around this clan is hunting? Have you learned anything from your training as an apprentice? Despite you not being directly placed on a border patrol, you should still survey the territory for any predators or anything that could cause harm to one of your clanmates! If the fresh kill pile is full, then why haven't you found at least one thing around camp to do to help better Shadowclan. Is it really too much to ask for that? Too much to ask for you to stop watching kits, that will very likely be playing all day, for a few seconds so that you can better your clan, or help protect it?"
There was anger in his voice now and he had to clench his jaw shut after speaking, shaking his head.
"It's a shame that it's becoming so much of a hassle to get warriors to do their duties. It's almost as if no one gives two foxdungs about Shadowclan anymore, the pride of being a warrior."
Exhaling sharply through his nose, the black and white warrior with the long scar on his shoulder shook his head, turned around, and began walking with his slight limp back to where he had dropped his prey, settling down slowly, the look of frustration and anger still on his face.

When it was his turn to yell in her face, she did nothing but stare sternly up at him, her fur obviously still singing from anger. She growled lowly as he talked and she turned her to the side, her ears seemed to hurt as he nagged on. He told her to go out in the territory to ward off predators and/or enemy cats. She knew well then to do something like that. She wasn't named after breeze just because of how fast was, she also was, like a breeze, very fragile and lithe. One major bite or scratch could either cripple her or kill her, and she didn't plan on going to StarClan that day. Guarding the clan and a predator or clan cat comes in? Check reason above. This cat needs to know about the weaknesses and strengths of a cat before yelling in their face. She growled in her head. As he finally began to walk away, she quietly mumbles, "If you weren't in the same clan as I am, you would have already been clawed up." His long scar caught her attention, as well as his tiny limp, to which she hasn't noticed before. She huffed in his direction. She swirled around and allowed her back to face the tom. He can't tell me what to do. She began to once again not do her duties and closed her eyes, once again, simply out of spite.

Jaysong had muttered something about the leader's den, so it was no doubt that that was where she headed as she whipped around and stalked off. Mistkit just sighed.
Of course, the most predictable thing would be to go and hide where Jaysong had already looked so she wouldn’t look there again, but anyone who knew Mist knew she was unpredictable. It was risky, but she would go hide somewhere where she could spy on her mother and whatever she was doing in the leader's den. She did a quick once-over with her grey-blue eyes and raised her body from the crouch position she was in.
According to herself, she was basically a pro stalker when it came to lurking around places she wasn’t supposed to be. You can’t be seen by anyone or else they might rat you out to your mother, or worse; your older, more accomplished sister. She shivered at the thought.
Another pro tip was to not spend too much time in one spot, a it you make noise you will be more easily spotted. The was she applied that into the moments situation was simple, hop onto the bigger, flat rocks that lined closer to the clearing than the smaller ones by the forest. She knew the unstable ones by heart, and jumped seamlessly from one to the next, up to a higher rock.
Mistkit only made one mistake.
She forgot a specific rock.
And she went
rolling,
rolling,
rolling,
Down the rocks,
Down the peabbles,
Onto the damp earth of the forest floor..

If this was what she thought it was, she'd honestly be thrilled.
Peering around the clearing, she couldn't exactly spot her mother at first, and then realized how incredibly hungry she felt. Her hunger had also increased a lot, which were also symptoms she'd seen in her mother before. She felt like she had to eat all the time to keep herself satisfied. It was nagging her. What was nagging her even more, however, was that her abdomen was getting bigger and heavier by each day.
Passing over to the fresh kill pile, Moondancer decided to wait for Jaysong to get in sight. Whilst she was waiting, she'd eat. She'd find the plumbest fresh kill in the pile, sit down in a nice cool area, and consume it. Good plan, yes.
Whilst going there, she also looked around for her very good friend, who had become more than just a friend a while ago. Ocelotpath didn't seem to be around either, atleast not now. That bothered her. She felt like having that warm feeling she got around him. It would be nice. She loved him dearly. And she were sure he would also want to hear if her suspicions were true.

@Lonestar23 @Spirit @KKShift

A tall Russian blue she cat slipped into the clearing out from the warrior's den. Yes it be strange to see a queen coming form the warriros den but lately the senior queen had been yearning to be out and about. Nowadays she mistakes the warriros den for the nursery, it was becoming more frequent. She was afraid she'd hurt mistkits feelings at some point so she stayed near her kit at all times as a reminder. Polarpaw didn't need her help anymore, she didn't need to keep a keen eye on polarpaw just yet and moondancer was old enough to be having kits besides, she was deputy. It was mistkit that caused her stress and aninxt. And admist that the delusion and forgetfulness. Mistkit was a small bump in the road, one she truly enjoyed but set back her journey quite a few steps. The slender feline scanned the clearing with glossy eyes, she was exhausted. Wrangling up her kit
every second or two was getting tiring especially on her old bones. Not that she'd admit her weakness. She thought she was invincible. And wanted her sliver of belief to stay that way. Jay song raised her eyes to the nursery, peeking in the small opening form across the clearing, by now mistkit would be hanging out there or already gone. concluded jay song with a long huff. Another game of hide and seek. thought the queen. At least it gave her a chance to be moving about. Mitskit was and excellent hider, it was strange how a kit this young could magically just disappear in thin air. At least that's how it felt most of the time. Jay song really had to consider the places she'd check for mistkit, she would rarely hide the same place twice and hence jaysongs struggle in wrangling her. Though it reminds me of myself, I cannot say I experienced what my own mother experienced. Stress and struggle. Well not until I had mistkit and she was walking. Just as the feline was about to trot off to her suspected hiding spot she saw her other daughter out of the corner of her eye. A deep purr rumbled in her throat and she tunred. Moondancer! She picked
up pace and set finding mistkit into the back of her mind, generally mistkit would be drawn out by her older sister. She spotted her kin looking around, a look of confusion and boredom written over her daughters face. Surely I can cheer her up. No? the queen slipped in next to her daughter not even expressing a hello beofre getting nice and comfy next to her.bumping shoulders and then licking her cheek. "You look pale! What's wrong, feeling sick? Tired? Is Deputy taking it out of you? If halestar thinks she can over work you too much I'm afraid she'll have to find another deputy!" snapped jaysong suddnely getting defensive. Her shoulders tensing up as if she was going to spring up and stomr towards halestars den. Then she heard the clatter of pebbles. Her large ears swivelled with ease and suddnely her attention was focused on the bramble wall that faced the forest and the small rock wall. Her face pulled into a worried expression. "She wouldn't dare" she whispers under her breath. Teeth clenched in fear and body tense.
She turned towards moondancer.
Sometimes jaysong could communicate what's wrong just by looking at someone. She had a very expressed face. it meant her face gave away lots, emotions being the most given away information. Now it was worried. If mistkit really did go where she was forbidden to go.. What could happen. I have never caught her there. Hence my confusion. Maybe she has gone up there before. Maybe I just havnt caught her doing it. she froze.

She scanned the overhang nervous.

He thought playfully, eying the other kit's white tipped tail. Thornkit saw his chance when Volekit tripped and hit the ground of the clearing. He leaped forward and pinned his brother to the ground with his powerful paws. "You run fast like a squirrel but I will always catch you like prey!" Thornkit yowled. The only person that Thornkit cared about was Volekit, he loved him deeply while he hated everyone else around him. He hated Shadowclan because of how they treated him and Volekit especially since they tried to bully Volekit everytime he wasn't around. He also hated their parents since Iceclaw acts like they were some strangers kits and Shrew always looked at them with hatred. Thornkit even hated their older siblings who never bothered with them like Iceclaw. But someday Thornkit planned on becoming an amazing warrior and maybe even leader some day, then no one would look down on him and he would make anyone who harmed him and Volekit pay.

Thornkit watched Volekit for a second and then stepped off of him and let him get up. "Do you want to try to catch me now?" He asked and looks at him with kind eyes that he never looked at anyone else with. Volekit would probably be better as the chaser since he was so fast but Thornkit has more balance then him. Even for a kit he was already showing his agility and promise to become strong.
[
The brown and white tabby laughed at Thornkit as his twin called up to him. He claimed that despite the smaller kit being faster, he was still going to be caught by the bigger kit. "Yeah right!" He yowled, a playful mocking tone in his voice as he did so. Volekit knew that Thornkit would soon catch up to him - he always did. Their games seemed to short due to Thornkit usually winning quickly. He'll make a great warrior. I'm sure he would even become leader someday! Maybe I could even be his deputy! His tail puffed out at the thought. Volekit wasn't sure he could be a leader, but he did want his brother to become one someday.

The small kit was pulled from his thoughts as he suddenly tumbled and fell. He giggled some more as his twin quickly pinned him down. "Fine, fine, you caught me!" He laughed. The tabby was use to loosing, but he never minded since he loved his brother so, and was proud that he was already showing signs becoming a great warrior. I wonder if Shrew would be proud? Despite how much she seemed to hate them, Volekit still cared for his mother. He didn't love her as much as a kit would for a caring and gentle mother, but he still liked her. She was their mother... even if she hated them deeply.

As Thornkit then stepped off of Volekit, giving the latter a chance to get back to his clumsy paws, the white and brown kit scrambled to stand up. Thornkit was a good head taller than Volekit, making his look up in order to gaze at his twin's face when he spoke. Light ears perked as Thornkit offered to be the run to run away. The smaller tabby cocked his head at this. They didn't usually play that way. Volekit was the fastest so he was always the runner when they played their version of tag.

But after just a few heartbeats, he gave an enthusiastic nod. "Sure, if you want," his tail curled up, his ice blue orbs shining. He would do anything that his twin wanted. Volekit feared that someday Thornkit would surpass him and figure out that he didn't need the smaller twin anymore, leading him to leaving Volekit behind like Iceclaw had left them and how Shrew neglected them. So he tried to please Thornkit. He wanted to impress him - but he doubted he could, and he usually aimed just to do whatever he wished... besides, he didn't care what they did if Thornkit was happy.

( @Marble @Spirit (?))
The only thing that slipped from Mistkit’s mouth as her frail body started to plummet through the air was a squeak fit for someone three times smaller than her, cut off too soon by a thump that raddled her brain and would haunt her forever. She was almost certain she could hear the crack of every single bone in her body breaking, cracking under the pressure of gravity acting upon her brown and silver pelt. Was this it? Had her moons of acting up finally catch up to her?
She could see her mother's face through the blackness that clouded her. Was she really there? Was it all a dream? Maybe this whole thing was a big nightmare and soon she would wake up and it would all be better, she would be curled up next to her mother. Moondancer would be coming back from a patrol and check on them, maybe even give her a badger ride…
Oh, how she wished it was a dream. How she wished she could go back and not made the fatal mistake of running away.
I’m sorry Jaysong.
The simple words were all she could think of as she lay almost lifeless. Her eyes were glazed over. She could see what looked like figures coming to get her. Was it her time? Were the cat’s coming for her to bring her up to Starclan? Hopefully not. Moondancer would never forgive her. Neither would Jaysong. They would all me mean, mean, mean, mad. Maybe Halestar would keep her from becoming an apprentice, oh how she would hate to be a kit for the rest of her life. It was definitely in her best interest to stay alive then. She took as deep of a breath as she could, and muttered all her body would let her.
“Jaysong…”

(Looking through a kit’s brain… xD. Kinda short but just excited to finally progress this roleplay. I haven’t heard back from Kestrel but I have asked if she could make an opening for us.)
