Tigerpaw entered the clearing after checking the apprentice’s den. He found that Fairypaw and Stormpaw weren’t definitely there, and he feared that he might get a mouth load from the both of them. Mainly, Fairypaw. When he entered camp, he threw smiles at every cat he passed, before sulking his way to the two females.

‘’Hiya girls!’’ He called and gave both of them a brilliant smile. He easily found them under a shaded tree, bored as ever it seemed. He winced at the way Fairypaw was giving him a stern look. She went up to him, though shorter, she held her tail high in a dominating position.

‘’Where were you!?’’ She screamed at him. ‘’You’re never out on a run this long!’’

I can’t tell her where I was, the tom backed up a bit, chuckling to lighten the situation. ‘’Practicing.’’ And, he smiled with his fangs.

‘’Practicing?’’ Fairypaw repeated. She figured he was. Then again, why ever did he take so long to practice? She took a quick glance at their friend, Stormpaw and she turned back to Tigerpaw. He had a knowing look and he went up to the female, an apologetic smile on his face.

‘’I’m sorry for the way I reacted...earlier.’’ He says, and bends down to nibble on his paw. He felt uncomfortable already, and he just got back! He awaited to accept her apology, hoping that it would be there. He quickly added, ‘’I promise to never step out of line again.’’ He gave a mischievous grin and winked.

‘’That’s what got you slapped in the first place.’’ Fairypaw stated, confidently. ‘’It’d be funny if I could see it again.’’

‘’Ah, come on!’’ The tom complained. ‘’Don’t start that now! I just got back. We should throw a welcome back party.’’ He joked. Fairypaw rolled her eyes, but she was grateful that the tom was okay, and he looked well. He looked extremely happy as if whatever happened earlier never took place. Fairypaw found this suspicious but she didn’t comment on it.

Instead, she asked him, ‘’Are you hungry? Did you eat?’’

The tom shrugged. ‘’I’m alright. I just wanted to hang out with ya’ll.’’ And, turning to Stormpaw, he smiled. ‘’And, I’m sorry for the way I acted. If you’d like we can definitely start over.’’ He edged closer to her. ‘’Then, I’ll be a good tom.’’ And, he stared at her facial features, admiring the pretty blue orbs, and her silvery fur. She was a small thing, that’s for sure, but she was a spit ball of fire. Especially for something so pretty. ‘’But I can’t promise that I’ll stop...complimenting you...I mean it’s in my nature.’’ The tom chuckled.

Fairypaw once again rolled her eyes. And, she sat there annoyed, yet she was pleased and she hoped that the two of them could get along. And maybe along the path, have a bright future ahead of them.

The silver female looked suspicious at his sudden return and, like Fairypaw, got to her paws and approached the tom, a calmer look on her features. She looked almost exactly the way she had before she had slapped him in the face the last time and-- for a moment-- looked as though she were about to do exactly that before a look of relief passed through her icy hues and she seemed to half-collapse. "Practicing doesn't take that long. Especially when there are two cats waiting on you to get back." She mewed in a calm, level tone, never wavering in either direction. She desperately wanted to know where he had actually been...but she wasn't about to ask him.

It could be personal. And she wouldn't want a cat like him prying into her personal details, would she? "I accept your apology. And...maybe I overreacted. Just some bad memories." She shrugged, before giving him the smallest of smiles. It wasn't much, but at least it was there, and showing that she actually cared...though did she? She wasn't quite sure how much she cared for the tom. She did a little, she supposed. After all, a bonding experience like slapping someone in the face was sure to make them the best of friends. And if that didn't, what else possibly would? "I'd be glad to show you. Though maybe not so soon. I'll wait until he steps out of line again-- and then I'll show you. I'll even teach you how to do it as ungracefully as me." She mewed with the smallest of smiles creeping up onto her maw. She liked hanging around these cats, though Tigerpaw bothered her somewhat-- practicing wasn't a valid excuse, in her opinion, though she hadn't wanted to call him out on it right then and there. Perhaps later they could have a conversation.

About telling the truth, not to mention stopping flirting. What was the point? If a she cat wouldn't accept you the way you were, they weren't with a minute of your time. "Good boy. But-- I wouldn't recommend complimenting me and stuff. Not a good past in that area. Triggers some...unpleasant memories, like I said before. And you're liable to get another good slap in the face. Though hopefully I can control that." She mewed with the slightest shrug, before glancing over towards Fairypaw and winking. A slight flame aroused in her ice-cold hues as she looked back at the tom, raising her head so that she looked more warrior-like and a smirk slid onto her maw as well, showing quite a bit of pride in that as she glanced at the tiger-striped cat.

Sparkpaw sat down and surveyed her clan. All was more or less normal. She sighed. Well, NOW I'm bored, she huffed to herself. Her calico tail twitched as her shoulders slumped. "Ugh." She muttered.

Mistkit's tail twitched as she dreamt. She was in a small grassy clearing chasing a squirrel. Just a second longer, and I can outrun it, she was thinking. She lunged for the squirrel but was knocked out of the air by a heavy weight. She thumped to the ground. She rolled over onto her back, wincing from the imaginary pain in her left front paw. Then she looked up to see who had hit her. But no cat was there. Her squirrel was gone. She stood back up and was suddenly thrown back down to the ground. She rolled over and over, the grassy ground going from soft to sharp. She blinked open her eyes. In her sleep, she'd rolled out of her nest! She blushed and looked around. At least no cat was watching.

Now,she knew she wasn't the only one worried about the whole no medicine cat and deputy thing,but she wasn't really worried. She had been alive before Gyrestar was even made leader,she had seen Thunderclan under Ashstars rule,she had seen it during the Era but Thunderclan had always manage to rise. She was much older then Gyrestar,being a senior warrior. While naturally anycat would be nervous for her clan and become antsy and bug the living daylight out of their leader in worry,she was rather calm on the matter. She pittyed the tom; he's probably losing a life just from stress on the situation. So here she was in the clearing,planing to give the tom reassuring words. She figured a leader already had enough stress on them as if was,so she thought her words but put some ease into him. She padded up to him,the snow of leaf bare crunching under her paws as she walked. She dipped her head respectfully with a small smile,"Hello Gyrestar,how have you been doing?"

She figured the tom would reply with the typical 'good' or something but she would surely call him out on it.

Gyrestar's head cocked and eyes flashed wide in shock, the newcomer's voice like lightning through the grey clouds of thought in his head. He searched momentarily for the she-cat, even though she was nearly right in front of him, and made awkward sounds and shuffled around when he found her. His head tilted down into his chest and lips pursed out of more awkwardness while he forced his pelt to lay down from where it had fuzzed.
"Well, that's kind of... self explanatory." He meowed after clearing his throat. The tall tom looked away from the mottled she-cat and at the still clearing, as if a part of his explanation was there.
