A gray tabby tom sits in the clearing, looking for the apprentices den. "They all look alike," he mews puzzledly. So he heads off toward one.

The gray tabby tom, now named Lightpaw, padded into the den, wondering which one it was. He was new here, so he didn't know his way around. "Hello? Is this the apprentices' den?" called out the tom. He started listening for a reply.

Goldenpaw glared at the tom from a corner. "Great. A new apprentice, another annoying cat." She mewed scathingly. "Your acting like a kit, of course this is the apprentices den you mouse-brain." The honey coloured she-cat continued.

"Hey," yowled Lightpaw, "Don't be mean! All of the dens all look the same, and I just came in yesterday, and I don't know which is which." "And plus, I'm not annoying."

Goldenpaw smirked. "In my opinion a cat that comes in a den and randomly starts shouting, waking me up, is annoying." She flicked her long fluffy tail with annoyance. "Now that I've woken up, do you want to go hunting? You woke me up. so you have to come with me."

Gyrestar leapt atop the Highpeak, the morning sun bathing his tall, willowy figure as he readied for the ceremonies.
''Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join my beneath the Highledge.'' He sited.

"You have reached the maturity to be apprenticed. From this day and forth, until you become a warrior, you will train tenaciously as Remorapaw. Honeyvenom has proven to be fitting for an apprentice, and will accustom Remorapaw to the ways of the Warrior Code."

"This apprentice has trained diligently to the ways of the Warrior Code, and I call upon his ancestors to look down upon this cat as I honor him a warrior's name in turn. Cuckoopaw, do you promise to hunt and fight for ThunderClan to the utmost end of your life?"
"I do."
"Then, in the face of StarClan and ThunderClan's own dominion, I grant you your warrior name. Cuckoopaw, from here and forth, you will be known as Cuckootree. This Clan honours your undying loyalty and kindness."

Finally! Remora smiled, glad that they had at last gotten their apprentice name. I can't wait to tell Smallpaw... Thinking a silent "thanks" to the leader, Remorapaw bounced off to find their mentor.
