His tail would twitch out of excitement, causing it to make a swishing sound and he would have to cease. He was only a few foxtails away from his prey. The cat he has been stalking appeared to be of young age. Nero has killed many cats around his age before, so he no longer has much remorse to killing a cat so young, so in their prime. This is what happens when you don't follow the code... Finally, the shuffling in the vegetation decided to show itself. It wasn't a harmless little bird or mouse. It was a towering pale ginger tom. And judging by his slight growling, unsheathed claws, swishing tail and bristled fur, he wasn't a friendly cat.

The small apprentice felt his stomach drop completely. He had realized that he was indeed in serious trouble. This newcomer was not who he had waited for. Judging by the others stance he wasn't in a friendly mood what so ever. Clearing his throat slightly he shakily got up taking a step or two back from his opponent. "I-i can explain why I am here! Will you let me do as much?" He squeaked his eyes wide with fright and a mingle of fear. Gentle whispers of the wind flicked at his ears causing them to twitch with each stroke. Kisa's jaw was gaped open as if he was going to say something else to this stranger. He knew that any moment anything terrible could possibly happen. He for once in his life felt afraid of the ideas of dying right here and then. What else could he do running wasn't the best to go at things and fighting most certainly wasn't. He felt like a fool for leaving his clanmates a moon or so ago. He missed his mother and other littermates but what was done was done. He couldn't go back and change his mistakes he simply had to move forward. He had to face this angers cat headstrong.

The ginger flicked his massive tail and approached the cat with stern eyes. He finally opened his mouth to speak. His voice was very low and chilling, it seemed like every word he made rumbled the ground below them. It also sounded fairly exotic. "State your purpose here, then." he growled, flexing his claws. "Are you a clan cat? Or are you just some outsider?" Nero is not a merciful cat. He was a brute who wasn't afraid about painting his claws with another cat's blood. His orange eyes were merely slits, looking down at the young cat. He was ready to claim this cat's life, but he had to hear what he had to say first. Some cats didn't intrude on Syndicate territory due to being crazy enough to head deep into it or they didn't know they were intruding at all, some sought the purpose of joining the Dusk Syndicate. He would never frown at an outsider joining them, a Dusk Syndicate cat is a Dusk Syndicate cat through and through, whether you were into it or not. So, he will grant the young tom to speak, for it may be the last words he may speak.

Eventually, they had both irritated each other to the point where a physical fight nearly broke out. Yes, it's possible, ladies and gentlemen, Augustus can be angered. Though it takes a lot to get on the nerves of the skinny tom...

He faked offense when she insulted his appearance. Augustus leaned back, his mouth gaping and his eyes narrowed. He simply scoffed and shook his head. But then he returned to standing normally - tall and proud. When she finally finished talking, he released a low groan, flicked his tail-tip, and rolled his eyes. ``First of all,`` He stated firmly, ``I am not ratty - well, maybe. Second, whoa, chill... I was only offering suggestions!`` Now, both Jinx and Augustus were playing a game. A game to see who breaks first.

Of course, being the cocky tomcat he is, Augustus was positive he would win. After all, he already is. He knew Jinx was frustrated with him, and he liked that. He enjoyed causing annoyance. Meanwhile, his irritation level was lower than low. In able to do what he does - irritate others - he must be incredibly patient, and he is. Good luck, Jinx!
After his short statements, the ebony feline huffed, and looked into the darkened forest. Couldn't the day go by quicker than it seemed to be. How long has it been now? Days? Feels like it, she thought bitterly to herself before allowing her yellow hues to rest on the thin fighter. "Now, I have a suggestion," she spoke lightly, almost offering the smallest smirk in attempt to intrigue him again. Although she quickly shut it down, assuming she saw interest in his eyes. "Take me back to camp or I'll start walking in a random direction until I find something or someone," the tone in her voice had dropped into frustration. Jinx wasn't the type to say things she didn't mean. If she said she would just start walking in some random direction, she really would. She personally didn't care where that direction took her or what she'd encounter. Anything to get this feline to cooperate with her, or at least point her in the right direction. She was walking the forest aimlessly before their encounter, so it wouldn't be any different now.

Augustus knew play was over, but he didn't want to admit it. Jinx was obviously a cat of her word - her frustration and serious nature made that much obvious - even to a rather naive-minded tomcat like Augustus. He threw his head back, releasing a low groan of irritation. He stayed in this position for a few moments, blowing out a large cloud of breath, and then he let his head drop to look back at her. He huffed once more, his eyes narrowed as he stared at her. He moaned once again in disappointment, before shuffling a few steps in the direction of camp. His lanky figure and black pelt resembled a shadow in the dark forest. He looked back at her.

``Fine. But only because your my best friend. I don't want you getting lost or anything,`` Augustus flashed her a wink before he burst out laughing at himself. ``Sorry, that was pathetic. Hey, I'll race you? Ready, set, go!`` His words left his mouth so quickly, there would be no openings left for Jinx to speak. He didn't know if she would follow him; after all, she appeared to despise him, why would she feel the desire to follow him? Oh, right, to get back to camp like she wants. And so she would follow him, he was sure of it. And when she did, he'd beat her to camp. Not only because Augustus owned a structure built for running, but because Jinx didn't know where camp was. You smart fox, you, Augustus mentally complimented himself as he started towards camp.

The paws of a light grey cat padded softly along the ground, barely making a sound. The she-cat looked around caustiously, her eyes alert and attentive. If Tundra were to be honest, she actually didn't fear most cats in the Syndicate. When it came to fighting. As much as she didn't brag, she had to admit she was probably more skilled at fighting than most cats in the Syndicate. Although, that mostly came from spending most of her time practicing. Since the Tundra didn't like talking, she fought with whatever she could find. A tree, a rock face, or nothing. They were ideal opponents, but it would soon prove useful if she were to be attacked.
What Tundra was really worried about, was a few cats of the Syndicate that she really saw as a threat. Such cats like, Hannibal, Onyx, Halite, Boreas and Hades. They were rather intimidating in her opinion, and she doubted she would ever want to RP with them. But they weren't the only thing she cared to be caustious about. In a way, she was caustious around all cats of the Synidcate.
Mostly because she didn't want to talk.
She hated talking. Tundra was socially awkward and she always struggled to get the words out.

Sighing, Tundra looked around, her guard dropping slightly. She looked around at the eerie territory and surpressed a shudder. The siberian just wanted to at least live in a territory that didn't give her the creeps each time she stepped into them.

@Duskflight
As silent as the wind sweeping through the tree's, dark paws carried the infamous cat through the gloomy territory of the Syndicate, his dim figure almost seeming to mold into the shadows from time to time, the only thing that would give away his presence were his eyes that glinted like a flame in the sunlight. Sometimes, when things got boring in the clearing, Hannibal would go for a walk in the territory, sometimes he happened upon some unfortunate soul out here alone, whether it be prey, a trespasser or another member of the Syndicate.. Though really.. All of them were prey to him, if he were to be truthful. However the first two were more likely to be his meal than the last, but sometimes cats had to be quieted before they spoke too loudly of something they shouldn't be sticking their nose in.
There was the softest brunch as his paws stepped on a twig, but he knew he was close to someone, sometimes he liked to sneak up, other times he liked to let them know he was coming. Perhaps it would get their heart racing out of fear to know he was coming, or perhaps they would stop whatever it was they were doing to pay attention, and sometimes, they would run. Hannibal didn't particularly like it when cat's ran and it usually made him want to give chase, so that he could track them down and kill them like prey. If they wanted to run like prey, then he would treat them as such. Though luckily enough, few cats ran.
Regardless, one sniff of the air told him who he was approaching. Tundra. It had been a while since their last interaction. Time to begin taking some more notes on this finicky, quiet feline.
"Greetings Tundra. It's been a while, yes?" meowed the tom in his usual tone as he stepped into the light from the darkness he had been traveling in, his eyes almost seeming to glitter as if stones filled with fire, focusing directly at her, meeting her eyes and staying fixed there.

Jinx let out an exasperated moan of annoyance as the feline that was supposed to be taking her back to camp took off. She wasn't going to play this little game. Her paws were hurting and she knew she wouldn't be able to even match his pace, so what was the point of trying? She was simply going to track his scent on the ground. Of course with his long strides there were moments where she got a little off track because the scent had a break, but the moment she picked it up again, she continued on her way. Jinx merely hoped this tom wasn't going to throw her through a loop. Oh, she'd probably leave the territory if she had to put up with another game.

The ebony she-cat continued on her way. It was a slow pace, but she was following his scent, praying it would lead her to camp. She got the general direction, so if she got the least bit suspicious about this trail, she would head in the initial direction he had bolted off to and hope for the best.

The siberian she-cat used the claws of one paw to entertain herself by clawing at the hard soil. Why was it that everything here seemed to be so hard? It really did send shivers down her spine when she stepped out here. Out here in the territory, Tundra was quite sure that she was alone. There was probably a cat somewhere else in the territory, but she was pretty sure that the area she was in was quiet.
A sudden voice broke through her thoughts and she froze. It was a voice that she recognized way too well. Stiffly, she turned around to face the gaze of Hannibal.
"U-Uh y-yes," Tundra replied quietly, her voice quivering. Fear reflected in her yellow-green hues and she desperately tried to push it all back. It was a weak attempt though and the siberian could do nothing to prevent the cautiousness and fear that flooded around her.
Their last meeting hadn't gone very well. Tundra had already known who he was and with only a few words he had caused an immense amount of fear to flow through him. The fighter knew what Hannibal was capable of and she had never been able to take it in very well. No matter how hard she tried, Tundra would never be able to hide her fear of the intimidating cat. He was a cat that she didn't want to ever get on the bad side of.
The fighter was almost certain that the eerie cat enjoyed tugging at her brain. That was probably what his plan at been from the moment he had met her. As much as she hated to say it, or even think it, he was succeeding well. There was little that Tundra could do about it. It wasn't like she could just ask Hannibal to stop talking to her. That would be awkward for her and she probably wouldn't be able to live long enough to hear his response.
Hannibal just seemed to be able to increase how much she hated talking. She was socially awkward and the large tom didn't make it any better for her. The fighter could only do her best to meet the gaze of Hannibal. But it was much harder than it seemed.

A beautiful white molly crouched, quiet and alone, in the grass of the territory. It was a slightly warm, moonlit night, the silver disk in the sky muffled by lingering clouds. The fighter's amber eyes stared blankly ahead and she seemed rather bored versus sullen as her posture suggested. There was a certain tom she had been hoping to see, but... no, he probably didn't care much for her anyway, nor should he, right? Her black-flecked tail flicked as she sat up, eyes alight and alert, glinting mischievously in the faint light. Perhaps she could find some loner or kittypet or something to torture. Not kill... yet, anyway, as it would be a terrible mess. Ears flicking, she gave her shoulder a brisk lick and listened to hear if anycat was approaching.

Blue hues looked around the territory, and they landed on the white molly. His only friend, as he thought at the moment, was the one sitting in that clearing in front of him. He sighed, knowing she had a thing for him, but he didn't mind at this moment. He padded out, not a grin, smile, or emotion on his face. He just padded out and sat down in front of her. "Kamilia, long time no see." he said, his deep husky voice seeming to boom but it was just him.
