Name: Hollowphantom
Age: 30 moons
Gender: Female (she/her)
Clan/Affiliation: WC
Sexuality: Homoromantic Bisexual
Appearance: White she-cat with one black paw.
Personality: [dismal] [lethal] [deadly] [best to stay away from] [sociopath]
Role: Xerxes' "evil Friend"
Other: She has Hyperdontia (A speech impediment,)
Roleplay Example: Hollowphantom. The name that scared every cat. She was back. Poison. Bloodshed. It's what the femme was known for, was it not? Rapturing every cat in sight, minus her good friends, at least, what she thought were good friends. "Not everyone is good", that's what she had to remind herself. Some would call her a sociopath, but she called it normal. Besides, isn't every cat a little evil sometimes? Ruthless blood, it ran through her family. Ever since kithood she's been this way, thursted for blood, she wanted every cat's blood, it seemed, and even the slowest of times couldn't expect her movements; she was like a python, slithering, her eyes darting over you like poison, words covering you like a veil, a veil of murder. A veil of lies. Lies, lies, lies. It's what she did best. Though she acted innocent, wasn't it clear how she got away with it so many times? She begged. Begged. Begged and begged. It's not like a cat like Hollowphantom could trick someone that easily, right? Well, she could. And she has. Oh, so many times, it's unbelievable she made it this far.

Name: Paintedwing
Age: 59 Moons
Gender: She-Cat
Clan/Affiliation: Formerly RiverClan
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance: Calico and white she-cat with bright green eyes.
Personality: Paintedwing has always been something of a mother to all cats. She doesn't like seeing anyone in pain or fear and will do her best to fix it. She will defend who she cares about with tooth and claw, and isn't afraid to make sure her enemies run away with new scars to remember her by. But she takes betrayals to heart; the betrayal and death of her mate made her lose all faith in her Clan, and she has turned to the life of a loner, leaving her kits behind to be cared for and protected by the Clan.
Role: Other Loner
Other: Haven't been the most active because of finals but since they just ended, I'll be on most of the time now.
Roleplay Example:
He's gone.
Pain shot up Paintedwing's leg with every step. Her torn pad was searing, but she wasn't stopping to lick out the grit stuck in the cut. The pain of her mate's death was far worse. Forget his death... what he'd done to her kits was far worse. He could have just said he didn't want them, he could have just said he didn't want to be known as the father. But now... everything had gone so wrong. Had the kits really been too much?
Her kits. StarClan knew she didn't want to leave them behind. But she couldn't take them with her. The Clan would take care of them; they would grow to be strong, fierce warriors. She knew they would make her proud, even if she wasn't there to see. Bringing such young cats out on a self-exile like this would just be cruel. She couldn't do that to them. She wouldn't be able to explain the blood over her paws and muzzle, the gashes over her side. How could she? How could she have told them? There was no way.
Tail quivering, Paintedwing kept her paws going, not looking back to the territory and everything she was leaving behind.

Activeness Level: Now that finals are over, around a 7

Default Re: Sycophant

I'll throw my babs in here, why not c:

Name:
Moonpaw
Age:
9 Moons
Gender:
She-cat
Clan/Affiliation:
WindClan
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Appearance:
With a mixture of white and black fur, it’s no wonder this she-cat was given the prefix of ‘moon’. The base coloring she has is astoundingly white, matching the snow that falls in leaf-bare, with tiger-like black stripes crossing her back and ending around her ribcage. Her chest is covered in black fur, and her left foreleg is coated in a black "sock". Around her face, there are black markings which surround her eyes, a stark contrast to their crystal blue color. Dotted throughout her fur and on her forehead are random black splotches that started out as a dark gray, but turned black as she grew. Her fur is sleek and short, her limbs long and wiry from being raised in WindClan. Her build is that of a slender one, albeit as she grows older she will begin to fill out more definition-wise. Her head is round with small, pointy ears that have very faint gray wisps of fur sticking out from their base. She had a long tail that sort of fluffs out at the end, but not as much as her mother’s does. Ever since the attack, however, she only has one of her brilliant blue eyes left. The other, formerly a gaping socket, is now shut tight with a large scar over it. The ear above the eye is completely tattered, straining the she-cat's hearing abilities as well. Aside from her face, the rest of her is relatively untouched, as Blazingstar has not allowed her into any battles; real or practice.
Personality:
From the moment she was first born, Moon has always been a curious little kit. She loved learning about any and everything, and always enjoyed spending time hearing stories about the old tunnels that her parents grew up in. Her mind is like a sponge, always soaking up new information that she sometimes regurgitates to her friends – even if they don’t want to listen. She is quite friendly and loves to make new friends, but can be slightly cautious of others. She has a good intuition when it comes to other cats, and can usually tell if someone is not who they say they are. Her favorite time of day is the night time, and loves to spend hours upon hours staring up at the moon. This trait continued into her apprenticeship, contributing to her name going from Moonpaw to Moonchaser. As she grew older, she became a bit more calm, but was still friendly and kind to every cat she came across. She doesn’t often just hand her respect out, as she sees that as something that has to be earned.
Role:
Skeptical Cat 1 or 2
Other:
She has always had a good eye (lol pun not intended) for reading people, and sensing certain vibes, so that would assist her with seeing the truth behind Xerxes?
Roleplay Example:
I tend to get more focused and detailed with Moonpaw since she's my main bab c:
The noise from the others arriving seemed muffled and distant, and the only thing Moonpaw could see right now was her best friend. Tawnypaw. Weeping, uncontrollably, over her physically motionless body. For some unknown reason, it made her heart ache, and tears stung at the corners of her eyes. A shiver passed through her spine and she blinked, trying to suck the tears back into where they had come from. "Tawnypaw, I..." she began, but couldn't finish the sentence. Instead, she padded over and sunk down beside her friend, wrapping her body around her as best she could and resting her tail over her back. By now, she knew that her friend wouldn't be able to see her, but at least she might feel some presence. That's all the black and white apprentice really wanted to do, was to console her crying friend. She hadn't realized just how much she cared for the feline until now, and upon staring at her, thin shoulders shivering with each whimper, Moonpaw had a strong urge to reach out and lick down a stray strand of fur and tell her that everything was going to be alright.
Before she could move, she heard a conversation going on between Blazingstar, Spireflare, and Fireflare. They were going to move her back to camp. A chill swept over her as she felt a weird sensation, then turned to look at the three. They were maneuvering her body onto their shared three backs. It made her feel queasy, although she couldn't see the remnants of her face. For not the first time since arriving back here, Moonpaw didn't necessarly want to be watched over by Surgestorm, like Blazingstar had proposed. She didn't want to cause her uncle that much grief. It was pointless to try and fight any of them though since they could not see her. Wearily, she untangled herself from Tawnypaw and padded forward, ahead enough to where she could look to her left and see Blazingstorm's face. He looked pained, and she wasn't sure if it was from the physical demand of the situation, or the emotional and mental nightmare this must be putting him through as their new leader. "I'm sorry..." she whispered, feeling ashamed.
She couldn't watch her friend suffer anymore. Not carrying for once if she woke up or not, the starry furred Moonpaw ran off, sprinting across the grasslands. Tears flowed freely from both eyes now, and soon she found herself in a tiny little wild flower garden. It was so pretty here. Everything seemed perfect, and all the flowers surrounded her with a sensational smell. I want to stay here forever, she though as she padded slowly between the color scenery, sniffling a little as her tears subsided - for now. A sudden peace came over her, and she felt as though she were ready to leave. Leave and reunite with her mother in StarClan. But she remembered Birdflight's words: It's not your time, Moonpaw.
It would be hard to wake up. To go on. Moonpaw didn't want to face the whispers and stares that would accompany her when the others saw her face. She didn't want to upset Winterwisp, or cause Surgestorm or Leopardpaw any grief or trouble. She knew that by now they were most likely worried that she hadn't come back. She trembled at the though of her uncle trying to save her. What if he failed? What if she died right now? "Please let him be able to save me. I don't want him to think this is hiw fault," she murmured, turning her face skyward as she searched the gloomy sky above her. It had grow considerably darker since her and Tawnypaw had first ventured out into the territory. Now, giant storm clouds seemed to be rolling over, and a drop of rain splattered on her nose. It was as if the sky was weeping for her, and a boiling rage burned inside Moonpaw. This shouldn't have happened. "I need to at least try to warn Surgestorm and Leopardpaw," she muttered determinedly. With that, she turned tail and took off towards the medicine den, moving just as fast as her legs would take her.

I also have Runningheart for the patrol if you would like!

Name:
Runningheart
Age:
30 Moons
Gender:
Tom
Clan/Affiliation:
WindClan
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Appearance:
With long limbs and a long flank, it's easy to see why he was given the prefix of 'Running'. Runningheart was born with unusually long limbs as a kit that he grew into as he matured and filled out his lean frame. He isn't very muscular at all in how the typical word is used, but what he lacks in brute strength, he makes up for in speed. He has short-to-medium thick fur that's pure white - just like the snow he was born in. His face narrows towards his mouth, which he took after his father. The tom is undeniably handsome, although he's very humble about it and gets nervous when people comment on it. His eyes are the color of a blue greenleaf sky, with flecks of darker blue in their depths - kind of like clouds floating by. His tail is long and fluffy at the end, which sweeps like plume across the floor when it drags behind him - which is rare, since Runningheart never lets himself appear sad or distraught.
Personality:
Kind, caring, loyal, and swift to defend those he cares about, Runningheart is one of the most noble cats in WindClan, despite him being such a new warrior. He is wise beyond his years, and tends to speak and act like it. The tom is extremely mature for his young age, and isn't interested in the shenanigans that his brother, Fourstripes, is interested in. He prefers to lead a quite life and be the best warrior that WindClan has ever had. He is extremely protective of those he cares about and tends to jump to their defense when they're attacked. Despite his being well known in WindClan, and seem as a level-headed warrior, Runningheart can become quite flustered if pounded with too many tasks. He doesn't multitask very well, and tends to have a bit of a one track mind when it comes to, well, everything. He can focus intently on one thing at a time, and tries to take on multiple duties, but it sometimes ends in disaster. He tries his best to be there for those who need him, and most times put his own needs on the back burner in favor of those who need his help - which can ultimately be disastrous as well.
Role:
WindClan Patrol Cat
Other:
Nope!
Roleplay Example:
Same with Moonpaw cause I started out RPing him with Ray, which really developed his RP posts!
A soft wind flowed around both of the warriors, the stars still twinkling ahead in the night sky as the moon rose higher. Despite time consistently slipping from his paws, Runningheart felt as though everything was on pause, and the only two cats in the world right now where him and Sandgust. He thought back to the liberation, when he had rescued his friend. Then, he hadn't known about Snowypaw, and quite frankly supposed he still didn't know him now. It wasn't like the warrior had set aside the time to ask about him; it felt as though it was a touchy subject for the former RiverClan resident. His heart ached that he couldn't give her back her brother, but a part of him was selfishly glad- glad that in this upheaval of a place to call home within Sandgust's life, he had remained the one constant, and was able to be here for her now. Just as the pale furred she-cat was muddling through for a way to alleviate his sadness, so he was too to fill happiness back into her life.
As she spoke of owing it to Runningheart, the tom took that by complete surprise. He felt as though all he had aided in was the transition, the physical aspect of getting Sandgust out of RiverClan and into the safe haven that had been WindClan at the time - before the liberation had inevitably made it's way there. By that time, however, SkyClan and their forces were too strong for Singenight, and the battle had been all but pitiful. But maybe it had been more? Having been so wrapped up in his emotions, the snowy white tom must've failed to see how else he had helped his friend, the many other ways that he had provided her a home. That thought conflicted with the majority that tumbled around inside his head, and without thinking Runningheart shook it, his maw producing a slight, but realtively hoarse, chuckle. "Oh? I think I have a lot more to owe to you, Sandgust," he murmured quietly, fixating his illuminating blue eyes on her. In the wash of the moonlight, he seemed to see her different now. Almost as if she had been with him in WindClan this whole time.
His tone seemingly taking on a more hopeful one, the WindClan warrior turned his gaze to look up at the rising moon above them. It was about three quarters full, but still consistently provided a shining spotlight down on the land and it's residence below. There was a comforting silence that surrounded them now, and as the stars danced in the sky that stretched overhead, Runningheart felt a moment of clarity and peace fall over him. Since his brother had passed away, it was almost as if the thorns that had forged their way around his heart were breaking, and for once in his life he felt truly vulnerable - although he knew for certain that he needn't be worried about Sandgust taking advantage of that. I know you're up there, brother he thought as his face remained turned up towards the radiant night sky. In response, a few gathered bulbs of light seemed to sparkle a little brighter, increasing the already soft smile that was apparent on his face - a confirmation, he thought.
"I think everything is going to be alright." Runningheart spoke these words with a newfound sense of hope as he brought his gaze back down to his friend. Moments earlier, when he had first emerged onto the moorland territory that he called home, the warrior had been lost and distraught, not knowing if he could place his unsteady paws amongst the firm ground, for fear that it would split in two and swallow him up. Dark and stormy clouds had created a barrier between the now and the future, and nothing had seemed beautiful to him anymore. Now, though, standing underneath the wash of moonlight on a rather peaceful leaf-bare evening, the possibilities of the future seemed endless. His vision seemed to be clearer and more focused than ever. With Sangust at his side, the feeling of being able to tackle the most challenging aspects of his life ahead of him didn't seem so daunting anymore; in fact, they seemed small in comparison. With that thought encrusted within his mind, Runningheart let the smile on his face stretch wider, the depths of his water like eyes being filled ablaze with a new fire that now resided in his heart.

I've decided to choose the role for Skeptical Cat 1!
I'll leave the role of Skeptical Cat 2 open for awhile as they come in later and I don't know if others will apply though.

The role of Skeptical Cat 1 goes to...
@Lilly with Moonpaw!

I found their character to fit the spot well and it seems as if the relationship they'd have with Xerxes would fit well for the role.

Don't worry though, all the others who applied still have the role of Skeptical Cat 2 to look forward too along with three other roles to apply for if you haven't done so yet!

oh my god I got so professional there that's new

Default Re: Sycophant

Name: Surgestorm

Age: 40 moons

Gender: Male

Clan/Affiliation: WindClan meddie

Sexuality: Unknown / not important XD

Appearance: Long-furred, pure black tom with pale yellow eyes.

Personality: Surgestorm is a high-energy, fun-loving tom that is always trying to make people laugh and be happy. He may be a bit overwhelming sometimes, but he does know when to somber up and act serious. However, serious situations still don't put a damper on his 'glass half full' outlook on life. He hates to tell kits, or anybody really, 'no' but will do it if he can't work out a loophole. The tom gets fed up with the responsibilities of being a medicine cat occasionally and will disappear and 'secretly' go out hunting for prey. He also sometimes goes and hangs out with the apprentices, play-fighting like he is a kit still. However, if needed he won't hesitate to drop everything he is doing and come help. The tom is extremely good at being a medicine cat and will brag and boast about it without hesitation, but it is very true. He has always been good at memorization and may know the herbs better than even Zerosight.

Role: Extra "friend"

Other: Might be a good idea to win over the medicine cat just like the leader, and might make an interesting dynamic with Moonpaw as a skeptical cat.

Roleplay Example: "Only because we love you so much," Surgestorm replied only a beat after she had cried the words out. They were entirely truthful, and he knew she was aware of that as well. To be completely honest with himself, he loved her more than words could even express. There was nobody that didn't love Moonpaw, but he was completely and utterly sure there was nobody that loved her as much as he did. Surge would do anything for her. If she could switch places with her, he would do so in a heartbeat. He knew things would be extremely hard for her from now on, and he wanted to take that strain on as his own. If only I could...
Surgestorm met Moonpaw's tearful gaze, leaning forward naturally when she stepped forward, pressing his nose to her's gently. Her words seemed to shake him to the core, a mix of emotions clouding his already pretty messy face. Never be a warrior... The words echoed in his head, bringing him back to a memory where he had spoken the same phrase moons ago as an apprentice. Of course, it had been a mental struggle for him back then, not a physical struggle. However, he could still relate to Moonpaw's feelings in some sort of wierd way. Turtleback had wanted him as an apprentice. She needed me... So, he had done as asked, ignoring his own desires to be a warrior. It wasn't that he hated being a medicine cat, it was something that he liked to do, but he had always wanted to be a warrior. He had ignored those feelings for a long time, but they seemed to resurface in that moment.
A new expression seemed to appear from no where, his yellow eyes clearing a bit. "If you want to be a warrior, then I'll make it happen," Surgestorm meowed, his voice dripping with conviction. "I will use all of my knowledge and skills, and I will get you back out there with the rest of the clan. I promise you. No, not even just a promise... I give you my word." He had given up on that dream a long time ago, but there was still time for Moonpaw to obtain hers and there was no way in hell that this medicine cat wouldn't help her.
The tom pulled away a bit, giving him space to better look Moonpaw in the eye. Knowing her so well, he was able to read her expression fairly well. "You'll be okay, Moonpaw," He meowed softly, his expression softening in a way that only her eyes had seen. "I've got your back. Forever and always."

Activeness Level: Ummm, it definitely depends. I rp Surge the most so with him probably 5/10.
