Unlike his newly made mate who bounced alongside him, Coldhearted took cautious steps. Especially now that they were in the open where there were too many other cats welcoming into the clearing. He preferred to stay under the tree, cuddled next to the feline he would be with for life, but everything took one step at a time. Now, that they were together, what would her family think? Coldhearted could imagine the furious look on Chrysanthemumshade's face when she finds out of their love. After all, the grey feline didn't like the ginger and white tom. Not that he cared in the first place. As he received a delicate lick from his mate, he bent his head down to place a lick on top of her head before he approached the food pile. His expression remained unreadable as his eyes took note of what was placed into the food like. Eventually he choose a plump squirrel, dangling from his jaws and showed it to her, if she approved of it or not.

She smiled and nodded in approval. She couldn't wait for their new life together. What would the future hold? She could only imagine! Would they have kits? If so what would they name them? What would they look Like? For sure they would grow up to be the best cats the clan had ever seen!!

"Auttumpaw," another voice crack. They didnt like how worked up they were getting over this. "I know Im not the best cat for this job, far from it," their tone was bitter, not towards to leader but towards themselves. They had a habit to nit pick everything, being a perfectionist with most things. Its just how they were. "But that apprentice-ever since she has walked into my den she has been harassing me, Halestar." it took alot for them to admit they needed help, but frankly if they dealt with Auttumpaw Daypaw felt they would rip the apprentices pelt off with their own claws. "She told me Im going to die alone, Im not good enough, I dont deserve anything," a deep shaky breath,"that Im stupid,t-that..." another deep breath,"that Im a freak for not being a 'normal' gender." their voice felt small when telling the last part. "I know Im not good enough, that I mess up everyday but I dont need some stuck up apprentice harassing me and telling me so. It hurts." They were meerly an apprentice, while they may have acted older for their age, blunt and realistic, but they were still young. They were still a young apprentice themselves, dealing wtih bitter words and negative things that could scar thrown at them like they didnt get enough of that when they slept. "I dont k-now if I can handle her alone."

Re: ShadowClan Training Ground
Padding slowly, a ginger she-cat with vibrant, emerald green eyes came through the training ground entrance. No smile appeared on her maw and there wasn't the slightest twitch of her lips signaling that she might smile. Dazzlinggaze had given up on smiling many moons ago. Why bother? There was no more point, her life was bad and unfair. Nothing good had happened to her for the past moons and most of those things had involved some sort of loss in cats that were close to her. Why was she even here? That's right, she was supposed to train an newly received apprentice. Was this cat going to be killed somehow as well? The warrior was basically cursed when it came to keeping cats safe. Somehow, one way or another, some would eventually happen and she would lose yet another cat.
The she-cat came to a sudden halt as she reached a spot that was unclaimed. Her eyes were narrowed suspiciously as she whipped around to face her apprentice. Had she still been the loud, bright cat she had been as a kit, she would be absolutely estatic to have received an apprentice. But she wasn't the cat. In fact, losing so many important cats had resulted in her becoming quite paranoid. However, it wasn't just her paranoia that made her suspect her apprentice. When Dazzlinggaze had first heard she was being given an apprentice, she was actually about to smile, only to take a look and realise who Tawnypaw was. The resemblance had been nearly enough to make the she-cat stumble back in shock. But she hadn't. Even if she didn't trust this cat, even if she was almost certain that Tawnypaw would do something evil at any moment, she wasn't going to let herself treat the young cat with such disrespect. Not being treated nicely was always going to end up hurting someone, and eventually, they would take revenge.
"I see there is clearly a resemblance between you and your....mother," Dazzlinggaze murmured slowly, looking down at Tawnypaw. No hatred tainted her voice, but instead, her eyes and words were guarded. Perhaps, this wasn't the best thing that she could've said as a first statement, but she couldn't help it. The comment had just slipped out. Well, seeing they were here to train, she might as well start. "Let's see what you know. What makes the perfect hunting crouch?" Dazzlinggaze asked, her voice monotone and somewhat cold. There was little trust left in this she-cat, and she refused to let anyone near even the walls that surrounded her.

Coldhearted gave Cloverwhisker an odd look, having his mouth muffled with the squirrel until he dipped his head towards her, and trotted back towards their isolated spot with a flick of his tail. He sat under the foliage, enjoying the darker shadows, and dropped the squirrel. He would usually hint and not eat, but now he was more than hungry. He haven't ate much all that day and was finally happy to devour a meal. He gave Cloverwhisker a quick look, wondering what she might be thinking. Yet, he himself was still speechless beyond thoughts. Never had the tom thought he would be able to find a mate. Let alone keep one, but he had no doubts that their relationship would suffice. It would work out, and they would be in love for many moons to come. Surely, they would have kits within these moons. And that was where Coldhearted tensed up. Not only just becoming a mate, but a father? The tom shook his head from the worrisome thoughts. It was not in his nature to live so cautiously. He was quite reckless himself. He took a small bite out of the squirrel, and pushed it towards Cloverwhisker in case she wanted any before he decided to lay over on his side, feeling comfortable without the company of others. Only his new beloved.

Tawnypaw hadn't slept well ever since she'd been named an apprentice, but she had other reasons not to sleep now. Aside from the budding anxiety of trying to win over the favor of her mentor Tawnypaw feared that her mother would call to her in her sleep. The first and hopefully last meeting they'd had was the night she was named an apprentice. Her mother had told her some confusing statements, and it had left Tawnypaw feeling disoriented and as though everything she knew was made of lies. Lately she'd been feeling that her mother couldn't possibly be that evil if she wanted Tawny to follow the leader's commands and to obey the warrior law. That was basically against everything every cat had told her Blazingnight was. Though Tawny didn't know the motives behind her mother's words, truly there was love in them, but also greed. The mother didn't want her kits to lead the life she did, she wanted them to be normal, wanted to keep revenge for herself. Which was silly to think of her, but Tawny was simply left in a state of confusion over where her mother's motives and identity laid. Eventually she would understand that her mother isn't and would never be the cat she was with Burdock missing from her side. That cat would soon be long gone.
The restlessness had left the young apprentice here early, though she hadn't waited long. It seemed her mentor was at least punctual. Tawny could clearly tell that Dapplinggaze was missing the animosity or enthusiasm about this session, and likely the whole training. Her golden gaze stared at the mentor carefully, watching and calculating; constantly trying to figure out what was going on beneath her fur, in her mind. Though she wasn't yet as skilled as her mother in this and simply hoped the older molly would slip up in her guarded appearance and reveal some peace of humanity within her. However, with her opening statement Tawnypaw felt her chest sink. Perhaps this cat wouldn't be able to be changed, she reminded the young apprentice of tthem. The ones who only saw her for what she looked like, for who they thought she was. They were the ones that made her so miserable here and she couldn't help but tilt her ears back in disappointment and feel as though the leader was punishing her for her existence in giving her a mentor like this. Though the mentor couldn't be blamed fully, Blazingnight had done some awful things to the clan, cruel choices and changes. Tawnypaw just happened to look almost identical to her mother. Although there were minor differences: her pelt still needed to be three or four shades darker, her chest and markings weren't as white as the past leader's were, they were more tan like her father's pelt, and rather than having a front right paw that was missing the boots, it had a tan one. Her gaze was strikingly similar, but it was flecked with green. She liked to think that it was what made her her father's daughter, but every cat in the clan seemed bound only to notice her resemblance to Blazingnight.
Rather than responding vocally to her new mentor she opted to simply obey quietly, lowering her gaze so she wouldn't have to look into the cold one that watched her carefully. She supposed her own gaze had been relatively cold as well, but it had also been hopeful. Now she didn't feel as much hope and rather a void in her chest. Carefully she got into what she knew to be a hunter's crouch, but it wasn't nearly perfect. Her rump was perhaps too high and her legs were stiff and unfamiliar with the position. She'd only practiced it a handful of times from having seen older cats practice it in the clearing. However it was good in the way her haunches were kept parallel with the horizon, the way her long belly fur brushed against the ground and how her tail was poised behind her for balance. It needed much improvement, but it wasn't an awful start. She was built with genes to make her a perfect hunter; the perfect warrior.

Cloverwhisker followed him to their little shadowy spot and sat down. She watched him take a bite of the squirrel before taking her own bite. The small She cat pushed it over to him and laid down beside him. This was amazing, just the feeling of being close to her mate made ever heart go yay! She was sure that she would always love him no matter what, nothing could ruin this. Nothing.

Creekgaze looked away for a moment, the skin under their pelt heating up as they looked away, smiling. They were close enough to hear without having to strain themself, close enough to know that they needed Pinewatcher as much as Pine wanted them. “You don’t have to know,” they began, perhaps too loud-- they didn’t always notice their volume: it sounded like a regular voice to the deaf feline. “We’ll never be apart.”

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Long, soft, and dark fur blew with a whisper, a soothing hum upon the tired form of Acornstone. They allowed their amber gaze to travel the clearing, wondering if anyone would want to talk. Having already eaten, Acornstone only wanted an aquaintance, seeing as they usually have not spoken to anyone, preferring to stay in the lonesome shadows outside of the camp. Their gaze rested upon the entrance, and they fought away the nagging urge to slip into the comfort of the territory. Acornstone sat up, steadily grooming their soft fur in boredom.

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Appledash sat in the clearing, deep in thought. He had found out only a couple moons ago that pretty much his whole family was dead. He had seen his father and one of his sisters, Butterflywing, get murdered right in front of his eyes, but he had only just recently discovered that his mother was also murdered, along with her siblings. Appledash missed his whole family very much. With only him, Butterflywing, and Crescentmoon living to warrior age, Appledash had lost hope for his family's survival. He hadn't heard anything about Crescentmoon, but his hopes were so low at this point, that he didn't even try to believe that she was alive. He just supposed she was dead like everybody else. And now Appledash lived in Shadowclan, a place where he had no family, and no friends either. He hadn't wanted to return to Thunderclan, it would only remind him of what he once had, and what was gone now. Even the name Thunderclan brought hurt to his heart and tears to his eyes. Sometimes, Appledash wished he was half-clan, so he would feel accepted at least somewhere. But no, he was only half rogue. And Appledash did not want to live his life outside of the clans. Thankfully, Shadowclan had taken him in. And Appledash was trying his hardest to prove himself to his new clan. He knew Halestar might still be a bit wary of him, but he wanted to give her every reason to doubt that thought. Even if he did live in Thunderclan at the beginning of his life, Shadowclan was where his loyalty lay now. And he wouldn't betray them for anything. Appledash knew that he might have to fight his old clanmates someday, and he was dreading that day, but he would still do it, because his loyalty was no longer with them.
Sighing, the ginger tom lifted his eyes, casting the green hues around the clearing. He was lonely, and Apple hated to be lonely. He only wanted at least one friend to make him happy, to let him feel accepted. Fat chance of that right now...
