Crowhawk, on the other paw, seemed to appreciate her words and presence all together.

Crowhawk nodded. "This land needs some water right now." He said. "Something to make it greener." That's what his hope was at least. He loved the rain. You could see him as apprentice playing in it. Now he just stands outside in it and enjoys watching it fall from the sky. He then shook his head at her next words. "No. I don't lead. I never lead." He explained. "I just don't feel comfortable for some reason being a leader of something like a patrol. You let me know when you're ready, and I'll follow you."

The black-and-white warrior looked at him for a moment and then nodded. “That’s understandable. Some cats are born leaders and others are born followers - I really haven’t found who I really am yet, to be honest.” She mentioned, uttering a cough, “I think I’m a bit of both.” Blackfrost heaved herself up into a sitting position, looking around the clearing for a moment as she was lost in thought for a few seconds. However, a gentle rumble of thunder stirred the warrior from her thoughts as she looked up at the sky, making her shake her head. “I suppose now would be a good time to head out, before the storm gets worse. Don’t be afraid to get your fur wet.” Blackfrost murmured, standing up as her ear twitched to the sounds of other cats. Her last statement was merely a teasing statement, which she was known to tease others. “Come on.” She said, glancing at the tom-cat beside her before she started to walk across the clearing, passing clanmates as she headed out into the territory.

He listened to her statement and he knew she was right, but he wasn't really a follower. He just wasn't a leader. And that wasn't an understatement. Nobody would listen when he gave order. He hoped it wasn't like that if he ever got an apprentice. He turned his head to the sound of thunder. Looks like a storm was going to hit them. The question was how hard for how long. He stood and stretch when she said they were going now and smiled at her statement. "Please. I live for the rain." He said with a big smile as he followed her out.

"Oh no please, don't apologize, it's my fault for just sitting in the middle of the clearing." Appledash told her quickly, then looked down to see what she was gathering. "Wow, that's quite a load of fresh-kill you've got there. Did you catch all of this?" He meowed, bending down to help her pick it up and carry it to the fresh-kill pile. Even if she didn't catch all of it, Appledash would still be impressed that she had carried it all the way back to camp by herself.

Brokenshadow looked at the handsome tom awkwardly. Where had he been all her life? As soon as she took a sniff of him she knew why he didn't know that she couldn't have possibly caught all that prey. "You're not from around here, are you?" she asked. "No, I didn't catch all this. I could barely catch the vole with my leg." The she-cat dropped what prey she had picked back up on the fresh-kill pile and turned back to the tom. "My name is Brokenshadow. I'm sorry if I came off as a bit rude. It's just, not easy to deal with..." she said, speaking of her wounded leg. She glanced down at it, her ears pinned slightly. "What's your name?"

Rosekit looked up at her mother, the small tortoiseshells eyes big and shiny. "Mom, what do you think my warrior name will be?" She asked. She knew she was going to be an apprentice first, but she was curious.

It made her clouded eyes hard and distant so that she could hide the pain she was feeling. There was still quite a bit of day left and she was rather at a loss of what to do. She lifted her gaze to let it drift across the clearing lazily, she saw another apprentice but she didn't feel like reaching out. She kind of wanted to be alone, but at the same time maybe having company would keep her mind off of things; especially if they were friendly. Tawnypaw seemed to be having a hard time finding someone friendly to be around. Maybe it was just a slump.

Canarypaw was drawing his paw over his face, and when he placed his paw back down, he spotted a dark tabby she-cat across the clearing, her posture giving away that she wasn't in the best mood. Canarypaw felt as if she reminded him of someone, but he couldn't quite place who. When he tried to think aboit it, the memory was all clouded and hard for him to place what exactly it was. Oh well, that didn't matter right now, did it? What mattered was that this fellow apprentice seemed to need some cheering up. And that is exactly was Canarypaw would give her. Bonding across the clearing, Canarypaw approached the she-cat from the front, so she could see hm coming. He did not want to scare her, that would be a horrible first impression. "Hi there! My name is Canarypaw! What's yours? And um, would you like some company?" Canarypaw meowed gently, sitting down in from of her so he wasn't looking over her. Being a very tall cat for his age, Canarypaw sometimes hated it when he just towered over his fellow apprentices. He thought it made him look intimidating. And that was the last thing Canary was. He was the biggest goof you would probably ever meet.

Appledash frowned a little. Was it really still that noticeable that he hadn't been in Shadowclan that long? He quickly sniffed the air, and deciphered the major difference between his and Brokenshadow's scents. His scent was not exactly Thunderclan, but not too Shadowclan either. It was a little bit of a mix with some outsider thrown in. "No, I'm not originally from Shadowclan. I've only been here for a moon." Appledash meowed, ears flattening in slight embarrassment. "So I haven't gotten to know many cats yet." At the mention of her leg, Appledash glanced down at it, noticing the twisted shape. "Well, Brokenshadow, it's perfectly fine. You didn't seem rude at all. And I've dealt with plenty of rude cats before." He told her, smiling and shrugging a little. "And the name's Appledash."

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
@ Shadomaru
Blackfrost quietly padded into the spacious clearing that was completely empty, except for the very few cats that enjoyed the rain - which was quite rare at all. The warrior looked back to see if Crowhawk was still behind her as she made her way across the clearing to the fresh-kill pile. She dropped her squirrel onto the pile and then choose a small mouse as her meal. The squirrel was plump, big often to feed hungry mouths that deserved it more than she did. Blackfrost blinked over at her friend, the limp mouse dangling from her mouth by it’s tail, as she smiled at him before an evil glint was shown in her eyes. The she-cat scooped up a small pawful of mud and flung it at him with a mischievous giggle before she bounded away over to a nearby dry spot underneath a tree, laying down comfortably and enjoying herself.

Ocelotpath loved playing with his kits, but lately... it wasn't right for him to be visiting the nursery alone. It felt strange, and different. After seeing all the queens and their mates together and then him being alone-- well, not alone exactly, there was always Jaysong, but that felt strange-- it wasn't right at all. Lowering his head again so that Silentkit could climb off, Ocelotpath eyed the entrance to the territory out of the corner of his eye. Hmm... the tom's thoughts slowly began to travel in that direction. After all-- it couldn't hurt to just explore a little, right? Besides, every kit needed to sneak out once in their life. It was just part of kithood, sneaking out into the territory, doing stupid things, laughing and playing with other kits... that was another thing that bothered Ocelotpath, he hadn't once seen Silentkit playing with kits his own age other then his siblings. And, he wondered how he would do when he became an apprentice. Was he going to get along alright? Was he going to be able to make friends?
Ocelotpath already knew that if he needed to, he would take care of the bullies himself. No one was going to bother his son while he was around! But, he also knew dealing with bullies was part of life. Perhaps someday he would be ready to let go and let Silentkit do it by himself... though, not for a long, long time. It would appear that the first kits were always the hardest to let go of. He wondered if it was always going to be this way. Lowering his head once more so that he was level with the younger tom once more, Ocelotpath's hues flashed with a warm, mischievous light. "Hey, Silentkit... has your Mom ever told you about the territory?" He asked. Now, with Moondancer being deputy and everything, he doubted that she had really mentioned much about how beautiful it was. She probably didn't want to tempt them. Not only that, but he doubted she really approved of their kits sneaking out. Then again-- remembering what she was like, he second guessed that. All the same he was planning on taking Silentkit out into the territory... it was so pretty out there at this time of year, and as long as the younger cat stayed close, he should be perfectly safe.
Nothing was going to happen! "Because it's absolutely beautiful out there right now. And quiet, too... a lot quieter then out here. And, it's a lot of fun. What do you say? You want to go out there with me?" Ocelotpath asked, his own hues flashing with amusement and interest. He wanted Silentkit to want this... though he wasn't actually quite sure why. After all, it wasn't so important that the tom want to sneak out. It was probably better, really. Perhaps he just wanted Silentkit to have the kithood that he thought every kit should have. And, maybe he was trying too hard. Maybe he was forcing himself a little harder then he should. But, maybe he was doing this perfectly... and that was what he was aiming for. To be the perfect parent.

[Sorry this is super duper late!]
Silentstar. The name was one that made the owner sound silent but deadly. Silentkit was indeed silent, but deadly really wasn’t the right word to describe him. He was anything but deadly. But then again, hardly any cat could know. He never socialised with anyone else, so no one except for his family could really see what kind of a cat he was. “Bow down and kiss my paws!” Silentkit whisper-shouted, giggling softly. This was the life. Living the kithood that every kit did. The one where they all pretended that they were the leader of ShadowClan. Wasn’t that the ultimate dream of basically every kit? It probably was, except that wasn’t so accurate when it came to Silentkit. The kit had absolutely no intentions on becoming leader. Just look him! He wasn’t anywhere near leader material. He was extremely shy and had a hard to being heard. At least he had the intelligence that a leader should. That was one bonus, but it didn’t much to Silentkit. He didn’t care who was leading ShadowClan as long as they were treating everyone well and didn’t abuse the power. As Ocelotpath lowered his head again, the tom kit clambered off carefully, lying down next to his father. He made sure that there was a small bit of distance between them, after all, he was extremely small compared to him and didn’t want to get squashed.
The territory? His bright blue orbs sparkled with interest at the thought of it. He knew that the territory would be dangerous for a kit, but it sounded like an interesting place. Despite being antisocial and not very adventurous, the idea of venturing into the territory was quite appealing to the tom. It sounded like a fun yet dangerous idea. “Well, no. But I’ve heard all the other kits talking about it!” Silentkit whispered excitedly, his eyes wide as he stared up with interest. What was he going to tell him? Was Ocelotpath going to offer to take him out into the territory? Or was he going to tell him stories about the territory? The first idea sounded more fun than the second, but they were both still exciting. The young cat wondered just how many fathers had taken out their kits into the territory. Surely not many? After all, if the kit were to get hurt in some sort of way, the father would be in heaps of trouble, and that didn’t sound like lots of fun. Being the obedient and quiet kit that he was, Silentkit had never gotten into trouble before. So he didn’t exactly know what the feeling was like, but he wasn’t very sure if he wanted to know.
Quiet? It was quieter than the camp clearing? His eyes widened even more and his ears pricked attentively. “Yes!” Silentkit exclaimed in his usual way, the whisper way. It was normally hard to tempt this kit into doing something that he shouldn’t, but it was extremely easy if you mentioned that it was peaceful. As most would’ve guessed by watching his daily behaviour, he loved the peace and quiet that the world had to offer and would always make the most of it whenever he managed to find some of it. However, he wasn’t always that lucky. With a camp full of cats, it was quite hard to find peace and quiet all the time. “Please dad! Take me out there!” Silentkit pleaded, trying to widen his bright blue hues even more in an attempt to look adorable to the point where it was impossible to refuse anything. It was a smart way of getting something that he wanted. He didn’t do it often, but in times of need or extreme want, he would do it.

When Crowhawk walked back into the clearing, he wasn't surprised with how empty it was. Oh well then it meant more room for him and Blackfrost. He walked over to the pile and dropped his vole in. He then chose a scrawny squirrel. No cat would probably want it and good food shouldn't go to waste. He looked at her setting she had chosen a mouse and smiled, not knowing what was coming next. He watched her scoop mud off the ground and he knew where this was going. He managed to dodge the ball of mud that was thrown at him, watching her run. "Oh. You shouldn't have done that." He muttered quietly. Dropping his squirrel he chased after her.

"Thanks for the practice!" The tom turned away from the entrance after a moment of listening and then another laugh, catching sight of the white kitten not far from where he had tumbled around. There was a nice layer of dust on top of the tom darkening his previously pure curls, and he had certainly been woken up from Timepaw's laughter and yelling. "Oh my!" He mewed, surprised. "I am so sorry!" He frantically padded over to Sugarkit, dipping his head apologetically. The tom had had no idea that the other cat had been there, knowing most cats didn't come very close to the apprentice den.

the kit let out a startled squeak and glared at the apprentice''just watch where you're stepping'' he snapped, his green orbs flashed with annoyance. Just when he thought hed be able to relax for a bit, it was just his luck. Sugarkit licked his paw that managed to get squished in the excitement. After a few akward moments of just sitting in scilence the young tom clicked his tongue and looked at timepaw with a quizzical glare ''what were you doing anyways?'' he asked ''certianly chores cant be that exciting.'' he stated before he began to clean his curly, snow colored fur.
