And, even she would get tired of them. Lynxkit didn't know what was wrong with him. Or, them. Sorrelkit had...issues that needed to be addressed, sure, but she wasn't deadly. At least to him she wasn't. After all, that was his sister. Perhaps, she was demented...

The tom shook his head. He rid his thoughts. It wasn't like him to be focusing on such things. As he laid in the nest, he decided to get up. He knew sulking around wasn't going solve his situation. So, the best thing he did was put on a simple bright smile. A charming one that Hunterpaw had taught him a while back. Along with a few other skills that were unimportant to others, but meant the world to Lynxkit.

The toyger jumped out the nest, deciding to do something useful with his time. But, what time? Lynxkit had a lot of time on his paws. After all, he was a kit. What more could kits do? Within two more moons he would be an apprentice. Taking on training. Finally being able to spend more time with Hunterpaw--who was always out training. The tom could see himself becoming friends with many, charming the different she cats with his careless flirting. It would be a dream come true. Being given the attention he craved from others. Others he wanted to be his family. For now, the tom was alone.

As a wind blew, something went past him, and he got distracted. He began to follow it, seeing that it was a moss ball. Suddenly, his eyes grew wide, and the tom instinctively got into a crouch. With his tail lashing in the air, the tom darted up chasing after the mossball.

@Little Bird
Mothkit, who had been peacefully sleeping, dreaming of the days when she would be an apprentice, was awakened by the noise of another kit. Now, Mothkit was one of the nicest kits in the nursery, but she still could get annoyed like any cat. It was hard to be nice all the time. Miss Perfect.. Everyone had their bad days, even people who are 'miss perfects'. You can't expect a cat to do everything perfectly now can you? Mothkit wasn't a 'miss perfect', but she was really nice. But, even nice cats have bad days. This was one of those times.

She decided she wouldn't be rude to the cat, it wouldn't end well. He also probably wouldn't have noticed her yet, after all she was just lying there. So, if she startled him they'd be off to a bad start. The small orange, brown, and white tabby silently arose from the spot she had been lying. She looked over at the cat chasing the thing. Her spirits dropped, it would be hard to get off to a good start with him. She had observed him quietly from the sidelines. From what she had seen, this wasn't going to be a promising introduction.

But, Mothkit, never one to give up, took a deep breath. She focussed her gaze on the tom, and darted after him. "Can I play?" she asked the other kit, smiling at him.

Mossballs were always a challenge for him. The tom would jump after it, sometimes stumbling on his paws, and falling over. Quite clumsy, he was. Not that it would embarrass him. Lynxkit felt accepting towards his clumsy state. As long as it brought a smile on others' faces, why stop? Just because he hardly gave a genuine smile, didn't mean others had to follow his lead.

Honestly, the young tom felt alone, but he was happy to be surrounded by other cats that he could slink through and make laugh. Everything was suppose to be comical. Grand. Easy. Yet, everything was not.

However, he did not hear the other feline. So, he shrieked, tripping over his own paws as he rolled into a ball, and fell against the den's wall. His head felt dizzy for a moment, and he blinked slowly as everything started to clear up. Now, he could see another kit. A female kit. ''Uh..?'' With his back still against the wall, he managed to flip over swiftly, and shaking the dust off his pelt, he turned to stare back at her. He managed to muster a smile. ''Sure!'' He mewed, and darted his head side to side. Wherever did the Mossball went, he did not know. ''Um...'' He perked his ears.

''We'd have to tear off another ball.'' All the while, he kept a smile on his face as he trotted past her to go back to his nest. Quickly, he clawed a piece of moss, big enough to roll it into a ball. With a paw, he flicked it towards her, so it rolled her way. Hopefully, she would be more fun to play with, unlike his sister, Sorrelkit.

Mothkit leaped for the ball. She stumbled to the side, managing to hit it with her paw back to him. The ball would probably end up going of corse, she wasn't the best at games.

Mothkit was never the best at games. They confused her. But that didn't mean she didn't try her best. She didn't mind if other kits did something wrong. She didn't care if she did something wrong, in a game. Just as long as they had fun. Moth kit often did have fun, tumbling around at games she wasn't good at. Having the most fun of her life. The orange, brown, and white tabby mix would bat balls to the wrong place, but everyone still seemed to enjoy the game.

Some cats, grumpy cats, didn't though. They would blame everything on Mothkit. It made her feel awful. Her small heart would break. All Mothkit ever tried to do was have fun. The female kit would go back to her mother crying, it wasn't much fun to be playing with cats who were grumpy.

As Mothkit watched the ball tumble towards the male kit, she wiped the thoughts away. They weren't useful thoughts. For now, Mothkit needed to focus on the game.

It was time, once again to deliver her next bundles of joy. She hated the pain that came with the beauty but to see her little one's smiling faces was enough to make her continue. The white tabby let out huffs as she made herself comftrable in her nest, she had no mate to help her through this, not that she had one the last time, Dustflight didn't show up, but she couldn't blame him, would you show up to a molly's birthing if you didn't love her? The white tabby regulated her breathing, in and out, in and out, multiple things were swirling through her mind at the moment, what she'd name the kits, if they'd look like Gorsefeather, Dustflight, or the tom she met outside the territory she didn't know and in all honesty she didn't want to, she wasn't sure if her heart could take the beating if her kits looked like the first two toms, it would shatter. An acute pain ruptured through her body and she realized that it was time, her blue optics flickered with pain and joy "Soon, little ones, you will come into the bright world, and this time my loves, I promise that no one will ever hurt you..." she huffed, memories of her last litter running through her mind, Rainpaw, Zypherpaw, Morningpaw, Wildpaw, her beloved kits lives were snatched away from her, right before her eyes, the only one left alive was Phantomp- Phantom, but she failed her daughter as well, Dovecloud wasn't able to show her the light. The queen let out a gasp and smiled sweetly before grabbing a stick and preparing herself.

Mewls and coo's filled the nursery, her five bundles of joy nestled against her stomach. Her blue optics danced with joy and love, she loved them even before she brought them into this world, and she loved them even more the moment they became apart of her world. The white tabby leaned down and licked the top of each and every one of their heads "I suppose I should name you, since I have no one to wait on." she stated before giving each one a hard look. After a few seconds she smiled and looked at the first kit, pure white tom "your name will be Heronkit." she purred before she gave her son a lick. She then turned her attention to the next kit, a grey tom who had his mothers markings "Your name will be Goosekit." she hummed as she once again leaned down and licked the top of the kits head. Her blue optics swivled down to look at her third kit, sparkling with delight as she noticed it was a female "your name, dear one, will be Chickadeekit." she stated, once again licking the top of her first daughters head. She then turned her focus upon her last kit, love danced in her orbs "And you, my little one, will be Juncokit." she stated before she also licked the top of the young toms head. She was already proud of her kits, and all they've done so far was breathe and exist, but for Dovecloud, that's all it took.
The fifth kit, a small she-kit, lay still by her mother's flank. She had short snowy-white fur with thin, swirling black marks, and was the spitting image of her mother. Curled up into Dovecloud's belly, it was impossible to tell where one cat's fur ended and the next's started. The unnamed kit gently massaged Dovecloud's belly with her small, soft paws, increasing the milk flow into her mouth. A small amount of the creamy white liquid dribbled out of the side of her mouth, but she didn't seem to mind; the only thing that seemed to matter was her hunger being satisfied. Once she had drunk her fill, the small white tabby pulled her head away, her small eyes closed and ears folded, and let out a thin wail of a meow. She turned her head to her siblings and sniffed the air, noticing the same milky scent on them that she did on her. Her small kit brain didn't realize that this was because they were siblings, but she didn't seem to mind them. She curled against Dovecloud's soft belly fur and let out a soft purr.

Lynxkit didn't mind running after the mossball. With a quick movement, he managed to hold the ball between his paws for a few moments, and bent down his head to flick it back towards her. A smile appeared on his maw as he awaited the ball, with his eyes shining. Games always made the tom happy. It made him forget about everything else in his life.

''Hey,'' he called to her, looking up at her. The tom tilted his head, ''What's your name?'' It was part of building a friendship. Lynxkit felt that he would find something within. The way she hardly got mad at him, or annoyed with him. ''I'm Lynxkit!'' He purred slightly. The tom had to learn to be comfortable--which he was. He was always comfortable around others. The question was; was they comfortable around him?

The gave the other kit a look. She looked nice and friendly. It was always good for him to meet another, and become friends. That's all Lynxkit ever wanted! To make friends! Make others laugh! To be in the limelight! The tom was quite the social butterfly, and as he observed her, he could vividly remember what Hunterpaw always told him. When you meet a she cat, never let them out of your gasp.

Since, he was a kit. He couldn't quite grasp the idea of what his older half sibling meant. He had seen Hunterpaw occasionally, flirting with the other female apprentices. At times, Lynxkit would be awestruck at that charming brother of his. Aspiring to be like him. But, as he was here now...he didn't know where to start.

"Mothkit." she answered, glad this friendship was going somewhere. It was hard, as you know, to make friends. Mothkit did it quite well, but, still, it made her fell great to make a new friend.

The small molly locked her eyes on the ball as it rolled toward her. She darted towards it, grabbing the huge ball of moss. She sat in on the ground in front of her, and gave it a good hard, wack! Hitting it just right so it one t flying towards Lynxkit. Opps... Maybe that was too high... Mothkit looked up to see the moss ball flying through the air. If that hits a queen, we're in big trouble!

Frankly, Mothkit had never been the best at hitting things. This, showed her weakness. If she hit something, like a mossball, it either went too high or too low. Some would say she just couldn't control her hits. That was true, she couldn't.

Mothkit...the tom registered her name well into his head. It was an easy name to remember. Very easy. As he was about to open his mouth to say more, he saw that she had kicked the moss ball back over to her. Perhaps a little too high. Lynxkit saw this as an alert, and he ducked down, so the ball wouldn't hit him. He stared as the ball rolled a couple ways from them, and he quickly turned back to his potential new friend.

''Someone has a lot of strength in such a small body,'' He snickered, but he did hope that the ball didn't hit anyone. He debated whether or not if he should go after it. Some queens weren't nice. Some of the ones he met were highly snappish. And, not because he was him, but simply because of his mother. Since she wandered around a lot, and was a familiar face within the den. The queens were tired of watching after her litter she produced. It was pathetic, and indeed, heartbreaking.

Lynxkit allowed the ball to get away. He thought it was enough of playing moss ball, so he bounced towards her, entering into a hunting crouch. ''You know how to rough house?'' He playfully growled at her as he jumped around with his hind in the air. His hues sparkled with interest, and he wondered just how strong she really was.

Mothkit's eyes sparked playfully. "You bet!" she growled, baring her small white teeth in a playful snarl. She dropped into a crouch, ready for when he would pounce on her.

Mothkit rarely play rough house. She was often told off for doing it. She also didn't like to be rough. But in this case, it was fine. Usually it was too rough for her. Sure, Mothkit was strong, but still. It wasn't exactly her favorite thing to do. It might make her an outsider from the rest of kits, but she didn't really care.

Mothkit also didn't want to be in trouble form the queens. And boy could they be grumpy! Often they would be yelling at you for playing, or even looking at there kits. All cats(especially queens) should understand that kits are curious. They love to look at other kits.

Moth kit pushed the thoughts out of her head, ready to play fight. The small molly fixed her gaze intently on him, waiting for what would happen next.

His accusations were proven true when she informed him that is was hers. When she offered to build his nest beside hers, he was surprised.
"T-Thank you, that's very kind." Rowankit meowed, clearly grateful. He bounded over to the bare patch of ground beside Cloverpaw's nest and smiled. "Where should we start?" He mewed.
Cloverpaw began to purr loudly at the younger tom's compliment. Her pelt itched with excitement, and she bounded over to join Rowankit while her tail waved happily behind her. She herself had never built a nest, but surely it couldn't be very difficult? The red-brown tabby apprentice looked down in confusion at her nest. When she had become an apprentice, one of her denmates had built the nest for her. She had been too excited to watch the process.

``Um, well...`` Cloverpaw lowered her head to sniff at her own nest. She nudged a straying clump of heather, her whiskers twitching at the touch. ``I suppose... We just build a pile of heather and such?`` She tilted her head slightly to the side, a sign of confusion. She obviously had no clue as to how to build a nest. She sighed in defeat, looking over at Rowankit before asking, ``Have you ever made a nest? I don't know what I'm doing.`` Her ears folded back in embarrassment as she sadly admitted to being unable to complete a simple task.

Lynxkit gave another playful growl as he began circling around her. He wanted to see how much strength she really carried. She seemed like she would be a good fighter. Especially with how high she had kicked that moss ball. It sucks that they had lost it, but it didn't stop Lynxkit's playful side from pulsating through.

The tom made a sudden leap towards the female kit. Not rough at all, but quite gentle. After all, he was a kit himself. He didn't know much about battle training. Nor, did he want to hurt her. But, feeling her soft fur as he charged at her, Lynxkit could understand why Hunterpaw enjoyed playing around with the females.

To Lynxkit, they were simply play companions. A good time to have around. Then again, everyone was a good time to have around to the tom. He only hoped that no queens would make their appearance as they roughed around. If they did, they would probably be in more trouble than they would. ''Pinned you!'' He laughed, bringing his face close to hers as he flicked his tail in the air. At the moment, the tom felt like he was on top of the world. Because, after all, he had been.
