His eyes opened, blinking disbelievingly, and he released the heavy breath that he'd been holding in. He then realized Daisyshade was crying.
Concerned, he lurched forward, ``No, no! Don't cry. I love you! Daisyshade, I love you!`` Tumblestep truly did love Daisyshade - it had only taken him so long to realize his affections for her. He had felt sparks when they touched, and he felt all warm and tingly whenever he so much as thought about her. He wasn't stuttering like he usually did. Daisyshade had such an effect on Tumblestep! He didn't regret their nose touch, or revealing he loved her, but he did regret taking so long in realizing he loved her. He pressed his forehead to her chest, his head just under her chin. He nearly cried, but he remained strong for Daisyshade. ``I love you.``

Daisyshade pulled back and her eyes blinked open. The tears running free down her face and dropping off her chin onto her chest. She watched him for a moment, saying nothing, and for the first time In a moon she cracked a smile. She was laugh crying now, her sobs shaking her body and her laughter so soft and inaudible. Her eyes seemed ablaze with hope and love and warmth Its been so long. And it's been so agonizing. And here I am... The moment of clarity... He's chased away all my fears as I hope I can do for him. I love him. And I've always loved him. she thought. She began to slowly laugh, lowering her head to the side and shutting her eyes so she could chuckle to herself. What was so funny you ask? She wasn't even quite sure.
"I'm.. I'm so sorry tumblestep..." she meows. Her bubbly self was surging out in masses. Even the way she stood changed the way she laughed the way she cried made a drastic change. "I know these things take time... And I rushed it... But these things work themselves out sometimes" she said calmly, pausing for a moment to wipe away a few tears with her forepaw. "And I'm glad it did... Because I love you" she meows, breaking into another calm fit of laugh crying

I'd get sick of the camp!

Re: RiverClan Clearing
@starfall
Wolfdancer padded through the clearing slowly. She had been losing sleep more and more lately, training had been hard. But, she was a mother of what, 13 now? and she needed to start acting more like one. Golden eyes searched for one of her daughters; Foamflower. It was weird, even if all of her kits were adopted it seemed like some of her kits almost resembled her at times, Foam having some white and grey markings as Wolf had. She liked that. And with the recent news of her taking a mate and now having kits, Wolfdancer thought id be a good idea for her to check in on her daughter. She finally spotted her, padding up to her with a smile. "Foamflower!," the large molly mewed as she made her way over, grabbing her daughters attention. Once closer, she leaned a pressed a few licks to her kits forehead with soft purring coming from her. "Oh look how you have grown."

Re: RiverClan Clearing
At the acknowledgement of her mentor, Noirepaw happily made her way into Riverclan's clearing, carrying her first catch. Ever. The catch that held high in her jaws as she trotted into the clearing. Her heart was still thumping, and never had she thought she would feel this proud. Any cat her age would. Especially if it were the first prey they ever caught. Though that did not make Noirepaw a professional. She still had a lot to learn before she allowed her mentor to let her go. The she cat turned her head to catch a glimpse at the older tom. She wished she could flash him a smile, but with the shrew in her mouth, it was kind of hard. It dangled from her jaws, and it made her mouth watery. She wished she could eat it now, but she preferred to gently set it in the fresh kill pile for all to see.
The she cat looked around, admiring the other cats. Suddenly her thoughts went towards her mother. What would Wolfdancer think? Or even her siblings? Would they even care at all? Of course, Noirepaw knew her siblings thought catching land prey wasn't much of a big deal. They been there, they done it before. But, this was her first. And, she was mighty proud of the catch. She could even see herself doing more hunting techniques later on. Though, she knew that one day she would have to take up water hunting. After all, Riverclan was known for fish as their natural protein. The only problem with that...Noirepaw didn't know how to swim. She was quite afraid of the water, and desperately tried to stay away from it. Being a riverclan born cat, yet afraid to get wet? It was odd, but Noirepaw couldn't recall a time when she went towards the water and actually swam in it.
As the she cat gingerly sat her prey atop the fresh kill pile, she flicked her tail, and turned back towards her mentor, her eyes beaming. She was extremely smaller than him, not taking on a normal height of a she cat yet, but she was full of energy. ''I did it!'' I honestly can't believe I had did it...it was still quite unbelievable to the young kit, but she was still happy that it happened nontheless. ''What else are we going to do?'' She asked him. ''You know, in the future?'' he tilted her head, sitting down on her haunches across from him. She could tell that their training session was over, and she figured he had a family of his own that he wished to spend time with, so she didn't want to take up most of his time, but she did want to know their future plans. That way, I can practice before it even happens. Give him something to be impressed by!

Mistyeyes was eating a fish in a corner of camp, his name did fit him well, his eyes looked like a misty day in the forest, hard to see what was behind, except that there was nothing behind his eyes, he was just blind, but everyone went along with it, and he was a pretty strong warrior, he had followed his mentor's instructions to the letter, just as she had told him to, and this had made him into the tom he was today. Something he had always felt between his mentor and him was a bond, but a stronger bond than simply apprentice and mentor, he didn't know what it was or if she had felt the same type of bond, and he had never wanted to ask due to his shy personality, he took another bite of the fish, which he slowly chewed, savouring each bite he took.

Wavesplash smiled as she spotted her old apprentice and decided to sneak up on him.
She crouched down so that her chin touched the forest floor and began to make her way towards him. Unfortunately, she has forgotten how large she was due to her thick due even if the humidity was down, or she made her fur flatten against her body.
As soon as she was a couple minnow lengths away, she accidientally tripped over one of her forepaws and tumbled towards the blind warrior who was eating a fish.

Mistyeyes's ears perked as he heard a cat tumbling towards him, he gazed, well, if it was called that, he just blindly gazed at his old mentor before sniffing the air. "Wavesplash?" He asked, blinking as he kept his misty eyes aimed straight towards the she-cat. "What brought you here?" He asked and nosed the fish in her direction, his tail twitching slightly. The gray tabby had aged well, now taller than his former mentor, he quickly enough found her scruff and helped her to her paws. "There." He purred.

Sproutwhisker walked a few pawsteps behind her as the two of the walked into the clearing. The lean tom-cat could see the pride and excitement in her stance as she walked, showing the whole clan her first catch. They should all be proud, in his opinion, of her since this was one more cat close to being an honorable warrior to bring in prey to feed their kittens and elders. He was certainly proud of the young apprentice and was glad to see her so happy after the successful hunt. Sproutwhisker looked at a few clanmates, some were grooming and others were conversing over a piece of prey, as they passed them, giving the clanmates a gentle smile. When the tom-cat turned back to look towards his apprentice, he saw her looking at him, the limp prey hanging between her jaws. Sproutwhisker gave her a pleased smile and a slight nod of his head to Noirepaw, knowing how important of a moment this was to her. He couldn’t wait to teach her more in the future.
At this time, the black-and-white furred warrior thought back to his own training when he was her age. It was quite difficult when he first started being an official clan member. With the strict ways of Snowheart and the teasing of the other apprentices because he wasn’t clanborn, getting to where he was today was no easy task and he was proud of himself for never giving up in the end. Sproutwhisker lifted his head to look up at the sky that peeked through the trees. Would Ripplewhisker be proud of him now? Seeing him as a warrior, but also a mentor, teaching the youth of the clan to make them strong and ready to defend the clan. He dipped his head, closing his eyes for a moment, promising once again to never lose sight on his path and where his loyalties lied. That was what his adopted father taught him. He missed him so dearly these days.
Breaking from his thoughts, the tom-cat gave a tired yawn and shook his head, quickening his pace over to Noirepaw as she rested her prey among the rest in the freshkill pile. He looked at the small she-cat as she looked up at him, her eyes seeming to gleam so proudly and he smiled, his whiskers twitching slightly. Sproutwhisker chuckled slightly and nodded. “Yes, you certainly did.” He purred, “I’m so proud of you, Noirepaw and I know that all of Riverclan must be too.” Like her, he sat down on his haunches as they rested and continued their conversation as the sun was slowly going down and despite the darkened grey clouds, the clear sky did show at some patches, which casted an orange colored glow onto the camp. Her question made him think for a moment. “Hmm..” The mentor hummed, putting a paw to his chin, “I was thinking that we could try out hunting in the water tomorrow - which also brings another lesson forth. Since you’ve had no experience out in the water, I assume that you cannot swim yet, you merely just haven’t been taught yet - which is my job.” He looked at Noirepaw with a soft smile, “Does that sound okay to you? A swimming and hunting lesson tomorrow?” The tom-cat hoped that he wasn’t being unreasonable.

Wavesplash flushed under her dark fur as the larger cat lifted her to her paws, placing her gently onto the ground. She smiled awkwardly at him and touched his nose to show him where she was. "I wanted to see you. We hardly get to see each other much anymore with your new duties." Her face morphed into something sadder. "I haven't seen you since your ceremony and RiverClan's been busy." To prove her point, she looked around at her clanmates who were pleasantly going about their activities.
"So, um, I was gonna ask if you wanted to go for a swim?" Her meow was hopeful. "Of course, we'll have to be quite close to shore due to my fur and your...eyes." She winced at the last word. One thing that they had in common was that they had limits when they were fishing or swimming; Mistyeyes's blindness and her thick fur that would quickly get heavy in the water.
