Clovermist smiled, which was rare to see her do. "Hi there, Suntail! I'm sorry, I didn't notice you eating!" She meowed, scuffling her paws in the dirt. "If I realized it sooner I wouldn't have pounced on you."

Suntail sat up and looked at her,"eh, it's alright! After all my food isn't ruined!" He purred, still smiling at Clovermist.

Clovermist glanced at the frog, which seemed fine. "I guess... " She said, shrugging. "You really love frogs, huh?

Suntail listened to her and meowed defensively,"yes of course! Who doesn't?!" He walked up to the frog at the rest of it in one bite and padded back to Clovermist.

Lambkit walked in- well, rather limped in- with the assistance of a warrior. His vivid green eyes looked for the medicine cat, but- to him- he saw none. He saw a few cats and an orange apprentice. He didn't know that the apprentice was the medicine cat. "Uhm... H-Hey where's the Medicine Cat? Uh.. Kestrel-... Kestrel..." His voice trailed as he tried to remember Kestrelberry's name, huffing with each pause. He shook, his aching and exhausted muscles now struggling to support his frail body. He didn't know where to look or where to even sit. Before he could move, his legs gave out and he collapsed, a small, thin plume of dust encasing him for a few seconds, eyes closed tight as he winced in pain. He tried to stand, but his legs wobbled and gave out again before he was fully up. The 8 moon tom was too weak to now stand. He was beaten and starved for 5 moons, by the rogues that stole him from home when he was just a kit. His white and black pelt was caked with mud, claw marks on his shoulders, flanks, and neck. Some minor wounds on his face. He breathed heavily as he layed.

Suntail stared at her in disbelief,"but everyone should love them... They're soooooo juicyyyy..." He flicked his tail tip and perked his ears, still staring at Clovermist in disbelief.

Pearlstream padded into the nursery after her walk with Honeythistle. Her gaze scanned the nursery for her kit, Daturakit. The little kit meant everything to her, even more than Honeythistle. Pearlstream loved her mate dearly, but he had other mates. Other mates he hung out with other than her and Daturakit. Now, Pearlstream may sound rude and self-centered if you listened to her thoughts, but you would be upset if your mate had other mates he hung out with, right? Wasn't she good enough? What about Mothflower? Mothflower was Honeythistle's first mate. If he loved Mothflower, why bother with her? To keep her mind off the day Pearlstream called her kits name. "Daturakit!"

Goldeneye was still trying to calm himself, even after the flood. Anxiety didn't always want to be nice to him, often leaving him still stressed moons after things happened. For now, he was just eating a piece of prey, a bird at that, he had never really like birds, but, for the situation the clan was in currently, he could eat it. Maybe he should find Tempestjay at some point, thank him for saving his life. The deputy looked down again, for now he was just going to focus on eating his meal for the day. The past couple of days had been crazy, and he didn't really want to think about them. However, it was there every time he went out into the territory, only making him more and more anxious. Being in camp was the only way to calm him, taking a deep breath in, he started to look around for Tempestjay. Once he had spotted the tom, the deputy watched him, to not loose sight of the tom that saved his life, so he could thank him more formally once he was done.

[ I'm feeling the short posts today. And apparently like a month ago too! ]

Tempestjay yawned, allowing himself to just take a long moment to recooperate. Than he turned and padded towards the entrance of camp. If there was guards he'd ask wether or not they had seen him take out on patrol or something. As he padded toward the entrance the toms scent hit his nose. Tempestjay looked over his shoulder and spotted the Tom looking at him. He hissed and turned. Ears flattened against his head. He stalked toward him. Shoulders flexing and his eyes burning with some sort of envious anger. His tail,lashed in anoyance and came up to him. "Why are you looking at me?" he asked sternly.

Fallingfeather noticed the tom's awkwardness immediately, how he shied away from conversation. She decided not to mention it and simply ignore it completely, not wanting to offend. "Hi, Bearblaze," she replied with a friendly wave of her tail. As the warrior tom drew out the word 'so' she interrupted, "want to share this mouse, maybe? There's plenty!" It was an all-out lie, pretty much- the mouse was barely enough for one cat, let alone two- but the offer was sweet nonetheless.

Shaking his head, Bearblaze let a little smile cross his mouth. "Nah," he responded, knowing dhe offered just to be kind. "Thank you, though. I appreciate the offer." He cleared his throat, thinking hard for a way to keep the conversation going. Fallenfeather did seem to be trying hard to keep it, so he figured he should too. "So...." His gaze drifted to the mouse, then to the she-cat again, "Do you like hunting?"
