"Pinesap, would you mind if I walked with you? I can help you if you need it." Brightfluff mewed, nudging the elder slightly. She looked at the older cat, hoping he wouldn't claw her ears off for asking to help. She knew that the elders were normally very prideful, and didn't like to be helped too much. "I am sure that Riverclan has mice, and maybe a frog or two." She said, noticing the tom pick up some soggy prey and grumble. The brown and orange shecat flicked her ear, padding beside Pinesap.

Sagegrowl could have stopped there from her kits innocence, but she had started it, and she had to end it. "You're father, is dead." she said, her voice clear. "He's with StarClan." though Sagegrowl didn't quite believe in StarClan, she thought her kit had probably heard about StarClan. From the other kits in the nursery. From the other queens. From the elders and warriors.

Shadekit's paws squelched in the wet, marshy grass underneath, Water quickly over using the soil underneath and bubbling to the surface, surrounding his paws in murky floodwater. His pale maine coon tortioshell coat was rapidly Darkening with the torrenting rain, his thick pelt dragging him down in the weather. He watched, his pounding heartbeat vibrating in his ears and rain stinging his eyes, as the whole clan of ShadowClan evacuated the camp. Shadekit mewled helplessly as more water flooded in to chill him to the bone, he was shivering with the sharp picks of rain pelting his back. His fur was splayed to his sides and head, and his eyes were wide in fear and she stumbled forward in the rain. Shadekit still had two months to go until he was an apprentice, so his age was a giant disadvantage. Due to his small size, his legs stumbled in the splashing puddles and he couldn't run fluently enough in good weather, let alone rain where he couldn't see five tail-lengths ahead of him.

More fear flooded through with the entering water, and soon enough he was trembling as he picked the driest paths in between the rushing water. Surely, he would get swept away. Even though he hated to admit it, Shadekit wanted, no, [I]needed[I] help. Otherwise, the water would pick him up as if he was a feather. Where would he end up? Even if he got lucky and was deposited in the forest, he would have no idea where he ended up, or couldn't even hunt to feed himself. Shadekit took a step forward, and didn't see how deep the water was; he stepped in it, his ankle giving off a flare of pain. With the sudden drop, he staggered forward and landed on his chest and chin. With a small, helpless little wail, he pushed himself up with his paws. Only, his left ankle throbbed again as he put pressure on it, so fell again, his head newly soaked and plastered to his tiny frame. Trying again, Shadekit stood up on three paws, and hopped forward with his left paw tucked into his chest like he was carrying something. He stumbled a few times before he tested his ankle again. Yes, it hurt to walk on, but It seemed to be incredibly minor. Shadekit went on, tail wildly swinging for balance as he slowly limped after his Clan, fear swimming in the tears in his eyes. He had to get out of here.

Wolfpaw heard the kit's wails and dived right in to save Daturakit. "I've got you!" He pulled her up by the scruff of her neck but her paw was stuck on something. I have to swim down... The grey apprentice took a deep breath then went under the murky rainwater. Feeling around with his paws, Wolfpaw found a rock partially covering a hole in the ground. That's what her paw was caught in. He removed the rock being careful not to scrape the kit. Only a few scratches...now air... he thought. Wolfpaw swam up. "You're free now. Come on, we need to get you out and to safety. Tell me, where are your parents? Or your siblings? I suggest the first thing you do is find them but if you can't, I'll take you somewhere better than this, okay? Sound like a deal?" He tried to be friendly but couldn't help the small commanding, serious tone in his voice. Wolfpaw took the she-kit in his jaws, dripping wet, and placed her gently on a half submerged rock.

(Heh, I kinda already had Echoskip save Daturakit.)

Ebonymist nodded sharply, before going back towards Daypaw's den. "Who's next? Moonsplash is here to help."

Other cats were getting patients Daypaw didnt even think about their herbs. "Thank you," the enby said hasily. The clearing was destroyed, water rushing down like a black and murky swamp just to devour anything it touches. Mud, everywhere. Cats soaked at rain and thunder pour over head. "Both of you can help me carry some herbs, when we get to the top Ill help you start building some den for my patients." They mewed over the storm. Everything was loud and seemed to be ringing in their ears. They turned to them,"To do not eat anything, only hold it in your mouth, got it?" they didnt wait for a reply before they went into the den den, expecting the other cats to follow.

Daypaw kept scaling the hill, claws digging into the cold mud till their paws would hurt. Everything was so quiet yet so loud at the same time. You couldnt hear anything but the silent pour of the rain. How it overcasted over every single cat in sight, their pelts wet. Daypaw was shaking at this point. But it was also so loud. The raindrops felt like bullets, willing to knock anybody off of this hill for their own gain. Daypaw wouldnt let them. They had their eyes set on the top of the hill, and they finally reached it. Safety for Lambkit. On the top of the hill its where many cats were settled, there was a large tree that prevented from such heavy rainfall on them. Daypaw huffed, eyes tired and heavy. After settling to a relatively dry spot they placed the bird down that was limp in their jaws, and leaning over to grab lamb kit, tucking dry moss around him. Daypaw huffed, legs giving out and flopping next to Lambkit, eyes lidded with lack of sleep. "Lambkit, e-eat something okay? You need to eat."

Rockkit nodded and the two charged into the flooded den, quickly gathering up every last herb that was still intact, not caring about them being mixed up. Rockkit could help Daypaw organise them later. "Also, Daypaw, if you don't mind...may I stay and help you with your patients? I think the rest of my family are leaving," The grey cat glanced at his brother, Wolfpaw, hoping to get some confirmation of the family's departure but there was no reply. "But I really would like to stay...high up...I can't stand the thought of leaving everyone else behind. And...it looks like you could use an extra pair of paws...or more" He added at the end as he noticed other warriors supporting patients. Rockkit then smiled excitedly, waiting for the medicine cat's reply. "If there's anything else your patients might need, Daypaw...I will go out hunting later...or at least search around for some decent prey left behind in the waters." Wolfpaw spoke again, sniffing around the rocks to hopefully pick up the strong scent of fresh leaves and roots.

Wildpaw looked around, hoping everyone will be alright. She had felt this before. Everything you love swept away. Wildpaw wanted to cry again, instead she buried her face in her paws.
