Daypaw was currently in a rush getting herbs from their den, other cats had been cleared out and were safe upon the hill and Daypaw was the last to get out. Their ear twitched at hearing a cat step in, limping from a broken paw. Daypaw turned to the warrior,"Shadowclans having an evacuation, I need to get you to higher ground before I treat you." the apprentice said hastily. Then they remembered their broken paw. They leaned down so the warrior could settle on the apprentices back, "Cmon, I'll carry you to the top."

Redfeather looked up tiredly and shook his fur to clear the water " o *caughs* ok" he said in his deep voice. The tom settled himself on the apprentices back " t thank y *caughs*you" and closes his eyes since he was exausted from what felt like a 20mile run.

Pearlstream looked at Echoskip, her eyes warm. "Thank you." she breathed, walking closer. "Daturakit." she whispered over and over again. Her gaze was filled with appreciation, horror, and relief. Thank StarClan Echoskip had seen Daturakit! "Are you alright?" she asked her kit, covering her with frantic licks. Pearlstream was so relives. Daturakit was safe. It didn't matter to her if anyone except her and her kit were safe at the moment.

Echoskip smiled, adjusting so that her stomach wasn't pressed up against the stone. "Well, I couldn't leave a kit to drown." She said, glancing down at her expecting belly.

Rosekit frowned, but gave a teeny nod. "Right.." she muttered sadly, her tail drooping as she shuffled her paws.

Sagegrowl didn't make a move to comfort her kit. She didn't say anything. Sagegrowl just kept walking, not saying a word. She was aware of her kits sadness and disappointment, but she didn't know what to do. Not sure how to comfort her kit. Not sure how to do anything. Sagegrowl felt lost.

(I know shortsoul is helping wildlaw and redfeather almost drowned and broke his paw but he made it to the med den redfeather was worried about inkjoy and nightsky)

Pearlstream smiled at Echoskip. "Of course not." As the Burmilla cat's gaze turned to look back at her kit, it caught on the molly's expectant belly. "Especially if you're expecting." she added.

"Of course!" Rockkit managed to muster through the potent taste of catmint and juniper. He hopped up the hill behind Daypaw. "I understand" Wolfpaw replied. The late apprentice matched his brother step for step and before they knew it they had just about reached the top of the hill. Rockkit stopped for a moment and looked up at the sky, stormy and dull. "Depite this cruel flood they have given us the task of surviving, I feel StarClan Doesn't want to hurt us. They may just want to teach us a lesson...or perhaps get us to makeup with enemies? I'm not sure...but I feel they may be generous and decide not to kill many this time..." the kit sighed. Rockkit, despite having the suffix "'kit", Rockkit was apprentice age if not slightly older. He just hasn't found the right mentor for him yet. But that was okay. "Lead us to where your shelter is, Daypaw." Wolfpaw commanded, not meaning to sound so bossy.

Daypaw huffed, legs giving out and flopping next to Lambkit, eyes lidded with lack of sleep. "Lambkit, e-eat something okay? You need to eat."

"Daypaw, you okay?" He asked, fear in his eyes. He saw how tired they looked, and he whimpered with fear. He crawled and layed against Daypaw, and he waited a moment before he took a bite of the bird. He chewed it slowly, before the feeling of hunger overwhelmed him, and soon he took bite after bite, and he nuzzled the bird to the half asleep Medicine Cat. "You want some?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. He rested his head on Daypaw's shoulder, trying to stay warm by the enby's body heat.
