Fawnskip scowled when Blazingstar nudged her, casting the tom a brief glare. She wondered if he had forgotten their moment in the territory, and if he hadn't, why was he so interested in Rosethorn? Speaking of, Fawnskip wasn't very satisfied with Rosethorn's timid response. She didn't think a former Dusk Syndicate member could be so submissive, which led her to believe that Rosethorn wasn't who she pretended to be. Her whiskers twitched suspiciously. It seemed that the other she-cat would have to stay for a while, meaning Fawnskip would have to endure her.

She felt a tickle at her paws, causing a small smile to form on her face. Fawnskip wrinkled her nose, once again glaring at Blazingstar. She shifted slightly, bumping shoulders with the tom. She then brushed her own tail-tip against him, running it along his spine. She replaced her smile with a smirk. ``Oh yes! What does bring you to WindClan from the Dusk Syndicate?`` The evil, dark Dusk Syndicate. However, Fawnskip was genuinely interested in what brought Rosethorn to WindClan. Why couldn't she go to SkyClan instead, or even ThunderClan? Why WindClan? Why Blazingstar?

Rosethorn gave Fawnskip another nervous glance, before sitting down and thinking her next words over. Of course, she was here because she wanted to track down that traitorous Never, who had left her once he found out she was expecting. In this moment, Rosethorn came to the conclusion that the truth would work well for her reasons for being here. "I was tracking down the cat known around here as 'Neverwing' who was residing in ThunderClan. Like me, he had come from the Dusk Syndicate, although I'm sure our reasons were different." Rosethorn folded her ears back. "Never, uh, wing had left me at the Dusk Syndicate as soon as he found out that I was expecting kits. And when they miscarried... well, he wasn't there to help me through it." Rosethorn flicked her ears forward, frowning. "But, it turns out that Neverwing had left a short time before I arrived, and his scent had gone cold due to the rain. I didn't want to go back to the Syndicate, I had grown accustomed to how cats around here behaved so I stayed." Rosethorn finished up her tale, tucking her tail neatly around her paws and looking at Blazingstar, curious as to how they reacted. She didn't look at Fawnskip, though- it would probably 'scare' her to see how Fawnskip was looking at her.

Rowanpaw's thoughts filled with possibilities of why he had stuttered and why he was thinking of Cloverpaw so much. Did her have a crush on her? That couldn't be. But the tom had never felt the way he did for Cloverpaw before. Maybe he just cared about, but not enough to call it a crush? He turned his attention back to the molly and smiled. "I can't wait to go to the gathering and see all of the other cats. Does each clan have a different scent? I think I remember being told that, but I can't quite remember. And when we're at the gathering together, you'll stick with me right?" Rowanpaw asked. The ginger tabby tom shifted his weight and smiled.

"I-I um....yeah, I think about you. I mean....I think about everyone. Well, everyone that I meet." Rowanpaw meowed. He shiffled his paws and looked at the ground and then back to Cloverpaw. He glanced to a dark corner of the Apprentice's Den and smirked. Rowanpaw widened his eyes. "Cloverpaw, look over there!" He yowled, hoping to trick her. The ginger tabby tom crouched low to the ground beneath his paws. He wiggled his haunches and shifted his weight, ready to tackle the reddish-brown tabby she-cat.

``Well of course I'll have to stick with you! I can't let you get your rabbit-brained self follow a rival clan home!`` Cloverpaw had rolled onto her back, her belly exposed, as she stretched. Her toes outstretched, and her forepaws reached before her while her hind legs stretched behind her. She rested, her legs now sprawled against her nest. Her tail-tip flicked lazily as she looked up at Rowanpaw. ``Calm down, Rowanpaw. I was just teasing you!`` She laughed softly at his reaction, the mischievous gleam in her eyes noticeable.

Her mischievous twinkle quickly vanished into curiosity as he pointed out the corner of the den. Cloverpaw swiftly shot up, supporting her upper weight with her forearm which pressed against her nest. ``What? What is it?`` Her ears swiveled, her sharp eyes searched, and her nose twitched in an attempt to discover whatever it was that Rowanpaw wanted her to see. She rose to her paws, still staring at the corner of the den, confused. What was she supposed to see? ``Rowanpaw, I don't see anything.``

The fur along his spine prickled as Fawnskip's tail wove it's way down his long fur. Why? he couldn't help but question her mentally. His attention momentarily moved towards Fawnskip as she repeated basically the same question he offered Rosethorn. His tail curled tighter around his legs as he took in the sight of his rather flirtatious partner. Even now, she seemed to be messing with him. Why? Averting his gaze after a few heartbeats, he played it cool as he listened to Rosethorn tell her story. So, she was expecting once? She continued on and a heat burned under the leader's pelt towards the tom he didn't even know. "That just proves Thunderclan is nothing, but heartless felines," he murmured, hinting at the tensions that still ran deep between the two clans. They'd pay one day, but he didn't wish to start any battles for as long as his mother came home safely. Snowstar had no heart. She of all felines should understand family, but Blazingstar was wrong about everything.
Snowstar wasn't fit to be a leader.
Blazingstar blinked and brought himself back to reality as he stared between Rosethorn and Fawnskip. "Windclan toms won't do that to you. Most here are loyal as everyone knows their leader takes no tolerance to mistreated she-cats," he spoke. It was slightly hypocritical if anyone knew what ran between him and Sagewhisker. It was her fault though. That's what made it okay in his head.

Nightkit turned and blinked. "Really?" they mewed. "Who is it?" The black kit tasted the air, and their ears flattened and their pelt bushed. "Don't tell me it's Lynxkit," they growled.

Rosethorn offered Blazingstar a smile, that odd feeling from before returning. She once again pushed it away, sub-consciously rejecting the thought of falling in love again. "Is there anything else you would like to know?" She asked politely, eager for more conversation. It was nice to talk to someone within the clans that wasn't acting suspicious or rude to her because of her beginnings, Rosethorn mused. It was beginning to grate on her nerves at how skittish the clan cats were around strangers, something that never occurred back at the Syndicate. Of course, she'd have to get used to it. Rosethorn wasn't planning on going back to that group of emotionless sociopaths.

(Sorry if I'm taking Rosethorn's feelings too slowly XD)

"Mew!" Silentkit squealed in surprise. She fell over as the other kit continued to paw her head. She heard the "thing" make some noises and tried to move away from it in fear, but just tripped over her paws. She started to form her first complete thought: What's going on? I hope there's no danger!

Fawnskip's attention was mainly on Rosethorn now. The she-cat had lost a litter. She couldn't understand what Rosethorn felt about the miscarriage; she couldn't even understand why Rosethorn would want kits. She felt some sympathy for the feline, though. Fawnskip's never lost anyone close to her, but she couldn't imagine it happening. She wasn't really close to anyone, though, so she didn't have to worry about it. ``Your mate there sounds like one of a kind.`` Fawnskip couldn't tell if her words were sarcastic or genuine. She folded her ears back, glancing down at her paws.

In all honesty, Fawnskip could relate to Neverwing. If she were to have kits now, so young, she'd most likely abandon them in order to continue living her life to the fullest. She wasn't ready for a family yet. Able to understand Rosethorn's missing mate, Fawnskip felt the urge to support Neverwing. ``He probably wasn't ready, and was scared off. Being a parent is a huge thing, y'know, a thing not many cats can handle.`` She looked up, her golden eyes now uneasy as she revealed one of her fears - starting a family - and her reasons to it. ``Besides, you don't need a tom to help you raise your kits. You can be happy just as much without him, and probably do much better than you'd do with him.`` Fawnskip spoke her truth, what she believed in. Strange she'd share such beliefs with a stranger, and a possible future rival. But she spoke these words before Blazingstar, too, who she thought shared similar beliefs. Neither of the two were ready for a family.
