Spiderpaw turned to glare at his often joyful sister. Almost the positive opposite of himself. "I'm just hungry. Go find someone else to pester." He growled. He knew she wouldn't leave, but it was worth a try.

Owlstone nodded," Alright....but I do get to talk to kits and elders sometimes." She shrugged," I have two sisters. They talk to me once and awhile."

Leafwatcher's worried expression never faded, it just stayed their. The longer Shredfern talked, purred, or anything. The brown tabby kept on worrying. No cat could stop him from worrying. Maybe he should get his father to the medicine cat den, to get something for his throat, or something. He knew he couldn't stop age, however much he didn't want his father to die, it was going to happen. And that's what scared him to bits. He was the only parental figure he had left. He always was the only one who he sought for advice in his apprentice years. And now, his father's health was declining, and it upset him, a lot. And the only way he knew how to stop it was to get him to the medicine cat den. Something like that. He didn't know another way, really. Maybe, the worry over shadowed his sense in some way, which was probably the case. "I hope so," Leafwatcher replied, tail twitching, his brow furrowed as he heard his father's comment. "I wouldn't give up being a warrior, I really don't have a reason to." He wouldn't want to anyways. Things were happening. Tensions were raising with WindClan, and a battle could be on the way. And many cats would get hurt. And he didn't want cats to get hurt. Leafwatcher wasn't exactly happy about battle. He'd rather have peace. And he wasn't to thrilled on his maybe first battle. The other reason why he wanted his father to go to the elders den, besides his health. His father going into a battle, and perhaps, dying. His mother already died protecting him. He didn't want his father to have the same fate.

Berrypaw dashed into the clearing, looking around excitedly. He wanted someone to talk to, and he wanted to have fun! The little prankster noticed his siblings speaking to eachother and his dad talking to auntie Whitebird, but he wanted to meet someone new. The tom scanned the area, finally focusing on Sorrelpaw. The tortoiseshell dashed over to Sorrelpaw and skidded to a stop in front of her, his slightly bulky frame and long hair moving as he breathed heavily. "Hey Sorrelpaw, whatchya doing?"

Snowwhisker entered the clan clearing, having returned from a border patrol. He shook some brambles from his white fur, and looked around the clearing, looking for Chestnutsong. He hadn't seen her this morning, and he wondered if she had gone on a different patrol. He had wanted to share fresh-kill with her, and maybe spend some time together. He really liked sharing tongues with her, it was always fun. His golden gaze swept over the clearing again, maybe he had missed her the first time.

Sorrelpaw jumped as he heard a voice behind him. He whipped his head around to see Berrypaw, he sighed in releif that it wasn't a dangerous creature. "Hi Berrypaw..." He mewed,"ummm... I don't really know what I'm doing," he scoffed. He flicked his tail tip nervously at meeting a new cat. Although Sorrelpaw had seen Berrypaw around and had heard his name a few times before he was always a little nervous around new cats and almost always really quiet around any cat, usually being mistaken for a very shy and non intelligent cats but he's really not.

Thrushwing was happy that there was in fact a new deputy, despite him not being chosen himself. "Bubblestep, Bubblestep!" He cheered on, even moving from side to side so his calls could be heard well.
