Yup, I'm finally doing it! I'm finally creating a (youtube) show!
(i know i'm getting excited despite being acutely aware no one will sign up...)
Of course, you guys don't know this, but it's actually my dream to write (and maybe even create) some shows when I'm older. But right now I really
really want to create a YouTube show. I've been planning on making one for so long now, but I never had an animator nor any real ideas for a show. But I've recently been inspired to create a show and I do have an idea for one :3 Though I'm in need of an animator... I can draw, but now animate, which sucks :/ So I can draw up some refs for characters and such if the animator needs me to, but that about all when it comes to that subject.
I've already got a plot and such in mind, but I'm willing to change some things if it displeases the animator. Right now, I kind of want it to be like Eddsworld (yes, my newest inspiration) with some sort of Red vs Blue thing going on (ex: starting off a humorous dumb antics than start becoming a bit more serious plot with similar humor as earlier), though of course this is up for discussion. If you don't like this idea
at all, then it might be best to not apply... I'm sorry, but even if I have to change some things I still want it to be similar to that.
Also concerning characters and voice actors:
- I want to play on of the character, but I do
not want the lead. Also, our characters should look almost like us (we can add things like bangs and even change the style pf hair, but maybe keep it the same color? and other things that can be discussed... sorry, bad at explaining things X3). I already have ideas for my character such as personality and appearance so I hope that that's fine.
- Back to the lead... I was also hoping that maybe I could ask my best friend irl to voice the lead? if not, then i still wish for her to be able to voice one of the mains. I don't want the lead to too much more important than the others, I want it to be like in Eddsworld how Edd is the lead but you can tell that the others are also very important as well. Since I want my irl friend to be in it, it's fine for the animator to ask an irl friend of their own if they want... though we'll have to group chat with those we want in it to see if we can get along and such - also, we'll discuss ways of recording and editing videos later

Specifics for Show (please read them all... or at least skim for info):
("we" and "you" and referring to the animator and me)
- We will create a YouTube channel together on which we will air the show. The title for both the channel and the show will be discussed privately.
- Ideas/Talks concerning the show will be done via PMs, discord, skype, ect. (i'd prefer not emails, but we can if that's more convenient for you)
- As stated about the actors, I think about 3-5 characters would be good. There can be unlimited guest characters though
- We'll just make episodes when we can and not worry too much about uploading them and such, so if you're busy that's fine as long as you can find some time
- Still on the subject of episodes, I would like
- I won't be able to put any money to this since I'm broke, but hopefully you will have all you need to animate
- If we end up getting money from this show then we can talk about how to divide it up and such
- I'll probably make up a contract or something since I fear falling outs and us forming bad blood (i'm a bit paranoid about that... just go with it X3)
Specifics for Animator:
- I would like it if you were able to draw full bodies and backgrounds (backgrounds can be vague and not detailed)
- You have to be able to draw both genders in case we have both genders as a cast (i'm assuming the other genders won't look too different from the male or female so that's why i just said two genders)
- You have to be able to create some episodes every now and then. It doesn't have to be all the time and we aren't rushed since we don't have any airing schedule, but I do want to be able to make some episodes sometimes
- Of course you get to voice a character! If you don't want to (such as want to keep gender a secret, dislikes voice, ect) than that's fine. If you do want to and keep it a secret for similar reasons as not wanting to be on it.
There are actually auditions, just animate a person doing something for 10 seconds.
(episodes should be 1-3 minutes long... sorry about that, but we ca have videos that are less than a minute as well)

fenic! - i'm sure you're not interested in this... you have animated some things before (cat heads and stuff) and I like the style you use for humans,
so if you are interested than you please apply ^.^
