Overview: Elderkit was actually named for the elder plant because of the white spots on her pelt that look like elderflowers, but sadly the name turned out to be apt. She moves like an elder as she suffers from intermittent joint pain that makes mobility sometimes painful and limited. The severity of pain and stiffness varies from day to day. Elderkit will be quiet, very observant, and wise beyond her years because of this. She is kind, thoughtful, and often slow to speak and quick to listen.

Yeah. She's actually named after elder plants, like where elderberries come from. But as it turns out, she's going to be stricken with intermittent, unexplained joint pain, so a little more apt than parents expected.
