The apprentice looked around, hoping for another scent or random accounted with prey. But nothing came. She walked around in circles, trying to sniff out something other than twoleg scents.

Echospeck pads nervously as he lets Silvercloud mostly lead the way. anytime she turned to see him, he'd fix his posture and point out the way to go. I've wanted this moment for so long, no half doing things. He psyches himself up and points out one of his stops. "That dead tree there is where I usually start and return with freshkill." Though his aim is to impress her, he can't seem to get his light, nervous voice to cooperate.
