Running Away

Here comes the MASTER AT SCHOOL ROLEPLAYS THAT ULTIMATELY FAIL!!
Yet today, it's something a bit different, my peeps.

Applications are closed.

Have you ever wished to run away? Not those little thoughts when you're angry at your parents, but an actual wish that you were away from there forever. Well, now you are running away so be prepared.

You live in a really sucky orphanage in Alaska, going through the same routine every day and never getting adopted. But one day, one of the older kids gets up in the middle of the night and takes some of the younger ones away from that place, so they don't have to spend their childhood there as they had.

The problem is, Alaska doesn't get that warm very often, and the nearest train is miles away from the orphanage and costs more than the children have ever had all together.

Everyone is going to have to work together to travel to the station, get onto the train somehow, and make it across Canada to Washington without getting caught or getting hurt... or worse.

It's a lame begging but... yeah. This is it. Here are the positions open!

Personality: Sammy is quite goofy and playful, but comes from a tragic home. Despite his optimistic outlook, he is a torrent of anxiety inside. His father was an abusive alchoholic, while his mother constantly bashed on his confidence. Sammy wanted to run. Run far far away. But if only it weren't Alaska. Sammy was then taken away from his abusive home. As years passed, Sam was never adopted. His anxiety grew so bad, he had to take medicine for it. He was ashamed of this however, and developed a cover up. He acts brave and willing to put himself in danger first. As news gets out that Sam's parents are no longer in prison, Sam is trapped in his anxiety. Sam wants to run, but not before saving others from the torment he had to suffer. Sammy lured some children out of sleeping, and ran away with them.
Looks: (sighs because there aren't any pictures of ppl around 15 with winter clothes on) Sammy has shaggy, brown hair and brown eyes. His face is littered with freckles. Sammy wears a white jacket with fur on the hood. His gloves are black, and he wears black, laced boots.

I would be one to know you don't need that bad a life to have those feelings but one does have to have some reason. If she had lived in the household with her father and had some sort of trauma, I'd understand because that could cause her to think less of herself.
But what you're saying is she was never even introduced to that life and doesn't exactly have anything like anxiety or depression included in her personality. Maybe if you were to keep that part, you would alter the personality a bit to be more fitting.

Personality: Asaki is rather a social butterfly, always trying to have a conversation. She hates to be alone and usually is in large groups. Even at this young age, she wants to help and will probably look up to the oldest child. She does have her downfalls, though and even at her young age she inflicts self-harm to herself. Before the orphanage, Asaki was born after her mother had been attacked by her father, and once she was born, her mom immediately took her to the orphanage.

But what you're saying is she was never even introduced to that life and doesn't exactly have anything like anxiety or depression included in her personality. Maybe if you were to keep that part, you would alter the personality a bit to be more fitting.

May I also add that it is a possibly triggering thing for some people, and somewhat uncomfortable of a thing to bring up. I'm not saying you shouldn't roleplay it, I'm just going to say that you should be careful on how and do it at a minimal. Thanks ^^

Personality: Liam never met his mother, was never even around her besides the first few minutes after he was born. Despite being given up to the orphanage by his mother and never knowing anything about his dad, he is pretty friendly. He strives to never be like his parents, not wanting to give up on anything. He is great at sweet talking adults and loves pranks. He is great at doing things with his hands, even though he is young. Liam is quite ambitious and will do anything he has his tiny heart focused upon. He has little trust for most adults but is fine around other kids.

At this age, he doesn't have very much of a personality but he does have a few unique aspects. He's not shy, but he doesn't speak much. His first words were delayed by a few years, to say the least, and what he does say is mispronounced and slurred. He sometimes has a difficulty moving around on his own and prefers to crawl around rather than walk like most children his age. He loves to laugh, he'll laugh at pretty much anything if he isn't sucking on his fingers. His personality is mostly toddler blabbering things.
