Marigold walked out of her den, stretching the sleep out of her back legs. The she-cat looked around for her friend coal. Maybe he's still sleeping. Marigold looked in the den for a moment as she searched for Coal.

Coal was dozing under a hollybush and woke he realized he was freezing for he never slept good under bushes and things there was too much ventilation he stretched in his confined space and squeezed out of the bush just to see marigold padding around. "Marigold over here!" He mewed loudly licking his paw and cleaning his ear.

Marigold dipped her head slightly. "I just don't want you to be cold when I'm all nice and warm in the den." mewed Marigold. The molly really cared about him, but she didn't know what to tell him.

Splitstrike narrowed their bi-colored eyes, gazing around wearily. They were a former RiverClan cat, and in following the stream, they had came across this area. This would make a nice denning area. The sturdy maine coon mix thought with a quick lash of their tail, as if dismissing the thought. The large feline was a dark brown tabby, housing a flashy white underbelly and neck, and two startling eyes. One was a bright gold, the other a blue. Both of them stood out generally way too much. Black noise twitching as they lifted their head to take a sniff at the air, they soon scrunched their face in a snarl when the scents had reached their nasal cavities. Of course, just to their luck- there was other cats in this area. They snarled, a low grumbling sound. Too bad for them. With their tail raised, the non-binary feline paraded through the undergrowth, looking around the source of the scents.
They could certainly deal with two loners. After all, these cats were loners. They sincerely doubted that killing them, or at least, driving them off would be hard. Though, now that they thought about it, the first thing sounded more fun and thrilling.
