Well...I do suppose you know where you are...just because your a kit doesn’t mean your mousebrained...I wasn’t. Alright. The first moon of my life was happy. I nessled with my mother and played with my two littermates...I prefer not to say names...to many memories.” She sighed,” No sweet kit, it ain’t to hard on me to tell. My story needs telling. It will help me telling it. At two moons old our camp flooded. My father grabbed one of my littermates and swam off. I felt disappointed as I wanted to go with my father as he wasn’t in the nursery much. I saw my mother pick up my sister, I assumed she’d bend down so I could get on her back, but she swam off, she was panicking I assume now. But I didn’t realize that then. I chased after her screaming her real name in muddy camp, she didn’t hear me...probably because it was windy and branches were falling off trees. I left camp alone chasing after her. I desperately wanted to catch up. I soon lost sight of them as my wery legs kepts swimming, it’s a miracle I was going the wrong direct and had the current as an advantage. I finally needed to rest and climbed ashore only to find one horrific sight. My father was dead. I screamed and hollared, but no one came. I did a messy job of half-burying him, I basically heaped some dirt on him and called it burying him. I continued swimming and saw my little siblings dead too...I’m suprised she couldn’t make it through the currents, they weren’t that strong as I was still swimming. I dragged her ashore and heaped dirt over her. Luckily, an apprentice named Applepaw saw me and carried me the correct direction. I reached Riverclan camp soundly, then observed that my mother and sibling weren’t their. A warrior informed me they were dead. I was grief striken. I had a foster family, but it wasn’t the same. I became apprentice to Nightshade @
Kyra-Wolfe-666 and was upset, because my littermates never got the chance to be an apprentice, after all. They didn’t get to tour the borders, hunt, fight. So I did three times the necessary amount of apprentice duties, to make-up for it.
